NOTE: Fujino Kuniaki is a character I made up using a random name generator.
The 10 boys and girls of Tomoeda Elementary School all cheered as the second
of the two tents stood tall after the two teachers put the finishing touches on.
What was different was that they weren't cheering from inside a classroom, but
from just outside a dense forest outside the city limits of Tomoeda. These
students and teachers were chosen by the school to go on a one day camping trip
to give everyone the sensation of camping and exploring the forest. Of the 10
students, 6 of them were girls (Sakura Kinomoto, Meiling Li, Tomoyo Daidouji,
Rika Sasaki, Naoko Yanagisawa, and Chiharu Mihara) and the other 4 were boys
(Syaoran Li, Eriol Hiiragizawa, Takashi Yamazaki, and Fujino Kuniaki), all
dressed up in their usual school outfits. Accompanying them to keep them safe
were Kaho Mizuki and Yoshiyuki Terada, the former of which once subbed for Mr.
Terada. Nowadays she makes her living as a shrine maiden, but was kind enough to
volunteer her time to watch over the girls.
"Well done, everyone. You see what we can accomplish when we work together?" Mr.
Terada said.
"Yes, Terada-sensei!" all the kids exclaimed.
"Now can we please go explore the forest!?" Meiling shouted.
"Yes you may, Meiling, but please remember not to wander too deep so you don't
get lost." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"We won't, Mizuki-sensei! We have an excellent navigator!" Tomoyo said as she
winked a couple times over at Sakura.
"Errrr… we do?" Sakura said, but she finally figured out what Tomoyo was
referring to as she thought of her full arsenal of powers, "Oh! Yes! Of course!"
Quickly, the kids went running into the forest, and the teachers smiled.
"Such a bundle of energy, those 10 kids." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"I don't think it's an accident the school chose them over the others. Anyway,
thanks again for helping me out." Mr. Terada said.
"My pleasure." Mrs. Mizuki said as the two bowed respectfully towards each
other. Rika, before she could run in with the other kids, looked back at the two
teachers and kinda snarled. She secretly harbored very deep feelings for Mr.
Terada, thinking of him almost like a father.
"Rika, come on!" Naoko shouted from a distance, prompting Rika to turn around
and chase after the other kids.
Of course, all the kids stayed close to the entrance of the forest to
guarantee they wouldn't get lost, especially without even the most basic tools
to cover their tracks (like bread crumbs) on hand. Still, they had fun running
around thinking of something to do while they were in this lush location. As
Tomoyo was filming the scenery with her camcorder, Sakura walked alongside her.
"Isn't this beautiful, Sakura? Imagine doing a movie about some lost forest
princess looking for her true love." Tomoyo said.
"And let me guess? I'm the princess and Syaoran is the true love?" Sakura said.
"Teehee… it's perfect! Especially for the outfit I designed… but sadly had to
leave at home. Ugh… why'd they have to give us small camping bags?" Tomoyo
asked.
"It's okay, Tomoyo. There's always another time." Sakura said. Suddenly the two
heard footsteps running through the dirt pathways. The duo turned around and saw
Eriol running up to them.
"Oh? What is it, Eriol?" Sakura asked.
"Hey, girls. Did you make sure to bring umbrellas? I hear it's going to rain
shortly." Eriol said.
"Huh? Are you sure? I'm pretty certain the weather called for sunny skies
today." Tomoyo said.
"Maybe check the skies one more time." Eriol said. Sakura and Tomoyo did just
that... and suddenly found themselves getting splashed in the face with
exploding water balloons.
"HEY!" Sakura and Tomoyo shouted as they felt their faces and clothes get
covered in water. At the same time, they heard two boys laughing from a tree
branch above. It was Fujino and Takashi as they climbed down from the tree and
ran away. Eriol slowly followed them, but looked back at the girls with a smile.
"In my home country, it was always customary to play pranks during a camping
trip." Eriol said before he scooted away.
"Ooooooh! That brat!" Sakura said.
"Yeah… I didn't think he had a bit of immaturity in him!" Tomoyo said as the two
girls walked away from the spot they were ambushed.
A bit later, and in another part of the forest, Meiling, Syaoran, and Fujino
were walking together. They were listening the sounds of many birds flying
overhead and squirrels jumping from branch to branch.
"Wow, cousin! Just listen to the sounds of nature." Meiling said.
"It's so peaceful." Syaoran said.
"You know, if you stand against a gigantic tree, you can hear the voices of the
forest." Fujino said.
"Huh? Shouldn't it be if you stick your ear in a seashell, you can hear the
ocean?" Meiling said.
"No, really! It's true! Here, try it." Fujino said as he gently led Meiling
towards one of the trees.
"Now, close your eyes and listen…" Fujino said. Meiling did just that and
concentrated her hardest to listen.
"Hmmm… I think I hear something." Meiling said. This is when Fujino gently
tapped Syaoran on the shoulder with one hand while holding a roll of rope in the
other. Syaoran had an uneasy look on his face as he looked at Meiling and then
finally stepped away.
"Oooooh… it's like the trees are talking to me." Meiling said.
"Good! Just hold still. Those voices may try to reach out and grab you." Fujino
said as he did his best to keep Meiling distracted. This gave Fujino and Syaoran
the opportunity to unravel the rope and tie it around the tree, naturally with
Meiling attached to it. After tying up the rope, Fujino did his best to hold his
snickers in as he kept listening to Meiling.
"Wait! I wonder if the tree is trying to reach out and touch me." Meiling said.
"Well… you might say that. Open your eyes and find out!" Fujino said.
Meiling opened her eyes and saw what had happened. She was stuck to the tree
with the rope firmly tied up around her waist and the tree.
"Huh? What the…? HEY! What's going on!?" Meiling shouted as Fujino finally broke
out laughing. Syaoran laughed too, albeit not as fiercely as Fujino.
"Hahahaha! I can't believe you fell for that! Trees talking to you… I thought
your cousin was smarter than that, Syaoran!" Fujino said.
"Er… well…" Syaoran said.
"Arrrrrrgh! I'll have your hides for this! Both of you!!" Meiling said.
"Catch us if you can!" Fujino said as he and Syaoran took off running. Luckily
for Meiling, she didn't stay tied up for very long. A minute or two later when
the two boys were far enough away, Meiling used her free hands to swing the rope
around to where she could untie it and drop it to the ground, allowing her to
run down the path the boys took.
Later that day, all 10 kids were back at base camp as the two teachers were
dropping the logs down for the campfire. Another couple of pranks had been
played by the boys on the girls in the couple hours that have since passed. They
were harmless, but still, the girls had uneasy looks on their faces as they
stared at the boys, all of whom were holding long wooden sticks. It seemed the
kids decided not to tell the grownups what had been happening in the forest
(aside from the usual stuff of seeing small creatures and looking up at the
swaying trees).
"Okay, everyone. I hope you've been paying attention on how to setup a
campfire." Mr. Terada said.
"Yes, sensei!" all the kids shouted.
"And look what I brought!" Mrs. Mizuki said as she held up a bag of
marshmallows, which brought smiles and oooohs and aaaahs from the kids.
"Actually, Mizuki-sensei, I brought my own bag of marshmallows. And I thought
it'd be a good gesture for the girls to give them these marshmallows to eat
first." Takashi said, holding up his own clear bag of marshmallows, of which
there were only six of.
"Ah! How thoughtful, Takashi! Very well, we can start with those." Mrs. Mizuki
said. As she and Mr. Terada helped get the fire started, Takashi took a
marshmallow and gently set it on each of the sticks the girls were holding.
"Thank you, Takashi. This was very thoughtful of you." Sakura said.
"You're welcome!" Takashi said. Once the boys and the two teachers got their own
marshmallows (from Mrs. Mizuki's bag), everyone now had one or two.
With the campfire burning bright and the sounds of the flames crackling, the
students were anxious to heat up their marshmallows. However, Mr. Terada stopped
everyone from doing so.
"Hold on, everyone! We should be thankful not just to the school, but for nature
itself for allowing us to enjoy this peaceful scenery for one night. Let this be
an experience that all of you will remember the rest of your lives." Mr. Terada
said.
"Thank you!" the kids shouted.
"Alright then, let's heat then eat!" Meiling said. The girls all leaned their
marshmallows over the flame, and a few seconds later, the marshmallows went…
POOF! They popped in a brilliant flash, leaving marshmallow bits splattered on
the girls' faces. The boys, of course, laughed.
"Hahahaha!" the four boys laughed.
Of course, the girls weren't laughing as they scrubbed the marshmallow bits
off. Mrs. Mizuki helped out.
"Oh my goodness! Are you girls alright? What are you boys thinking!?" Mrs.
Mizuki said. The laughing stopped a bit as they saw the serious look on Mrs.
Mizuki's face. However, Mr. Terada came to their rescue.
"Awwww… don't get too upset, Mrs. Mizuki. Fun, harmless pranks are all part of
the camping experience!" Mr. Terada said.
"Sigh… maybe so, but someone still could've been hurt." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"You're right, you're right. Boys, tell the girls you're sorry." Mr. Terada
said.
"We're sorry!" all four boys said. Some of the girls either sighed or rolled
their eyes, thinking they weren't seriously apologizing. Nevertheless, the rest
of the campfire gathering went without incident as the students talked about
random subjects.
Later that night, the girls, inside their own tent, were all finishing up
changing into their pajamas as they tucked themselves into their sleeping bags.
"So what will be doing tomorrow, Mizuki-sensei?" Sakura asked.
"We'll be exploring the forest in the morning before we head back to the
school." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"That sounds like fun! I've always wanted to study forest wildlife up close.
It'll serve as inspiration for a book I hope to write one day." Naoko said.
"Ah, you're still pursuing that dream, Naoko?" Rika asked.
"Mmmhmm!" Naoko said.
"Waaaaah! Snakes!" a male voice shouted from outside. As the girls looked at the
entrance of their tent, they suddenly saw what looked like snakes flying inside.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!" everyone screamed as they backed up to the back of the tent,
almost all the girls clutching each other. Seconds later, though, the girls
noticed the snakes weren't moving.
"Huh? Why aren't they moving?" Rika asked. Meiling crawled towards the snakes,
waiting to see if one of them would move.
"Be careful, Meiling! They could be poisonous." Sakura said. Meiling gently
tapped on one of the snakes, and it only took her mere seconds to determine the
status of the snakes, picking one of them up.
"Ugh. They're definitely not poisonous… because they're made of rubber!" Meiling
said as she slammed the rubber snake to the ground.
"We fell for the old rubber snake trick!" Naoko said.
"Arrrrrgh! Those immature brats! Especially Takashi!" Chiharu said as she got
up, picked up a snake, and marched out of the tent. The other girls quickly
followed suit.
Before Chiharu could set foot into the boys' tent, especially since they
could be heard laughing, the other girls stopped Chiharu in her tracks.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, tiger! That's probably what they're expecting… for us to go
marching in and tackle them like American football players." Meiling said.
"Meiling's right. It's not worth picking a fight with them. We can come up with
our own pranks tomorrow." Sakura said. Chiharu finally backed away and
straightened out her pajamas.
"Fine." Chiharu said as she marched back into the girls' tent along with the
other girls. After they threw out the rest of the rubber snakes, the girls spent
the next hour coming up with ways to get back at the boys (against Mrs. Mizuki's
wishes in the background) before they finally went to sleep.
Of course, Sakura had a different plan in mind for the girls. A couple hours
would pass through the night. She leaned her head up and gently nudged at
Tomoyo's bag.
"Tomoyo, are you awake?" Sakura asked.
"Mmmmm… yes, Sakura." Tomoyo whispered as she stirred awake.
"Me too." Meiling said.
"Can we talk outside for a moment?" Sakura said. The three girls slowly got out
of their sleeping bags and tiptoed their way out of the tent, making sure not to
wake the other girls up.
Once they were out of the tent, the three girls chatted with only Tomoyo's
flashlight helping them see each other.
"Alright, spill the beans. I know you have a sneaky and ingenious way to get
back at the guys." Meiling said.
"Heh heh… you've gotten to know me too well, Meiling. Of course, you too,
Tomoyo." Sakura said.
"So what cards will you be using?" Tomoyo asked. Sakura then took out her
familiar wand that she used to control both her Clow and Sakura Card powers.
"Just one. I can't risk exposing my powers from using multiple cards. I'm going
to use Little." Sakura said as she showed off the recently transformed Little
card (judging by the pink Sakura silhouette).
"Oh? Little? I was hoping you'd use Big to make yourself all big and
Godzilla-like." Tomoyo said.
"Come on, Tomoyo. Think! What would happen if someone else decided to camp on
these grounds?" Meiling said.
"You're right, I'm sorry. I still can't get over how magnificent Sakura looked
when she grew big." Tomoyo said. Sakura quickly smiled.
"Meiling's right, Tomoyo, and besides, by shrinking the boys and their tent, it
will give all of us a chance to get a sense of being big. And the best part?
Everyone will think they're dreaming!" Sakura said.
"Oh, good point!" Meiling said.
"Hmmm… I wouldn't mind. Perhaps I could even make this a mini-movie. A
documentary on how all 6 girls would react to having a different tiny boy in
their hands." Tomoyo said.
"Alright then. Time to cast the spell." Sakura said as she took a couple steps
towards the boys' tent. Then she held the Little card above her wand.
"Little!" Sakura said as the card lit up and the wand spread its wings apart and
the star inside the wand lit up as well. Then she aimed the wand at the tent,
watching as it shrunk smaller and smaller before the eyes of herself, Tomoyo,
and Meiling.
When the magic was done, the tent was about 6 inches tall, which made Sakura
figure the boys were around 2-3 inches tall.
"Awwww… that tent looks so cute!" Meiling said as she walked towards the tent,
only to be held back by Sakura.
"Not now, Meiling! Otherwise the boys won't think this is a nightmare." Sakura
said.
"Oh! Hold on, Sakura… what if some creature comes in during the rest of the
night and tries to eat the tent?" Tomoyo said.
"Don't worry, Tomoyo. I thought of that." Sakura said as she dug out another
card out of her pajamas. It was the Shield card. Once again, she hovered the
card over her wand and activated it. Nearly the entire shrunken tent was covered
in a blue aura, leaving a hole for oxygen to come through.
"Sakura, there are times when you amaze me beyond words." Meiling said.
"Even when I shrink your cousin, Syaoran?" Sakura said. Meiling giggled lightly.
"Come on, we better get back to sleep before any of the other girls get
suspicious." Sakura said. Tomoyo and Meiling nodded as the three went back into
their tent.
The next morning, when the sunlight started to blanket the outer forest and
the two tents, Sakura peeked her head outside and saw the shrunken boys' tent
still where it was last night (and with the blue aura gone with the magic of the
Shield card expired). She smiled, and that's when she got to work waking
everyone up.
"Hey, everyone! Wake up! Look what happened to the boys' tent!" Sakura said as
she repeatedly nudged the other girls, including Mrs. Mizuki, who all stirred
awake.
"What is it, Sakura?" Naoko asked as she put her important glasses on.
"You have to see it in person! I feel like we're dreaming…" Sakura said as she
winked over at Tomoyo and Meiling, who played along and acted as surprised as
the others.
"Hold on, hold on! We have to change out of these pajamas!" Mrs. Mizuki said.
"Yes, Mizuki-sensei!" all the girls said as they did just that, changing back
into their school outfits.
Once that was done, the girls all walked out and saw the shrunken boys' tent
(no longer covered in a blue aura) and gasped.
"No way!" Rika said.
"It's like an anthill!" Chiharu said.
"How did this happen?" Mrs. Mizuki said.
"Remember… this has to be a dream. I mean… how does one go about shrinking a
tent in real life?" Meiling said.
"True… but are ALL of us having this same dream?" Naoko asked.
"I don't see why not!" Tomoyo said.
"Who cares if it's real or not? Why not play some big pranks on them for a
change?" Sakura said, and that's when the group (minus the teacher, Mrs. Mizuki)
all smiled as they quickly thought of ways to play with the shrunken guys. Mrs.
Mizuki scratched her head, wondering how this was really happening, and she
followed from behind to make sure the six female students wouldn't go over the
top.
Meanwhile, inside the boys' tent, the guys and Mr. Terada were slowly waking
up, unaware as of right now on what had happened to them. But they wouldn't have
to wait long, for soft booming sounds and ground thumps by the second would get
their attention quickly.
"Whoa… an earthquake!?" Takashi shouted.
"In this part of the world? Possible, but not likely." Fujino said. Syaoran was
the first to peek his head out of the tent. When he looked to his right and saw
what was coming, he gulped and stuck his head back in.
"Um… I think we're in big trouble." Syaoran said.
"Huh? What are you talking about, Syaoran?" Fujino asked. Before the
conversation could go any further, all the guys heard a female voice from above.
"Rise and shine, little guys!" Sakura said, her voice sounding much louder than
usual. That's when all the guys (still in their pajamas) came running out and
gasped. They were looking way, way, waaaaaay up at Sakura, Meiling, Tomoyo,
Rika, Chiharu, Naoko, and Mrs. Mizuki (who of course was the biggest of them all
being an adult).
"Yipes! It's the attack of the 50-foot schoolgirls!" Takashi shouted.
"Actually, Takashi. We are the ones who got smaller." Eriol said.
"Is… is this a dream?" Syaoran asked, to which Sakura quickly answered as she
kneeled down and got a closer look at the shrunken boys.
"Of course it is, Syaoran! We're all living the same dream." Sakura said.
"But how?" Syaoran asked. Meiling was the next to kneel down and look at the
boys.
"Maybe it's because of the stupid pranks you played on all of us yesterday.
Funny how dreams come together, right?" Meiling said.
"Oh! Are you filming, Tomoyo?" Sakura asked.
"Of course!" Tomoyo said as she was holding her trusty camcorder and recording
all the action.
"Good, because it's time we pulled some pranks of our own." Sakura said.
"Gulp… like what?" Fujino asked, watching as Sakura raised one of her legs up.
"Like pretending you're all bugs and stepping on you!" Sakura said as she slowly
brought her black dress shoe down. The boys all turned around and ran, with
Sakura planting her shoe down when they were no longer underneath it.
"Hey, be careful, Sakura!" Mrs. Mizuki said.
"Don't worry, Mizuki-sensei. We will." Sakura said.
"Yeah! We have experience! Well, kinda. Sakura helped me with a giant monster
movie I filmed last week." Tomoyo said.
"Fascinating…" Mrs. Mizuki said as the group of ladies all slowly chased after
the shrunken guys.
During the chase, as all the guys looked back and saw how close the
'giantesses' were getting, Eriol was the one who didn't show a smidge of fear on
his face. In fact, he looked unhappy as he looked up at a grinning Sakura.
"Darn you, Sakura, for thinking this is all a game. I should've known better
than think you were the one destined to responsibly control the Clow Cards."
Eriol said to himself. Eventually, Rika, Naoko, and Chiharu all picked up their
paces and stepped in front of the group of boys, cutting off their path forward.
"Come here, Takashi!" Chiharu shouted as she reached down to pick up the boy.
"Eeeeek!" Takashi screamed as he was too scared to move out of the way from
being grabbed by Chiharu's giant hand.
"I got you, Takashi!" Fujino shouted as he leapt up trying to grab Takashi. He
could only grab Takashi's leg and the two boys could only hold on for the ride
as Chiharu scooped up both boys into the palm of her hand.
"Teehee… you look so cute! I hope this dream never ends!" Chiharu said.
Meanwhile, Takashi was repeatedly pinching the top of his right hand.
"Owowowow…" Takashi said.
"Takashi, what are you doing?" Fujino said.
"Trying to wake up from this nightmare!" Takashi said. Meanwhile, Chiharu
giggled as she made her way back to the campsite near the tents.
As for the other shrunken guys, before Eriol could sneak away and escape
somewhere, he wound up in the tight grasp of Naoko's hand.
"I think I'll hold onto you, especially since we both wear glasses!" Naoko said.
"Flattering." Eriol said.
"Thanks! This ought to be neat… I've never held onto a shrunken person before…"
Naoko said as she walked away. Next to be removed from the ground was Syaoran,
but this time, he watched as Sakura kneeled down and lowered a hand towards him.
"Care for a lift?" Sakura asked.
"Like I have a choice." Syaoran said as he stepped onto Sakura's hand and the
'giantess' stood back up. Just as Sakura stood back up, Meiling walked up behind
her.
"Hey, come on! Don't hog Syaoran all to yourself! Remember, I have a thing for
smaller-than-normal people too!" Meiling said.
"Of course, Meiling. I remember. Don't worry, we'll share." Sakura said.
"Hahaha! Hear that, cousin? We're going to have fun!" Meiling said.
"Yeah, I figured we would." Syaoran said, falling to the palm of Sakura's hand
as she and Meiling quickly walked back to the tents.
That left Mr. Terada on the ground, and who would be his caretaker until this
'dream' was over? Who else but his secret admirer, Rika Sasaki. Already she was
gushing from the inside over seeing the teacher shrunken down even though she
looked shy and timid from the outside.
"Are… are you alright, Terada-sensei?" Rika said.
"Well, yes. About as well as can be expected." Mr. Terada said.
"Don't worry, I'll hold onto you for now." Rika said as she reached down and
gently picked up the teacher. As she stood back to her full height, Mrs. Mizuki
walked up alongside Rika.
"Rika, maybe you should let me hold onto Mr. Terada." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"No, it's okay, Mizuki-sensei. I can handle him just fine." Rika said.
"I must insist. He could get hurt easily being at that size." Mrs. Mizuki said
as she tried to reach in and grab the teacher, only for Rika to turn away and
look angrily at her.
"I said I can handle him! LEAVE US ALONE!!!" Rika suddenly shouted as she walked
away and headed back to the tents.
"My goodness… I would expect that kind of behavior from a wife protecting her
husband. No, it couldn't be… it's probably just part of this dream. Weird things
tend to happen in dream land…" Mrs. Mizuki said.
Chiharu never felt so powerful in her life. She always felt like she had
control over Takashi, given all the times she's slapped him silly for making a
fool of either himself or any other girls in the area. And to have Fujino be
part of this mess made her only feel better.
"Now then… I wonder what I should do first? Throw rubber snakes on you? Pretend
I'm Bigfoot? Throw water balloons all over your faces?" Chiharu asked.
"Please, Chiharu! We're sorry! Please don't hurt us!" Fujino said. Chiharu
tightened her grip on both boys and brought them both inches away from her face.
"So noooooow you apologize? Where was that apology when you made me almost rip
my hair out from having to throw a rubber snake off!?" Chiharu shouted as both
boys gulped nervously.
"You know… there's one part of the forest that kinda stinks. Did you ever get a
chance to go there?" Chiharu asked.
"No." both boys said.
"Awww… that's too bad. I can take you there, though!" Chiharu said with a smile.
With her free hand, she reached down and helped her foot out of one of her
shoes. After looking briefly at her socked foot, she then set both boys down on
the ground, and before they could move an inch, Chiharu pinned them down
underneath the sock. Already the two guys were coughing and almost gagging.
"Ugh! Even rotten eggs smell better than this!" Fujino said.
"Hahahaha! That's right, you little pests! Feel the wrath of my… oooooh… I
better be careful before I sound like an evil witch." Chiharu said.
"*cough cough* Chiharu! This isn't a prank, this is torture!" Takashi said.
"Really? Well, I say one man's trash is another man's treasure." Chiharu said.
"Is that really a good analogy for… ACK!" Takashi said, only to feel Chiharu put
a little more pressure on her socked foot.
"Sorry, not listening!" Chiharu said.
She would soon be joined by Tomoyo, who came walking in still recording with
her camcorder. Even so, she wondered what Chiharu was doing.
"Oh? What are you doing, Chiharu? You're not crushing them, are you!?" Tomoyo
said.
"Of course not! I just wanted to drive some fear into them for what they did to
us in the forest." Chiharu said. Tomoyo zoomed the lens of her camcorder towards
the two boys.
"I'd say you succeeded." Tomoyo said.
"Tomoyo, please tell her to stop!" Fujino shouted.
"Uncle! Uncle!" Takashi said.
"Yeah, I think they've had enough, Chiharu." Tomoyo said.
"Yeah, you're right." Chiharu said as she lifted up her socked foot. She quickly
picked them back up into her hands.
"But there is one other game I'd like to play with them. Alright, boys. Grab a
pigtail!" Chiharu said as she directed her hands towards one of the pigtails in
her hair. Obviously there was hesitation from the shrunken boys, but between
some nudging from Chiharu's thumb as well as a little coaxing from Tomoyo
nearby. Eventually, Takashi was clinging onto one pigtail, holding onto the hair
like it were a series of ropes, and Fujino was holding onto the other side.
"Alright! The one that stays on gets a big reward! Hold on tight!" Chiharu said
as she suddenly whipped her head back and forth, causing her hair to swing
wildly and the boys to scream as they held on for their lives.
As Tomoyo filmed the whole scene, Chiharu felt she would've had to stop any
second because she was almost getting dizzy from swinging her head around.
Finally, Fujino couldn't hold on any longer and he went flying off, landing
inside the backpack Tomoyo usually kept her camcorder in.
"Oh! Perfect shot!" Tomoyo said as she pulled out a very dizzy Fujino.
"Oy… anyone get the license plate from that giant head of hair?" Fujino asked.
Chiharu, meanwhile, stopped moving her head and gently plucked a just-as-dizzy
Takashi off her hair. Takashi fell to his knees as he struggled to stand up from
the dizziness.
"Teehee… I knew you could pull it out, Takashi." Chiharu said.
"Yeah… so… what's… reward…" Takashi said.
"What else? A biiiiiiiiiig kiss!" Chiharu said as she planted her lips all over
Takashi's shrunken body. The boy grinned with delight as he laid flat on his
back next.
"Ahhhhh… I hope this dream never ends." Takashi said. Tomoyo then gave Fujino
back to Chiharu.
"Well, you keep having fun, Chiharu." Tomoyo said.
"Huh? Where are you going?" Chiharu said.
"To film the others, in particular Syaoran with Meiling and Sakura." Tomoyo said
as she walked away.
"That ought to be a barnburner." Chiharu said as she looked back at Takashi and
Fujino, both sweating nervously as they wondered what the 'giantess' had in
store for them next.
Sakura stared wistfully at the shrunken Syaoran in her hands. It was making
her feel good to have her boyfriend sitting right there, whereas Syaoran backed
away nervously towards her fingers.
"Why are you so nervous, Syaoran? You know I won't hurt you." Sakura said.
"I… ahem… I can't help it. You're so big." Syaoran said.
"Teehee… I know! Here, maybe this will calm you down." Sakura said as she gently
rubbed the top of Syaoran's head, wrinkling up his hair in the process.
"Listen, Sakura. I wasn't sure about going through with those pranks, especially
the ones against you." Syaoran said.
"I know, but still. You could've stood up to them like we both did against those
Clow Cards." Sakura said. Syaoran twiddled his fingers together.
"I thought maybe I could fit in with the other boys at long last." Syaoran said.
"Awww… Syaoran. You know you should always be yourself…" Sakura said.
Before the two could chat any further, Meiling came up from behind and looked
over Sakura's shoulder at the shrunken Syaoran.
"Hey there, little cousin! Why not hang around in my hands?" Meiling said as she
reached over to try and grab Syaoran, only for Sakura to move her hands away and
close them, trapping Syaoran inside.
"Hey, come on now! I've only just now started talking with him." Sakura said.
"Learn to share, Sakura! Besides… being my cousin, I should be the one holding
onto him!" Meiling said as she started following Sakura around.
"Not if you can't catch me!" Sakura said as she and Meiling went running in
circles around the tent.
"Hey, no fair!" Meiling said as the two girls chased each other. Syaoran could
feel Sakura running around judging by how bumpy his ride was getting, and soon
he was about to go flying. Sakura didn't see a small rock in her path and
tripped over it. She didn't fall over, but in trying to keep her balance, she
opened up her hands and ended up throwing Syaoran forward.
"Waaaaaah!" Syaoran shouted.
"Syaoran!" Sakura shouted. She then watched as Meiling sprinted in front of
Sakura and tried to catch the flying Syaoran. She ended up missing, but Syaoran
was conscious enough to see an opportunity to save himself, and that's when he
reached out and grabbed the white skirt at the bottom of Meiling's school
uniform.
"Whoa, nice catch!" Meiling shouted.
Sakura finally caught up with Meiling and kneeled down to get a close up look
at Syaoran.
"Syaoran! Are you okay?" Sakura asked.
"Whew… I am now. At least I got my free flying lesson for today." Syaoran said.
"Sakura, you gotta be more careful!" Meiling shouted.
"I know, I know, I'm sorry." Sakura said. Meiling then looked down and saw
Syaoran slowly climbing up Meiling's dress.
"Oh? What do you think you're doing, Syaoran?" Meiling said.
"Well, I figured one of you was going to beg me to climb this dress." Syaoran
said.
"Teehee… I think you look cute doing it!" Meiling said. Sakura was watching
Syaoran do his climbing, and she smiled as she silently agreed with Meiling.
Sakura then stood back to her full height and looked over at Naoko nearby.
"Hmmm… I think I better check on Eriol. You know how he can be in times of
distress." Sakura said.
"Good idea. I'll keep a watch over Syaoran." Meiling said.
"Just promise you won't pretend to eat him." Sakura said.
"Me? Innocent, brave, and charming Meiling Li, threatening to eat one of the
closest people of my life!?" Meiling said. Sakura giggled a bit as she walked
over towards Naoko. As Meiling looked back down at Syaoran, now up to Meiling's
waist, she heard him talk again.
"We're not really dreaming, are we?" Syaoran asked.
"Yeah… I know nothing gets past you." Meiling said as she proceeded to tell
Syaoran the whole story.
Sakura eventually made it over to Naoko, where she was tying some string
around the shrunken Eriol. Tomoyo was there as well, again filming the whole
atmosphere.
"Huh? What's going on here?" Sakura asked.
"Oh! Hi, Sakura. Remember that prank the boys played on Meiling, tying her up to
a tree?" Naoko said.
"How could I forget? Meiling practically wanted to pounce on the guys when she
came back to the campsite." Sakura said.
"Well, I figured I'd go one step further by making my new friend here a yo-yo!"
Naoko said.
"I hate every last one of you right now." Eriol said.
"Heh heh… he's kinda being a gentleman about this whole thing." Naoko said.
"I see." Sakura said. Once Naoko finished tying the knot around Eriol, leaving
him unable to move or even struggle, she picked him up and looked over at
Tomoyo.
"Okay, Tomoyo. You are filming even though this is a dream and I'll never see
the final footage, right?" Naoko asked.
"Er… um… yes, of course!" Tomoyo said.
"Okay! 1, 2, 3!" Naoko said as she loosened her grip on the string and Eriol
went rolling vertically, rapidly spinning around naturally like a yo-yo would.
Just as quickly as he came down, he came back up as Naoko worked her string
magic. This left Sakura and Tomoyo impressed.
"Wow, Naoko! I didn't know you were so good with yo-yo!" Sakura said.
"Heh, well, I was almost the yo-yo champ of Tomoeda back in the first grade."
Naoko said with a smile as she took Eriol for a couple more trips. After the
last trip, Eriol clearly looked queasy and was about ready to lose his lunch
from yesterday.
"Uh oh… looks like he can't take anymore." Tomoyo commented.
"Oooooh… you're right." Naoko said as she quickly untied Eriol. She set the boy
down on the ground next to her dress shoes and watched as he indeed threw up,
leaving a miniscule mess on the ground.
"Good thing he's so small. Nature wouldn't like him leaving a mess like that on
this soil." Tomoyo said. Once Eriol was done throwing up, he turned around and
looked up at the three 'giantesses' that surrounded him.
"Thanks a lump, ladies. Especially you, Sakura." Eriol said.
"Really, Sakura? What does he have against you?" Naoko asked. Of course, Sakura
knew exactly why, but wasn't about to divulge the truth to her friend, even
though she was under the assumption this was all a dream.
"Er… I don't know, but I know he seems kinda hot right now." Sakura said.
"Maybe we should cool him off?" Tomoyo asked as she suddenly showed off a water
balloon. All three girls smiled as Naoko took the water balloon in her hands.
Naoko then pulled a pin out she had been keeping hidden in her outfit. She
dangled the balloon about a foot above Eriol.
"You know, Eriol, I hear there's a strong chance of rain for today." Naoko said.
"You wouldn't dare!" Eriol shouted.
"Well, normally I wouldn't, but since this is a dream… I can't resist! Teehee!"
Naoko said as she struck the balloon with her pin, bursting it and sending all
the water splashing down onto Eriol before he could even think about getting up.
He was immediately drenched from head to toe, leaving the three girls laughing
from above as he grumbled about when this 'nightmare' would ever end.
Inside one of the tents, meanwhile, it was a different atmosphere. While Mrs.
Mizuki watched from outside, acting as a de facto security guard, Rika was
treating the shrunken Mr. Terada with utmost care. The longer Rika stared at the
teacher, the more her face blushed as the realization built that she was holding
her secret crush in her hands.
"Well, Terada-sensei. Here we are… our secret hideout." Rika said.
"Er… I guess." Mr. Terada said.
"Please don't be nervous, Terada-sensei. I won't hurt you." Rika said.
"Yes. I have confidence you won't." Mr. Terada said. Rika then gently set the
teacher down atop one of her legs.
"Go ahead, walk around and admire." Rika said. Mr. Terada shrugged his shoulders
and did just that, casually walking up and down Rika's leg. As he did so,
however, Rika couldn't help but fidget around and giggle.
"Teehee!" Rika said, throwing Mr. Terada off balance a bit.
"Rika! Hold still! It's like an earthquake when you move around like that!" Mr.
Terada said, prompting a gasp from Rika.
"I… I'm sorry, Terada-sensei. Please forgive me." Rika said as she repeatedly
bowed her head.
Mr. Terada couldn't help but smile. Rika may look like she was 100 feet tall
comparing his shrunken size to her, but she was still Rika. Always wanting to
impress him and apologizing for even the slightest error either in judgment or
on the exam paper.
"It's alright, Rika." Mr. Terada said. Rika then reached down and picked up the
teacher, once again holding him in her hands.
"Tell me, Terada-sensei. Do you think I look big?" Rika asked.
"Of course, Rika." Mr. Terada said.
"Like… how big? If I had grown instead, how tall do you think I'd be?" Rika
said. Mr. Terada gave his answer quickly.
"Like an 8-story apartment building." Mr. Terada said.
"Really!? Oh my… that's pretty big." Rika said.
"True, but think, Rika. I've always said in the classroom to dream big. You
could possibly be even bigger in future dreams." Mr. Terada said.
"Oh?" Rika asked.
"If you dream big, nothing is off limits. You could even grow so big… the Tokyo
Tower would be the size of a toothpick." Mr. Terada said.
"Wow… that is BIG." Rika said.
"I believe in all my students, Rika, including you. You can achieve anything you
set your mind to." Mr. Terada said.
"Awwww… thank you, Terada-kun… I mean… Terada-sensei." Rika said, causing her to
blush again.
As she did so, she looked down at the teacher.
"Terada-sensei… may I… gulp… may I hug and kiss you like you're my favorite
doll?" Rika asked.
"Whatever makes you happy, Rika." Mr. Terada said. Rika smiled and snuggled the
teacher up against her chest, letting him hear her soft heartbeats through her
school uniform. The hugging lasted about 30 seconds, and then Rika moved Mr.
Terada up towards her lips. At first, the teacher wasn't sure Rika was going to
go for it, but she indeed planted her lips all over his upper body. After
kissing for 30 seconds, Rika pulled her lips away and turned her face to the
side and giggled.
"Teeheehee…" Rika giggled. She couldn't believe she just kissed the teacher she
had a secret crush on, even though this was only a dream, she thought.
Just then, however, Rika heard a voice from outside. It belonged to Mrs. Mizuki.
"Rika! The other girls need to see you!" Mrs. Mizuki said.
"Coming, Mizuki-sensei!" Rika said as she got up from sitting down and got a
firm grip on Mr. Terada.
Rika emerged from the girls' tent where she saw the other girls holding onto
the other shrunken boys.
"There you are, Rika! Did you have fun with Terada-sensei?" Sakura asked.
"Oh yes. It was... bliss." Rika said as she glanced upwards at the sky, thinking
back to her time with the teacher. Meiling walked up to Rika and waved her hand
around her face.
"Yoohoo… Earth to Rika!" Meiling said as Rika snapped out of it.
"So what are we doing here, Sakura?" Naoko asked.
"Yeah! I was just about to give Takashi a good tongue-lashing. Literally!"
Chiharu said as she licked her lips with her saliva-drenched tongue.
"Eeeeep! That's just gross, Chiharu!" Takashi shouted.
"Oh… I'm glad you're all having fun and we had a chance to… well, at least, in
our dreams… give the boys proper payback." Sakura said.
"Because nothing screams payback like them shrunken to the size of bugs, right?"
Meiling said. The boys just rolled their eyes.
"Anyway, I have one more big surprise for everyone, including the girls!" Sakura
said.
"Oh? What's that?" Rika asked.
"I need everyone to stand in a circle and close their eyes. Oh, and leave the
guys in the middle of the circle. Pretty please?" Sakura said.
"What for, Sakura?" Mrs. Mizuki said.
"I'd rather not say, but it won't hurt. I promise." Sakura said.
"Okay, everyone. You heard her." Mrs. Mizuki said as everyone spent the next few
seconds just as Sakura instructed.
Once everyone was in place and closed their eyes, Sakura gave the final
instruction.
"Okay. Now just hold still while I do my thing…" Sakura said as she tiptoed away
and took her place behind the tents. That's when she pulled out the Sleep card.
"Put everyone into a lull to truly make them believe what they just went through
was just a dream. Sleep!" Sakura said as she powered up the Sleep card and
pointed her wand towards the group of students and teachers (both big and
small). Collectively, the group drifted off to sleep and rested themselves on
the ground. Sakura then ran up to them and saw they were fully asleep. Well…
except for two of the girls. Tomoyo and Meiling got up after initially going
down with the other girls.
"Looks like it worked, Sakura." Tomoyo said.
"But how is it you were able to keep the two of us from falling asleep?" Meiling
asked.
"I've been practicing. Kero said if I'm to be a true CardCaptor, I need to work
on adjusting the power level of each card, and also learn to stack effects as
well." Sakura said.
"Oh? Does that mean you could someday grow even bigger with the Big card?"
Tomoyo said.
"Uh… yes, but another time, Tomoyo! Anyway, I'll need both your help to get
everyone back in their tents so they won't suspect anything." Sakura said.
"We're on it, Sakura!" Meiling said.
And so the three girls first put the shrunken boys in their tent, and then
they carefully dragged the girls (including Mrs. Mizuki) into the girls' tent.
As Tomoyo and Meiling got everyone in a proper sleeping position, Sakura ran
into the boys' tent and flashed the Little card.
"Little, reverse!" Sakura shouted, watching as the energy swirled around the
boys and eventually grew them back to their normal size. Sakura quickly turned
around and headed for the girls' tent where Tomoyo and Meiling came out.
"Everyone's in place, Sakura." Tomoyo said.
"Good! Now you two should do the same." Sakura said with Tomoyo and Meiling
nodding. Once they were in place, Sakura pulled out the Sleep card one more
time.
"Sleep! Reverse!" Sakura shouted with the energy swirling around not just the
girls' tent, but the boys' tent as well.
When Sakura saw the girls stirring awake, she walked up to each of them and
nudged their shoulders.
"Hey, wake up everyone! It's almost 11 o'clock!" Sakura shouted.
"What!? Oh my goodness! How did we oversleep?" Rika asked.
"I had the strangest dream. I dreamed the boys yesterday were teeny tiny and we
were playing with them like toys." Meiling said, of course playing along with
the story.
"Really!? I had the same dream!" Chiharu said.
"So did I! What a strange coincidence." Mrs. Mizuki said.
"Hey, wait. How come we're all dressed in our school outfits already?" Rika
said. Sakura, Tomoyo, and Meiling all lightly gasped as they didn't account for
that part of the plan. However, Sakura was quick to think of an explanation.
"Oh! Don't you remember, girls? We were all having so much fun yesterday,
including the boys, that we didn't bother to change into our pajamas." Sakura
said. All the girls looked at each other and then nodded.
"If you say so, Sakura." Rika said.
"She's never lied to us before." Naoko said.
"That's why she's the best cheerleader!" Chiharu said, prompting a laugh from
everyone.
The girls soon left their tent, where they saw the boys (and Mr. Terada)
coming back out, all in their normal sizes again.
"Good morning, ladies." Mr. Terada said.
"Good morning, Terada-sensei!" all the girls shouted.
"Mr. Terada, is everything okay?" Mrs. Mizuki asked.
"Oh, yes. It's weird, though. We were all talking about having the same dream
last night, when we were all tiny and being played with by the girls." Mr.
Terada said, prompting the girls to look at and murmur with each other.
"How strange." Mrs. Mizuki said, but the out loud thinking by everyone was
stopped by a loud clap from Mr. Terada's hands.
"Oh well. We can't worry about that now! We'll have to cancel the forest trek
and get back to the school right away! They're probably wondering why we're
still out here at lunch time. So chop chop, everyone! Let's get all this stuff
packed up and into the bus!" Mr. Terada said.
"Yes, Terada-sensei!" all the students shouted as they all got to work together
on packing everything up for the trip back to Tomoeda Elementary.
Sakura smiled, in the meantime, relieved that her 'shrinking dream' plan worked nearly to perfection and hoped there would be another opportunity to have that kind of fun with the boys again in the near future, especially with Syaoran Li.
