It was another beautiful morning in 20th Century Tokyo, just the way Rini
liked it as she looked outside the window in Serena's room. But she couldn't
admire the sunshine for long, especially when she heard a familiar voice behind
her.
"Rini, hurry! You don't want to be late for school!" Ikuko said, better known as
Serena's present-day mother and Rini's mother in the 20th century, at least as
long as she and the rest of the family (minus Serena and Luna) was hypnotized.
"Coming, Mama!" Rini said. After tucking on her school uniform one more time,
Rini walked out of the bedroom with the Luna Ball floating behind her.
Rini ran down the stairs, secretly admiring the sound of her feet pounding
against the wooden stairs. It made her think of the many daydreams she liked to
have of stomping around the city at hundreds of feet tall. But for now, she
snapped back to reality and ran into the kitchen where Ikuko was holding her
lunch box.
"Have a good day at school, Rini!" Ikuko said with a smile as she kneeled down.
"Okay, Mama! I love you!" Rini said, gently kissing Ikuko on the cheek before
she turned around and walked off, slipping her socked feet into her red dress
shoes along the way, to head to the elementary school.
Although Rini did not need to attend school, having attained all her
knowledge of the real world from the 30th century, especially considering she is
actually many years old despite looking like a child, 20th century law and order
pretty much forced Rini to spend much of the day getting an education from a
place befitting her appearance. She didn't mind it, though. She found it
interesting to study human behavior at a school from one century to another.
Unfortunately, there was one aspect in the 20th century that she did not enjoy
at all, and she sighed as she saw the three obstacles bicycling up towards her.
Rini stopped walking as she watched the three boys stop pedaling their bikes in
front of the pink-haired girl.
"Hey there, Rini!" one of the boys said.
"Oh. Hi, Yodo. Toshiro. Sanjiro." Rini said with a bit of a frown on her face.
The three boys went to the same class as Rini, and ever since they set their
eyes on her, they've been curious about almost anything they can think of,
whether it was her pink hair or her floating Luna Ball. It also didn't make her
feel better that Toshiro and Sanjiro were both slightly taller than Rini. Only
Yodo was the same height, and yet he was the self-proclaimed leader of the trio.
"Awww, what's wrong, Rini? You don't look excited to see us." Toshiro said.
"Yeah! We just want to be friends. That's all!" Sanjiro said.
"There are far less intrusive ways of being my friend, you know." Rini said.
"Look, we promise we won't pester you as long as you tell us who does your
hair." Yodo said.
"Yeah! And how that stupid ball of yours floats!" Sanjiro said.
"I don't have to tell you boys anything! Those are my little secrets." Rini
said.
"Yeah? Well, we got news for you, Rini. Nobody keeps secrets from us." Toshiro
said.
"And we have ways of making you talk." Yodo said. And that's when the
unfortunately poking and prodding began, starting with Sanjiro tugging on one of
Rini's pigtails.
"HEY! Stop that!!!" Rini shouted.
Rini scrambled around, trying to get away from the boys so they wouldn't pull
on her hair or dress anymore, but the boys had her surrounded. However, an older
woman soon came to Rini's rescue, running out of her house with a broom in her
hand.
"Stop that, you nasty boys! You leave that little girl alone and get going to
school!" the lady said.
"Oops! Time to bail, guys!" Yodo shouted as he and the other two boys went
running off towards the school.
"Hmph! The nerve of those boys, picking on you before you even get to school."
the lady said as she walked up towards Rini.
"Thanks, ma'am, but I'll be alright." Rini said.
"Are you sure? I can find out who the parents of those boys are…" the lady said.
"No, please, that won't be necessary. I can deal with them when the time is
right." Rini said.
"Well… okay. You seem like a nice and sweet little girl. Just don't do anything
foolish or troubling." the lady said. She then turned around and walked back
into her home. Before Rini could think about the lady or those meddlesome boys
anymore, she heard the bells ringing in the distance.
"Uh oh! I don't want to be late like Serena! That would be embarrassing!!!" Rini
shouted as she went into a jog now towards the school.
Hours later, Rini was able to make it through the rest of the school day
without those boys bothering her, though that was thanks in part to her keeping
her distance and sitting mostly with her girl friends (and fortunately they were
not as interested in how different Rini was compared to them). Still, Rini
sighed as she approached the front door of her 20th century home. She walked up
to the door and knocked on it.
"Mama, I'm home!" Rini said. Shortly thereafter, the front door opened up and
there was Ikuko to greet her.
"Oh! Welcome home, Rini. How was school today?" Ikuko asked.
"It was okay. Nothing really exciting happened." Rini said as she walked in and
slipper her feet out of her red dress shoes, placing them right next to Serena's
black shoes, which told her that Serena was already home (since she gets out of
her school earlier).
"Ah, okay. I suppose there will be boring days at school once in a while." Ikuko
said.
"Yeah, I guess." Rini said with a smile. She then walked up the stairs to head
back into the bedroom she shared with Serena.
When she got inside, Serena was sitting at her desk looking at herself with a
gloomy face in the mirror.
"Oh… hello, Rini. (sigh)" Serena said as she looked over and saw Rini walk in.
"What's wrong, Serena?" Rini asked.
"(sigh) I failed again to win back Darien's heart. I don't get it… I don't get
it at all." Serena said. It was a couple weeks ago that Darien broke up with
Serena, much to Serena's complete and utter shock. It was also perplexing that
Darien would not bother to explain why they were breaking up. Darien wanted to
tell her the truth, but for some reason he can't. Something in him was telling
him to keep his mouth shut and live with the fact that his nightmares of the
world coming to an end will come true if he continued to date Serena. Of course,
Serena didn't know that and it was eating at her with each additional second the
breakup lasted.
Rini didn't say much, just sitting down on the bed behind Serena and wanting to
change the subject.
"Serena, were you ever bullied at school when you were my age?" Rini asked.
"Hmmm? Well, yes. There were some boys that liked to pick on me." Serena said.
"What did they pick on you about?" Rini asked.
"Oh, mostly my hair. Darien wasn't the only one to call me 'meatball head,'
that's for sure." Serena said. She couldn't help but chuckle over saying those
two words for some reason, maybe because Darien used it in a respectful way when
they were dating.
"And how did you handle it?" Rini said.
"Well, most of the time I just ignored them. My parents both told me that
bullies liked to thrive on attention, and if they're not getting the attention
they deserve, they move onto another target." Serena said.
"I see. So just by ignoring them, they eventually go away?" Rini said. Serena
turned around to look at Rini in her eyes.
"Well… they don't go away overnight. I think these two boys that used to bother
me were caught by a teacher and after they were punished, they finally left me
alone and bothered some of the other boys. I guess they have to get caught in
the act before they finally get the message." Serena said. Rini simply nodded.
"Why do you ask, Rini? Are there any bullies bothering you?" Serena asked.
"What!? N…n…no! Well… maybe a little." Rini said.
"Awww… you oughta lure them back to this house, then I could give them the old
one two!" Serena said with a smile suddenly on her face.
"Really, Serena, it's okay. I can handle myself and some bullying kids. I'm just
glad I'm not alone in this." Rini said.
"Well, alright, but don't be afraid to ask if you need any help." Serena said.
"Serena! Rini! Dinner's ready!" Ikuko shouted.
"Coming, Mom!!" both Serena and Rini shouted as they walked downstairs.
The conversation about bullying between Serena and Rini stopped right there and
the two girls continued like normal for the rest of the day, although before
going to bed, Serena did remind Rini of something important.
"Remember, Rini. I'm going to be at the temple studying with Amy and the
others." Serena said.
"Okay! I'll be there! Raye said she would teach me how to see the spirits next
time I went there." Raye said.
"Oh! That sounds like fun. Anyway, good night, Rini." Serena said as the two
girls eventually went to bed.
The next day, Rini once again got herself prepared and dressed up for school.
It was the same routine as before. Get her lunch box from Mama Ikuko, give her a
kiss, slip her feet into her red dress shoes, and then walk out the door. This
time, she was not greeted by any of the bullies on her way to school. In fact,
they didn't bother her throughout almost the entire day of school. Were they
giving up on her already, focusing their bullying might on someone else like
Serena said would happen?
Once the final bell rang and Rini was on her way off the school grounds, her
luck had run out.
"Hey, pinkie head!" a male voice shouted. Rini sighed and did her best not to
turn around, still moving at a slow walk. She recognized the voice as coming
from Yodo.
"Hey, wait up, pinkie head!" Yodo shouted.
"Leave me alone, I have to get home now." Rini said. She suddenly had to stop
walking when Yodo ran up in her path.
"Wait, Rini. I promise I'm not here to pick on you." Yodo said.
"And I should believe you why?" Rini said as she folded her arms in disgust.
"Well, for one thing, it's just me. No Toshiro or Sanjiro around." Yodo said.
"And?" Rini said, still in a defensive mood just in case the bully had something
up his sleeve.
"Okay, listen, I know you have every reason to hate me. I'm sorry for the way
I've acted. I'd like to make it up to you." Yodo said. As much as Rini wanted to
continue ignoring the boy, she remembered her parents from the future telling
her often that there’s good in everyone. You just had to find it. Maybe this was
the good that they were referring to.
“Make it up how?” Rini asked.
“Well, I’d like to take a picture of you. Just one little picture to remember
you by.” Yodo said as he pulled a camera out from his pocket.
“That’s all? A picture?” Rini said.
“Yeah, that’s all! I promise, no tricks or gimmicks or anything like that. I’ll
leave you alone forever after I take the picture.” Yodo said.
“Okay, just as long as you leave me alone.” Rini said.
“I promise I’ll leave you alone. I won’t ask you ever about your hair or your
floating cat ball.” Yodo said, making his second promise already. The boy
started to walk away towards a lone tree, and Rini followed behind.
Rini was directed to underneath the very large tree, underneath one of its
many branches obscured by many leaves. Yodo went back several steps and aimed
the camera at the pink-haired girl.
“Okay, pinkie… er, I mean, Rini, smile for the camera!” Yodo said.
“Okay, ready!” Rini said as she smiled.
“Steady… steady… and 3… 2… 1… go!” Yodo said. However, the camera did not
exhibit any kind of flash, meaning Yodo did not take the picture. Rini noticed
that, but before she could wonder what had happened…
“EEEEEEEEK!” Rini said as she felt something rain down on her head. It was a
bucket of mud that had been hidden atop the branch she was standing underneath.
It turned out when Yodo said go, Toshiro and Sanjiro were standing behind the
tree holding a rope tied to the bucket. They pulled the rope, causing the bucket
to tilt forward and dump its contents, in this case nothing but dry mud and
dirt, down onto Rini. By the time Rini looked all over her body seeing what hit
her, Toshiro and Sanjiro came storming out towards Yodo in laughter.
“Hahahahahaha!!!” the boys laughed. Once Toshiro and Sanjiro were behind Yodo…
THAT’S when the picture was taken.
“Nice job, boys! That couldn’t have gone any better!” Yodo said.
“Yeah! Maybe now we should call her Mud!” Sanjiro said.
“Wahoo! Mud! Mud! Mud!” Toshiro said as the other two boys repeated the name,
with bursts of laughter from time to time.
Rini, on the other hand, was not feeling like laughing. In fact, the laughter
of the boys and the Mud chant were amplifying at a fast rate in her mind. It was
causing her to feel all sorts of emotions at that moment. At first she wanted to
burst into tears and run away, but anger started to crawl its way into the
picture. The nerve of those boys, she thought, picking on someone as sweet and
innocent as her. She wanted so badly to teach those boys a lesson, and if that
meant giving up some of her secrets, then so be it, she thought. And so with
that, she finally looked up and faced the boys again, this time with an angry
look on her face.
“Uh oh, is she going to cry until her eyes are red? Hahahaha!” Yodo said.
“Or maybe she’ll try chasing us all the way to China, leaving mud behind until
she’s called a monster! HAHAHAHAHA!!!” Toshiro said, prompting all three boys to
laugh as hard as they ever have.
“You can pick on my hair… my dress… my floating Luna Ball… you can call me
names, but dump mud all over my dress… and you’ve crossed the line! Luna Ball!!”
Rini shouted. She grabbed the Luna Ball with her muddy hands and bounced it on
the ground like a basketball. Finally she threw it up in the air.
“I want my instant drying blow dryer!” Rini said. The boys looked on in
astonishment as they watched the ball instantly transform into what looked like
an ordinary hair dryer. Rini caught the dryer and immediately aimed it at
herself, activating it and instantly blowing all the mud and dirt off her body
and clothes, leaving her squeaky clean as if nothing had happened.
Of course, the boys were quite astonished. They were already surprised to see
the ball floating in the air without any gimmick that they could see, but to see
the ball transform into another object was something straight out of science
fiction television to their eyes.
“Wh-what the!?” Yodo said.
“Whoa! That ball not only floats, but it changes!” Toshiro said.
“And not only that, that blow dryer just plain blew all that mud off her!”
Sanjiro said.
“She… she’s from Mars! Let’s get out of here!” Yodo said. The boys started to
turn around and run away, but Rini’s suddenly authoritative voice made them
change their minds.
“STAY WHERE YOU ARE! I’m not through with you three jokers!” the cleaned up Rini
said. The boys stopped running and the blow dryer changed back into her Luna
Ball, but Rini was not done showing off the power of her ball yet.
“Now, Kitty Magic! I want my shrink gun!” Rini said as she threw the ball up in
the air again. This time the ball changed into a toy-like gun that she
immediately aimed over at the three stunned boys.
“Alright, boys! Let’s see you try and pick on someone bigger than you!” Rini
said as she fired the gun just as the boys felt it was time to run for real.
“RUN!” Yodo shouted as he, Toshiro, and Sanjiro all turned around and started to
run, but just as they took their first steps, Rini fired the gun. The resulting
blue laser shot towards the three boys and surrounded their entire bodies. Rini
watched with delight as the three bullies shrunk smaller and smaller right
before her eyes.
Eventually, the boys stopped shrinking when they were down to just three
inches tall. They knew what had happened judging by how much closer the ground
appeared to be.
“She… she shrunk us!” Sanjiro shouted.
“How did she do that!?” Toshiro shouted.
“Weren’t you paying attention? That ball can change into anything she wishes!”
Yodo shouted. Before the three could wonder any more on what to think next, they
heard booming sounds that were progressively getting louder. The bullies turned
around and gulped nervously when they saw the now gigantic Rini approaching
them. Even from 10-15 feet away, Rini towered over the boys like a typical city
building. It only made them feel smaller when Rini planted her red dress shoes
about a foot away from where the boys were standing.
“So, boys, how does it feel to be the smaller one now?” Rini said.
“You… you can’t do this to us! Change us back!” Yodo shouted.
“Oh, after the mud slinging you gave me, I think you’re in no position to make
demands.” Rini said. She finally reached down to pick up the boys.
“Eeeeek!” all the boys shouted. They tried running away, but quickly found
themselves trapped inside Rini’s bare hand (the one that wasn’t holding onto the
shrink gun). Rini moved the hand up to her face and gave the three shrunken
bullies a good look at her red eyes.
“Now I have new dolls just like the ones I played with in the future. Teehee!”
Rini said.
“Please, unshrink us! We won’t dump mud on you again!” Toshiro said.
“You can’t keep us like this forever!” Sanjiro said.
“You’re right, I can’t, but by the time I’m through with you, you’ll think twice
before pestering me again. Now then…” Rini said. She then mentally commanded the
Luna Ball to change back into its former self, but right away she bounced it up
and down again and threw it in the air.
“Kitty Magic! I want my favorite purse!” Rini said. The Luna Ball then changed
into a purse, similar to the kind Serena would wear on her shoulder.
“What… what’s that for!?” Sanjiro asked with obvious fear in his voice.
“To keep you from being seen by someone else, what else?” Rini said. Once Rini
felt she had the purse securely on her shoulder, she dumped the three boys
inside, trapping them and leaving them with only a view of the giant pink haired
one and the blue sky. Rini couldn't help but smile and walk at a more brisk
pace, as she was anxious to get home and play with her new ‘toys’ for as long as
it was possible.
Rini happily made her way towards her home with her purse still strapped on
her shoulder. Of course, it was what was inside the purse that made Rini happy.
The shrunken bullies were bouncing up and down as the purse moved in every
direction possible.
“Help! Somebody help us!” Sanjiro shouted. Of course, such pleas for help could
not possibly reach anyone as deep as they were inside the purse. Rini,
meanwhile, knocked on the front door. It opened up and Ikuko was waiting on the
other side.
“Welcome home, Rini! Oh, you took your purse with you?” Ikuko said.
“Yes, Mama! Don’t worry, nobody talked about it.” Rini said.
“Okay, I’m just worried someone would try and steal it. I’ve seen too much of
that on the news… beautiful purses belonging to ladies getting stolen every day.
What a terrible crime. Thank goodness we have superheroines like Sailor Moon!”
Ikuko said.
“Yeah, I agree!” Rini said with a smile. The young girl started to walk up the
stairs before turning around and looking at her 20th century mother.
“Mama… are Serena and Sammy home yet?” Rini asked.
“No. Sammy said he was spending the day with that lovely doll making girl, and
Serena said she was at the temple studying with her friends.” Ikuko said.
“Oh, okay. Thanks! I love you, Mama!” Rini said as she ran up the stairs, her
red dress shoes clomping their way up the wooden stairs. Ikuko couldn’t help but
giggle.
“What a sweet little child. I’m glad she’s our cousin and not someone else’s.”
Ikuko said before walking back into the kitchen.
Rini walked into Serena’s bedroom (which the two shared), closed the door
behind her, and dropped her purse on the bed. She next reached inside and pulled
out the screaming shrunken boys. Once she did that and dropped them on the bed,
her purse changed back into her familiar Luna Ball. Rini had a big smile on her
face watching the boys wander around aimlessly and continue to scream for help.
But finally she wanted to show them who was in charge now.
“Shut up, you three little mice! Teehee… I’ve always wanted to say that!” Rini
said.
“P-p-p-please! Change us back! We’re sorry!” Yodo shouted as he and the two
other boys looked up at the giantess.
“I’d like to believe that, but if I grow you back, you’ll just go back to
bullying me again. I’m going to keep you small for as long as I want.” Rini
said.
“And how long is that going to be!?” Toshiro said.
“I don’t know. A couple hours? A couple days? Maybe even a couple weeks!” Rini
said.
“WHAT!?” all three boys said.
“No matter what, it’s time I bullied you for a change like the little bugs you
are!” Rini said.
“(gulp) What are you going to do with us…?” Yodo asked.
“Well, let’s see… how about I show you my juggling skills?” Rini said as she
reached down and picked up the boys one by one.
“Eeeeep!” they all shouted. Soon, they were back to screaming for their lives as
Rini tossed one boy into the air, and then another, and then the third one.
“Weeeee! Are we having fun!?” Rini said as she juggled the three boys with
perfection from one hand to another and in the air.
Rini kept this up for just a couple more minutes before she tossed all three
tiny boys on the bed. She giggled watching as the three boys wobbled around,
struggling to stand up straight on an already unsteady surface (in the form of
the bedsheets). Rini next jumped onto the bed, landing on her behind. Although
she bounced up and down only slightly, the three boys went flying up in the air,
reaching almost Rini’s nose.
“EEEEEEEP!!!” all three boys shouted.
“Hahahaha! What’s wrong? I thought all three of you liked bouncing on the
trampoline!” Rini said as she bounced up and down on the bed, causing the boys
to fly up in the air again, although not as high. Still, it was not a
comfortable feeling for them, but Rini enjoyed it very much.
Again, Rini kept this kind of play short, already wanting to move on to the
next ‘torture’ for the bullies.
“Alright, now I want to see how fast you three can run.” Rini said.
“What do you me… ack!” Yodo said, his thought cut off when Rini wrapped her hand
around him and the other two boys. This time, Rini put them right onto the
carpet on the floor. They were roughly twice as tall as the individual strands
of carpet, likening it almost to taller than usual grass. Still, they gulped
nervously when they saw Rini towering high above them.
“Now then, as I said, let’s see how fast you can run, because if you’re not fast
enough, I’ll crush you like the bugs you are.” Rini said.
“Y-you can’t do that! That would be murder!” Yodo shouted.
“True, but would anyone really miss you? Better get moving, little bully bugs!”
Rini said. With a smile on her face, she hovered one of her red dress shoes
above the shrunken boys and slowly lowered it down towards them. When the boys
saw the very bottom of the giant shoe coming closer and closer, they realized
she was probably serious about crushing them like bugs if they didn’t get
moving.
“It’s… it’s a trick! She won’t crush us!” Sanjiro said.
“Who cares!? Run, run, run!!!” Yodo shouted as he and the other two boys took
off running, just as Rini planted her red dress shoe on the ground with a soft
sounding boom. Rini smiled watching the boys fight their way through the carpet
strands, and she slowly followed in pursuit, coming within inches of the boys
with each step but making very much sure not to crush them for real. She wanted
them alive instead of dead, unlike some other ‘dolls’ she played with in the
future, but only because they were criminals sentenced to be her toys for as
long as they lived (maybe in a future story I’ll write something like that!
^____^).
For the boys, it was pure torture not only having to fight their way through the
short strands of carpet, but look behind them and see Rini’s huge red dress
shoes looming behind them.
“Man, this stinks! How could that little girl do this to us!?” Sanjiro shouted.
“Little? She’s far from little now!” Toshiro said.
“Yodo? Seriously, why are we running? She wouldn’t think of crushing us to
death!” Sanjiro said.
“I don’t care! She’s bigger than us now, so she’s calling the shots, you idiot!”
Yodo shouted.
This game went on far longer than the previous ‘torture’ tests, probably
10-15 minutes. This was thanks in part to Rini doing a little bit of her usual
‘giant pink-haired one’ imaginations.
“Heehee! Run, you little bugs, or Chibizilla is going to crush you with your
city!” Rini said as she stepped a little bit closer than usual to the three
boys, causing one of them to trip up and knock himself and the others over. Rini
stopped her walk planted both shoes in front of them.
“Yay! I won this round! And here’s my own reward…” Rini said as she hovered one
of her shoes above the boys, again slowly bringing it down on top of them. They
all screamed for mercy as they watched the black bottom of the shoe once again
approaching.
“Noooooo! Please don’t step on us!” they all shouted at the same time. It looked
like Rini was going to go through and really crush them flat, but seemingly like
she knew exactly the distance between her shoe and the boys, Rini stopped
lowering her foot exactly two inches away from their bodies.
“Hahahaha! You should’ve heard your voices, you three!” Rini shouted. The
boys got a look at her towering body once more when she moved her shoe away from
them, although they couldn't gaze at it for long when they saw Rini reach down
with her hands and pick the boys up once more.
"You guys were perfect. You'd make great little innocent screaming and running
victims if I had a tiny city." Rini said.
"Huh? You mean you weren't going to crush us all along?" Yodo said.
"Of course not! I may be mad with all three of you, but all I want to do is play
with you until I feel like you've learned your lesson on bullying those smaller
than you." Rini said.
"But isn't this overdoing it? Couldn't you have shrunken us to just half our
usual size or something?" Sanjiro said. Rini then moved her hands up towards her
face until the three boys got a very much up close and personal look at Rini's
red eyes.
"Oh, believe me, shrinking you that small will get the message across. In fact,
you three should be lucky I didn't shrink you even smaller." Rini said.
"*gulp*" all three boys gulped nervously.
"Boys your age this generation love watching movies and TV shows with giant
monsters and giant robots fighting those monsters. That's why I picked the size
you're at when I shrunk you. You should be quite excited to be in the hands of a
cute innocent girl like me." Rini said. The boys didn't want to discuss it any
further, and went back to begging to be returned to normal.
"Please! Just unshrink us! We'll never tease you or anyone else again!" Yodo
shouted.
"Yeah! Give us a break! We want to live!" Toshiro shouted.
"Teehee, you're all funny when you're the ones begging for mercy now." Rini
said.
Just then, there was a knock on the door to the bedroom. It opened slowly and
Rini quickly hid all three boys behind her back as she faced the door. Coming
inside was Ikuko.
"Hey, Rini. I just wanted to tell you that I made some sandwiches downstairs."
Ikuko said.
"Oh, goodie! Thanks, Mama." Rini said.
"By the way, who are you talking to? I don't see anyone else in here." Ikuko
said as she looked all around the room and saw nobody else but Rini.
"Oh, um…" Rini said, trying to make up a story of who she was talking to.
"Wait a minute… what do you have behind your back?" Ikuko asked, then noticing
Rini clearly trying to conceal her hands. That's when Rini used quick thinking
to get her out of this jam.
"Oh, I'm just talking to these action figures that Sammy let me borrow." Rini
said as she showed off the 'action figures' that were really the shrunken
bullies.
"Oh? Sammy letting you borrow his toys? I can't get him and Serena to borrow
anything without those two fighting!" Ikuko said.
"Teehee… I was being nice to Sammy, that's why he let me borrow them." Rini
said.
"Ah, I see. Anyway, as I said, I have sandwiches downstairs for you." Ikuko
said.
"Oh boy! I can't wait!" Rini said. She started to walk out of Serena's room, but
Ikuko put a hand in her path.
"Uh uh uh… first you gotta leave the toys behind. We don't want to lose them in
the kitchen, right?" Ikuko said.
"You're right, Mama." Rini said. She turned around and placed the three shrunken
bullies on the nearby dresser.
"Alright, my little action figures. You just stay put until I return!
Teeheehee!" Rini said. As she and Ikuko finally left the room, the three boys
were left all by themselves.
"(sigh) Guess we're stuck here." Toshiro said.
"Why can't we just jump off and run out of here!?" Sanjiro said.
"You idiot! Where would we go!? How would we return to our normal size!? It
would take us days just to get back to our own homes even if we did break out."
Yodo said.
"So you're saying we should just sit and wait here?" Toshiro said.
"It's our only choice. Besides, my Mom is such a worry wart. She's probably
calling every number in the book trying to find out where we are." Yodo said.
The three boys sighed once more and sat down, looking around the gigantic
bedroom.
A few minutes later, as Rini was sitting at one of the tables eating her
favorite sandwiches, she and Ikuko heard the front door suddenly open.
"Mom, I'm home!" the familiar voice of Serena rang.
"Welcome home, Serena! I made you some sandwiches, would you like some?" Ikuko
said as Serena suddenly came into view, already out of her black dress shoes.
"No thanks, I had some snacks over at Raye's temple. I'll just wait until dinner
time." Serena said.
"Okay… hey, where are you going?" Ikuko said as she watched Serena hustle up the
steps.
"In my room. I'm sooooooo tired." Serena said. That's when Rini gasped… she's
going into the bedroom, where she left the shrunken bullies. Ikuko easily heard
that gasp.
"What is it, Rini?" Ikuko said.
"Oh, um… nothing at all. Just something I was thinking about." Rini said.
"Ah, okay. How do you like your sandwiches?" Ikuko said.
"Oh, delicious! Most delicious!" Rini said as she sped up on eating the
sandwiches so she could quickly get back into the bedroom.
The bullies sat on the dresser until they heard soft booming noises once
more. They thought it was Rini returning, but they instead looked and saw a much
bigger giantess entering the room, whom of course was Serena.
"Whoa! Who's that!?" Toshiro said.
"I don't know… she must be Rini's older sister." Yodo said.
"Look at the meatballs on her head!" Sanjiro said. As Yodo and Toshiro looked
awkwardly over at Sanjiro, they suddenly had to look at Serena who was walking
periously close to the dresser.
"Yaaaaaaaaaaaawn… it's been a long day… as usual. I think I'll take that nap
now." Serena said. The bullies suddenly looked up as they saw a big black object
coming right towards them, which was Serena's black bag she always carried to
school.
"Eeeeeeeeek!!!" the bullies shouted as they backed away and just avoided being
crushed by the bag. They eventually climbed up over the bag and looked at the
giant Serena as she laid down on her side on the bed.
"Come on, guys. Let's all start screaming and get that girl's attention." Yodo
said.
"Seriously!? What if she plays with us just like Rini did?" Toshiro said.
"Come on, she's a teenager. She's probably too old to play with, I quote, action
figures." Yodo said.
"Whatever you say, boss." Sanjiro said.
"Hey, over here!!!" all three boys shouted, along with variations of that plea
for help.
Serena stirred around in the bed, wondering where the tiny voices were coming
from.
"Huh? I'm hearing voices all of a sudden… I don't think I'm dreaming." Serena
said. Finally she looked over at the dresser, where she focused her vision on
the three shrunken boys jumping up and down on top of her black bag.
"Oh my…" Serena said as she got up from her bed and walked towards the dresser,
looking down at the three boys.
"Help us! Rini shrunk us!" Yodo shouted.
"Hmmm… too realistic to be toys, or action figures." Serena said.
"Ugh… what an airhead! She's not going to help us!" Sanjiro shouted.
"Shhhhh… shut up, Sanjiro!" Yodo said.
"Oh, an airhead, am I? I got one way I can find out if you're real or not."
Serena said. She then raised a hand high above the three boys, who immediately
got a hint on what she was planning to do.
"Eeeeek! Don't crush us!" all three boys shouted.
But soon, they were saved by the tones of the giantess who shrunk them in the
first place. Rini walked into the bedroom after finally finishing her
sandwiches, where she saw Serena preparing to seemingly hand crush the three
bullies. She knew they were bad, but no way did they deserve to die, she
thought.
"Serena, stop!!!" Rini shouted as loud as she could.
"Huh, Rini?" Serena said, watching as Rini walked over and picked up the three
boys.
"Don't crush them! They're… well…" Rini said, trying to think of how she was
going to fool Serena much like she fooled Ikuko earlier. Serena, however, was
quick to realize what had happened.
"Wait a minute… Rini, did you shrink those three kids?" Serena asked.
"Well, yes… but they were bullying me! They even dumped mud on me at school! I
was just going to teach them who the bigger one was for a little while." Rini
said.
"So let me get this straight. You shrunk those three boys from school because
they were bullying you?" Serena said.
"Yes… I'm sorry! It's just this one time, I promise! I know you said not to
shrink anyone after what I did to you and your friends. I was going to grow them
back once I felt they learned their lesson…" Rini said, referring to the events
of Doll Play 2.
But Serena's next reaction was not what Rini was expecting.
"That's so cool!" Serena said.
"Huh? You're not mad at me?" Rini said.
"Well, I always wished I could shrink the bullies I had when I was at your grade
level. Now it's come true, in a manner of speaking." Serena said with a smile on
her face.
"OH NO!!!" all three bullies shouted, now knowing that Serena was not going to
save them as they predicted.
"Well… okay then." Rini said, smiling herself thinking she was out of the clear
for now.
"So how long have you been playing with them?" Serena asked.
"Oh, a couple hours. As I said, it was after school when they dumped mud on me,
and that's when I shrunk them." Rini said.
"Wait… I guess you changed your Luna Ball into your shrink gun? Aren't you
supposed to keep that a secret from everyone else?" Serena said.
"Well, yeah... but I was so mad! I couldn't think clearly after they did that to
me. But you know what? I don't think anyone will believe them. Right, boys?"
Rini said as she leaned in as close as she could to the boys, who nodded their
heads quickly out of fear.
"So what have you done with them?" Serena asked.
"Well, so far I've chased them pretending like I was going to crush them. I've
juggled them like a clown does with balls… that's actually pretty much it. The
scared looks on their faces is enough for me, I'll be honest." Rini said.
"Well, since they did dump mud on you, I think it's only fair we return the
favor to them." Serena said.
"Huh? But we don't have any mud in the house." Rini said.
"No, but I have a better idea. I'll be right back." Serena said. That's when she
walked out of the room, leaving Rini with the three shrunken boys. The
pink-haired one meanwhile picked up the boys from Serena's bag and sat down on
the bed with them firmly in her hands.
"Teehee… you made a big mistake trying to get Serena's help. No pun intended, of
course!" Rini said.
"Please, I'm begging you for the last time! Unshrink us now and we'll never
bully you again!" Yodo said.
"Pfffft… too bad. You should've thought of that before you started to pick on
me." Rini said.
A couple minutes later, Serena returned holding a glass cup in one hand and a
bottle of water in the other.
"Okay, Rini. Let's see how well your little bully friends can swim." Serena
said.
"Ooooh! Good idea!" Rini said. She quickly dropped the three boys inside the
glass cup, who screamed as they landed on the surface with a thud. They quickly
got on their feet and looked helplessly at the two giantesses looking down on
them with no way to escape.
"Alright, Serena! Pour the water! I'm excited to watch!" Rini said.
"You got it!" Serena said as she opened up the bottle of water and tilted it
towards the glass.
"Look out!!!" all three boys shouted as they watched the water come surging down
like a tidal wave on the beach. The boys had no chance against the water as it
filled up and circled its way around the cup. At times they would get pushed
beneath the water by the 'waterfall' pouring from above, causing them to cough
profoundly as they tried to clear their lungs of the liquid. Finally, the cup
was almost completely full and the two girls watched the shrunken boys swim all
around the water trying to stay afloat.
"Teehee… this is fun to watch, I must admit. It's like watching a Japanese
beetle trying to stay afloat in a puddle from a rainstorm." Rini said.
"I agree! I'm kinda glad I get to share in your fun, Rini. Like I said, I wished
as a kid I could do this to my bullies." Serena said.
"Gee, sorry I didn't arrive from… er, out of town, much sooner!" Rini said,
almost giving away her other big secret of being from the 30th century in front
of the bullies.
"So what now? Are we just gonna watch them swim for their lives?" Serena said.
"Not quite, I have another way I can scare them silly." Rini said as she picked
up the glass of water. Immediately, as she was moving the glass towards her
mouth, she could hear the boys screaming for their lives.
"No! Please don't swallow us!!!" all three shouted.
"Now be careful, Rini!" Serena said.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to do much. Just this…" Rini said. She then twirled
the glass ever so slightly back and forth, causing the water to swirl around
like a mini whirlpool. Given the tiny size of the bullies, they stood no chance
at fighting the current and helplessly twirled around with the water.
"And also this… this'll really get them shaking!" Rini said. That's when she put
her lips against the water itself and took small sips of the liquid into her
mouth. They may have been small to Rini, but to the three boys, the sound of
Rini sipping the water was deafening to their ears. Not to mention the fact they
had to swim against the strongest current yet thanks to Rini sucking the water
in like it was a black hole.
Rini took a few more sips, coming very close to swallowing one of the boys in
the process, before she stopped and giggled.
"Teehee! Wasn't it fun watching them trying to scream for their lives!?" Rini
said.
"It sure was! That was pretty cool!" Serena said. Rini felt she had enough fun
with the boys in the water, and so with her fingers she plucked them out and
placed the soaking wet bullies on the bed next to one of Serena's legs.
"Awwww… look at them! They're soaking wet!" Serena said.
"Yep, of course!" Rini said.
"We better dry them off so they don't catch a cold or something." Serena said.
"But what can we use to dry them off?" Rini asked.
"I've got just the thing." Serena said. After a wry smile from the teenager, she
reached down for one of her socks and pulled it off her foot.
"Oh no! Anything but that!!!" Yodo screamed.
"Here it comes, little toy boys!" Serena said as she dropped the sock on top of
the three boys and rubbed it back and forth on them.
"Ooooooh! That's pretty mean!" Rini said.
"I know, isn't it!?" Serena said with a smile.
"Stop! Please! This thing stinks!!!" Sanjiro screamed.
"What's wrong? I thought you guys liked stinky and smelly things… like the mud
you dumped on me!" Rini said.
"Clearly they don't like it when the tables are turned." Serena said.
The rubbing lasted a short minute, but it felt like forever to the boys as
they were coughing and gasping for air.
"Oh, oh! That gives me an idea!" Rini said. That's when she kicked her red dress
shoes off her feet and, like Serena earlier, she took one of her socks off. This
time she put the sock aside and put her bare foot inches away from the
three-inch-tall bullies. She could see Toshiro and Sanjiro already covering up
their faces.
"Awwww, give me a break! My feet aren't stinky in the slightest!" Rini said.
"She's right, you know." Serena said. Then Rini reached down and placed one
bully each between her toes. When she squeezed her toes together, the boys
screamed as they felt the walls of flesh compressing them.
"Hey, very nice, Rini!" Serena said.
"I know! I'm glad I thought of it." Rini said with a smile. Serena just then got
another twisted idea.
"Awwww, does it hurt, guys? Let me kiss it and make it better." Serena said.
That's when she leaned in, despite the boys being trapped between Rini's toes,
and planted her lips over all three of them, almost drowning them in saliva and
covering them in a little lipstick.
"Teeheehee! I think they're a little too small for you, Serena." Rini said.
"I know, I know. I should save those kisses for Darien." Serena said with a
smile.
Just then, Serena's present day mother, Ikuko, came walking into the room
once more, looking at Rini who was playing with her 'action figures.' Despite
the fib, Rini still instinctively grabbed the three boys and trapped them inside
one of her hands.
"Rini, have you seen a boy named Yodo today, either at school or coming home?"
Ikuko asked.
"Well, I saw him at school, but why do you ask?" Rini asked.
"Well, I just got a call from his mother. Apparently he hasn’t come home yet and
she's very worried." Ikuko said.
"Oh, I see." Rini said. That’s when she knew her playtime with the boys was
over.
"That's terrible, Mom! I hope somebody finds him soon or he finds his way back
home." Serena said.
"Yes, I agree." Rini said.
"I hope so too. Maybe I should go out and help her look for him or something…"
Ikuko said. Rini then hopped off the bed.
"Don't worry, Mama! I'll go find them! We're good friends. Maybe he'll see me
and come out of hiding." Rini said, with Serena trying to hold in a laugh.
"Well, okay, but don't be gone too long. We're having dinner in about 30
minutes!" Ikuko said.
"Okay, Mama!" Rini said as she walked out of Serena's bedroom (putting her feet
back in her socks and red dress shoes in the process) and eventually out of the
house, her Luna Ball floating close behind.
After about 10 minutes of walking to a nearby park, and looking around and
seeing nobody nearby, Rini finally opened up her hand and gently dropped the
three shrunken bullies down on the grass. She stood back to her full height and
started bouncing her Luna Ball up and down.
"Kitty Magic! I want my growing gun now!" Rini said. After throwing the ball up
in the air, it transformed into a ray gun that looked very similar to the shrink
gun from earlier in the day, but Rini knew in her mind that the gun she was
holding was specifically designed to enlarge anything zapped by it. She next set
her sights on the shrunken boys.
"Now then, I hope you boys have learned your lesson regarding picking on those
smaller and weaker than you." Rini said.
"Oh, yes! Of course! We learned our lesson definitely!" the boys shouted, all
three nodding nervously.
"Good. Because if you pick on me or anyone else again, or even tell anyone what
happened today, I'll shrink you again, and next time you'll be even smaller. Got
it!?" Rini said, suddenly with an angry look on her face. Once again, the boys
quickly nodded. Rini now smiled.
"Alright, very good. Now hold still." Rini said as she aimed the growth gun at
the three bullies. She pulled the trigger and the laser surrounded the three
boys instantly. A few seconds later, they grew back to their original size.
"Woohoo! Alright, back to normal!" Sanjiro said.
"I'll never look at bugs the same way again…" Toshiro said. As Yodo stared over
at Rini, the pink-haired one just smiled.
"Now then. Run home to Mommy now, you three." Rini said.
"Come on, let's book it!" Yodo said. The three boys ran past Rini and sprinted
their way back to their homes. Rini looked down at her growth gun and then
dropped it, letting it change back to her Luna Ball.
"Yodo, we should tell the teachers tomorrow what happened!" Toshiro said.
"Don't be an idiot, Toshiro! Who would believe us!? We're gonna go find someone
else to torture!" Yodo said.
"Good idea! I missed taking someone's lunch money!" Sanjiro said.
"Well, that's done. Hopefully this time they mean it when they said they've
learned their lesson, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow, right Luna Ball?"
Rini said as the Luna Ball nodded up and down in agreement.
"Alright, let's go home!" Rini said as she skipped her way out of the park and
eventually back home with a beautiful sunset in the sky behind her.
