(BiggerBetterBarbie)
In the park, located a few miles away from the city, Eternal Sailor Moon had
put the finishing touches on the monster, using the Starlight Honeymoon Therapy
Kiss to heal the monster back into the lady that was transformed. The lady was
still down on the ground, knocked out from being transformed, but Serena simply
smiled.
"She'll be fine." Serena said. And so her job was done, and she did it all by
herself too. Of course, she wasn't alone. The Sailor Star Lights nearby watched
the battle scene play out, although they too departed when they realized there
was no need to intervene. This would prove to be bad timing for Sailor Moon. Only a minute after
walking away from the scene, a large portal formed in front of her.
"What's that!?" Serena shouted. Stepping out from this portal was none other
than Sailor Galaxia, villainess extraordinaire. Yeah, she was that bad. ^____^
"Well done, Sailor Moon. Well done on earning your victory." Galaxia said.
"You must be Sailor Galaxia..." Serena said.
"That I am. You're a magnificent fighter, Sailor Moon. It's a shame you
won't join my army." Galaxia said.
"I would never serve anyone as evil as you!" Serena shouted.
"Oh, I'm afraid you have no choice in this matter. Serve me, Eternal Sailor
Moon!" Galaxia shouted. She aimed her long staff at Serena, and she was blasted
by its energy waves, leaving her little time to react. Serena fell on her back
and watched as Galaxia laughed as her eyes began to blink.
"Ugh... I feel sleepy..." Serena said as she watched her vision fade out. She
then fell asleep entirely. Galaxia looked down at the fallen scout.
"It will only be a matter of time." Galaxia said to herself before she floated
back into the portal that she emerged from.
Some time later, Serena began to slowly change. Some of her senshi outfit faded out, strangely leaving her in an elegant light blue dress. Even more peculiar was the fact that her eternal wings remained. The dress and wings were her only items of clothing, leaving her bare-foot. But of course, the biggest change of them all (no pun intended ^____^) was that the park looked a lot smaller than before. That's because Serena was now at least 100 feet tall.
Eventually, Serena woke up once again. She rubbed her head, still enduring
some dizziness from Galaxia's spell.
"Ouch... that really hurt. Whatever it was that hit me." Serena said. She opened
her eyes and looked around.
"Where... where am I?" Serena said. Finally she looked over herself.
"Who am I? I feel so strange. I don't even know who I am." Serena
said. She then looked behind her back and noticed her wings.
"Wings? Am I... am I an angel from the heavens?" Serena said. If it isn't clear
to you by now, Serena clearly had her memories affected. Not only did she not
know where she was... she doesn't even know herself. She kept asking the
question in her head. Who was she exactly? Every time she fought back to the
past, it made her head hurt. She stood up to her full height, noticing how small
everything looked.
"Maybe I am an angel... everything looks so small." Serena said. She then
thought perhaps the best way to find out who she really was... well, start
walking! And so the giant Serena was on her way, continuously wondering if the
answers would be found in the city ahead of her.
In the outskirts of the park, three teenagers (two guys and a girl) were
sitting peacefully on the ground, having a picnic. They were having a fine time,
until of course the giant Serena came. The girl screamed out loud as she pointed
up at the angelic giantess. Somehow Serena picked up that scream and looked
down, stopping just short of walking over them.
"Hmmmm...? Little people?" Serena said out loud. As the three teenagers got up
and scrambled to get away, Serena reached down and picked up one of the boys who
wasn't fast enough to escape.
"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you." Serena said. Despite that peaceful plea,
the man still screamed for his dear life. Serena knew pleading her case wasn't
going to work, so she tried a different method.
"No, really. I promise I will be careful. In fact, I'll prove it to you." Serena
said. She opened her mouth wide and dropped the poor man inside. His friends
simply watched in horror as they think he has been swallowed alive.
"There, now you will be safe in there." Serena said. What she didn't notice
during all this was that she had gained another 10 feet in height. It seemed one
perk of her new power was that the more fear one person showed towards the
giantess... the bigger she would grow. Serena rubbed her stomach.
"I will take good care of you. I should perhaps do the same for other scared
people I find." Serena said. While she was talking to herself, she didn't notice
the other two teenagers running away towards the city.
At the Hino Shrine, the other four inner scouts were either studying for
their next big test or wondering where Serena was (in the case of Raye since she
didn't go to the same school as the other girls).
"Sigh... I wonder where meatball head is!? It's just like her to miss a studying
session!" Raye shouted.
"And just when I thought she was turning her life around for the better..." Luna
said, sighing along with Raye.
"Now now, Luna, you know how much more responsible Serena is. Well, most of the
time anyway." Artemis said.
"That's true. Perhaps someone should check on where she is." Amy said.
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about Serena. She'll surely be here soon." Lita said.
"I'd like to hope so!" Mina shouted. Shortly after that, Lita looked outside the
shrine and was the first to notice two teenagers running frantically. She just
picked up what they were shouting as they ran by.
"Man, what are we gonna do? That giant lady just ate Justin!" the man said.
"I don't know. We better find the sailor scouts, or someone!" the woman said.
"Whoa... did you guys hear that?" Lita said.
"It could be Galaxia's biggest plan yet!" Mina shouted.
"I wonder what it looks like... maybe we should check the news." Amy said.
"Good idea." Raye said.
And so all the girls run inside the shrine with Raye turning the television
on. Sure enough, there was a breaking news report playing on screen. But there
was a collective jaw drop in the room when they saw who the giantess was.
"No way! That's..." Mina shouted.
"We're now able to give you a clear view of the giantess! As you can see, she's
got two pigtails with hair wrapped like odongo on top. What's even more
astonishing is the short dress this young woman is wearing... along with angel
wings! I've never seen anything like it!" the news lady said.
"This is clearly the work of Galaxia!" Artemis shouted.
"I know, but how? How did she do it?" Lita said.
"You know what's weird? Look at her eyes, and the way she's moving. It's like
she's trying not to hurt anything." Amy said. She was pointing out the slow
moving of Serena through the city, and her being curious as she looked inside
the glass buildings.
"Even so, you must save her, sailor scouts!" Luna shouted.
"If she doesn't crush us first. Come on, team!" Raye shouted. Soon, all the
scouts ran outside and transformed into their super sailor scout selves. They
all ran into the city, where the closer they got, the better they could see
Serena.
It wouldn't matter, though, as Serena was slowly gobbling up more scared
folks as she walked down the streets, her wings scraping the sides of the
buildings. With each person she ate, the bigger she got. She was now a little
over 150 feet tall, and the people weren't feeling any less scared as she slowly
grew.
"I'm feeling kind of hungry. I should probably find some more people to
protect." Serena said. That being said, she looked down by her bare feet and saw
someone jumping into a car. She got down on her knees and picked up this car,
holding it up to her eyes. As soon as the man inside started screaming, she
instinctively ripped off the front windshield with her fingernails.
Unfortunately, her nails dug a bit too deep and she ended up striking this man
(as did the broken glass from the windshield) in the chest. He was bleeding like
mad as she pulled him out. As she did this, another man stuck his head out the
window of another building, one half the height of Serena.
"Hey, stop that! You're killing him!" the man said. It was at that point when
Serena looked to see the man he grabbed was already dead; nothing more than a
bleeding corpse. Nevertheless, she threw the body into her mouth anyway and
swallowed. Another 10 feet for her. Then she looked down at the angry person.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." Serena said.
"Why do you have to attack us, giant angel!? What the hell are you doing here!?"
the man shouted. After hearing that last question, Serena's eyebrows flinched a
little. Suddenly, she had an angry look on her face.
"Hey!!! That was very mean! I shall punish you on behalf of the heavens!" Serena
shouted. She raised her foot way up in the air and actually managed to crush the
entire building (inspiration)!
Aside from being amazed over how high she got her foot into the air, she
couldn't believe the sense of power she felt... and more importantly, how
quickly that faded away.
"Huh? I did that? Well, I suppose it's what the heavens would have wanted. I
must not let that bother me. Every action I take is for the betterment of
mankind." Serena said. Anxious to move on from that little episode, Serena
proceeded further into the city.
The super sailor scouts continued their sprint into the city. Amazingly
enough, the damage was quite minimal, although it did pick up the closer they
got to the giant Serena.
"We must be getting close. I can tell from the damage increasing." Raye said.
"Well, you gotta admit... it's amazing not much has been torn up." Lita said.
"For now. Our luck's bound to run out soon." Mina said. When they came up to an
intersection, a giant foot suddenly slammed down directly in front of the
scouts.
"Watch out!" Amy shouted. All the girls hit the brakes as best as they could,
although Mina couldn't help but run into the foot. The ladies looked up and saw
it was the giant Serena as she was walking by. As quickly as the foot arrived,
it lifted up. The girls looked at the foot-shaped crater left behind in the
road.
"Man, talk about cutting it close." Lita said. Then Serena stopped, looking into
another building that was a little taller than her.
"Hey, now's our chance while she's distracted!" Raye said.
"Wait! It could be dangerous!" Amy said.
"Ummm... nothing personal, Amy, but it would be more dangerous not to do
anything!" Mina said, still shaking the cobwebs out of her head after running
right into the back Serena's foot.
"Alright, let's go!" Lita said as she went running towards the giant Serena.
Raye and Mina followed while Amy just shook her head.
"I just hope Serena doesn't step on us." Amy said. Finally she went
running too.
Serena stopped in front of the slightly taller glass building then something
caught her attention from the corner of her eye. Inside, she could see a man and
a woman arguing with each other. Both were apparently oblivious to the giantess
that was staring right at them, but Serena did not like what she was seeing. It
was after the man gave a little shove to the woman that Serena felt the impulse
to react. She pounded her hand through the glass, shattering it into many
pieces. After grabbing both people from the building, she seperated them by
holding the man in her right hand and the woman in her left. She clearly looked
displeased as she stared at the man.
"How dare you hurt this poor defenseless woman!?" Serena shouted.
"No, please! I didn't mean to..." the man said, but that's all he could get out
before Serena closed her hand into a fist, squeezing him tightly.
"Ack!!! You're... choking... me!!" the man said.
Meanwhile, several blocks away from the scene, Galaxia and one of her
compatriots, Sailor Iron Mouse, stood atop a building watching the giant Serena.
"Hahaha!!! Your plan isn't working as planned, master! Chu!" Iron Mouse said.
"True... but we still hold the advantage." Galaxia said.
"Really, chu?" Iron Mouse asked.
"She's slowly getting bigger with every soul she devours. Eventually, it won't
matter if she still has a heart of goodness. She'll be far too big for even the
city." Galaxia said.
"Ooooh... I like it! Everyone will be mouse-sized in her eyes! Chu!" Iron Mouse
said.
"I'll mouse size you if you don't shut up! Keep an eye on the giantess and make
sure those Starlights don't interfere." Galaxia said.
"Absolutely! I shall call you on any further developments! Chu Chu!!!" Iron
Mouse said. Galaxia just rolled her eyes, always disgusted with Iron Mouse's
childish attitude. Then she opened up a portal and teleported out, leaving Iron
Mouse behind to watch all the action.
The sailor scouts finally caught up to Serena and watched as she was
torturing the poor man.
"What is she doing!?" Raye shouted.
"It's not like Serena to torture a poor man like that." Lita said.
"Serena! It's us! Down here!" Amy shouted. While that was going on, Serena
seemed to have enough of the squeezing, loosening her grip on the man as he
caught his breath.
"Accept your fate!" Serena shouted as she simply let go of the man, letting him
supposedly to his death. The scouts watched as the screaming man drew closer to
them.
"I got him! I got him!" Lita said, with Amy running nearby to help. Both ladies
were successful in breaking the man's fall.
"Whew! He's alright... still stunned, obviously." Amy said.
"Hey, this guy looks like one of my old boyfriends." Lita said.
"NOT NOW, LITA!!!" the other sailor scouts shouted.
"You better get out of here. We'll take things from here." Mina said to the man,
who just nodded and quickly jumped to his feet, fleeing the scene.
Up above, Serena focused her attention on the woman she had saved. As she
looked at her, the woman spoke up.
"Thank you... my husband has been very abusive the past month. I was too scared
to leave him on my own." the lady said.
"I strongly believe this is what this planet deserves. Now, if you don't mind,
I'd like to protect you." Serena said.
"Protect me?" the lady said.
"Don't worry. This will not hurt you." Serena said. That's when she opened up
her mouth and dumped the woman inside. As soon as she gulped her down, Serena
grew another ten feet, pushing her to just over 200 feet tall. She looked down
to see what had become of the abusive husband, only to see her fellow sailor
scouts down at her feet.
"Oh, hello. You girls are brave to be standing so close to me." Serena said as
she got down on her knees. The girls had to dodge several strands of Serena's
hair as they came to rest on the broken pavement. Amy continued pleading up to
her supersized friend.
"Serena! Don't worry... we're gonna save you!" Amy shouted.
"Serena? Is that... is that my name?" Serena said. The scouts were surprised to
hear this come out of her mouth. Raye, of course, thought she was kidding.
"Come on, meatball head! Don't play games with us! This is serious now!" Raye
shouted.
"Meatball head? Okay, so what's my name, really? Serena or Meatball Head?"
Serena asked.
"Oh wow... this may be harder than we thought." Lita said.
"Amy, what's going on!?" Mina shouted.
"She must've lost her memories somehow when Galaxia cast whatever spell it was
on her. She probably doesn't even recognize us..." Amy said.
"So what do we do... hey!!!" Raye said, but she suddenly felt herself being
lifted into the air. Serena had grabbed her!
"You know... you with the black hair. You seem like a nice young lady."
Serena said as she held Raye up against her face. The other girls gasped in
shock.
"Raye... nice!? When does that ever happen?" Lita shouted.
"Hey, I heard that! Now put me down, Serena! I said put me down!" Raye said.
"You mustn't struggle. I'm a guardian angel. I have the natural ability to be
careful with everyone I touch, should I choose to do so of course." Serena said.
"Yeah, well I have natural powers too! Mars Flame Sniper!" Raye shouted as she
used her free hands to form her fiery bow and arrow. She shot an arrow right at
Serena's right odongo. As it slowly lit up in flames, a little bit of classic
Serena peeked through that gigantic and angelic self of hers.
"Owowowowowowowow!!!!!" Serena said as she jumped up and ran down the street,
dropping Raye in the process, although she was able to land on her feet. The
girls watched as Serena ran up and down the street trying to brush the fire out
of her hair. Of course, the girls had to get out of the way every time the giant
Serena came stomping their way.
"Nice going, Raye!" Lita said, looking very displeased.
"What? She's always calling me a hot head? I thought I'd return the favor!" Raye
said.
"Well, we know one thing... the Serena we know is in there somewhere." Amy said.
"How can you tell, Amy?" Mina asked.
"I've been Serena's friend for a very long time. I know how she reacts to these
types of things." Amy said.
"That's good thinking, Amy, but it still doesn't explain how we can release her
from the spell." Lita said.
"I know... I'm still thinking." Amy said. Worse news for the girls, Serena was
successful in putting the fire out, and when she looked back at her fellow
sailor scouts... she looked super ticked off.
"Traitors! You'll regret ever defying the heavens!" Serena shouted as she
stormed back towards them.
"Any more bright ideas, anyone?" Lita said.
"We have to slow her down somehow! Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" Mina shouted as
she blew her kiss and sent her golden hearts of pure energy up at Serena. But
she could easily see the attack coming and she just deflected with a slap of the
hand.
"*gulp* Okay, not good..." Mina said.
"My turn! Jupiter Oak Evolution!" Lita said as sharp glowing leaves revolved
around her and then went flying up at Serena who was closing in fast. Amy
contributed as well.
"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" Amy said. But again, both attacks were deflected. And
Serena was on top of the girls as she swept her hair down, knocking them all
backwards.
"Ouch... that one hurt, even for me!" Lita said.
"Alright, we're gonna have to strike her all together!" Raye said.
"But..." Amy said, not wanting to attack her dearest friend.
"She's right. Let's do it everyone! Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" Mina shouted.
"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" Amy said, having to reluctantly join in the group
attack.
"Mars Flame Sniper!" Raye shouted.
"Jupiter Oak Evolution!" Lita said. All the attacks went flying up towards
Serena and shone brightly being so close together. It was a sign of the sailor
scouts using all the energy they could working together. But instead of knocking
the energy to the side, Serena grabbed it all... and effortlessly crushed it in
her bare hand.
"No way! She just grabbed it and crumpled it like a piece of paper!" Mina said.
"I'm sorry, ladies, but I'm done playing with you. I must be moving on, but
first..." Serena said. Before the girls could get away, all four were scooped up
into the giantess's hand. Amy made one last plea being closer than ever to
Serena's face.
"Serena! You're a sailor scout... just like us! You have to fight the magic!
Fight the magic!" Amy shouted. Serena shook her head.
"I am not a sailor scout. I am an angel from the heavens, and this is your
fate." Serena said. With that, she swallowed all four sailor scouts. Picking up
40 feet in height from the group meal, Serena now stood at 250 feet tall, and
she could tell she had grown too.
"This city is getting smaller and smaller with every passing minute. I suppose I
will soon have to find another city to either protect or destroy." Serena said
as she kept on walking.
From atop a building, the Sailor Starlights had just witnessed the other
sailor scouts getting swallowed by the giant Serena, and they watched as she
grew a little more as well.
"Just as we suspected. Not even the other scouts could save Serena from
Galaxia's hand." Star Maker said.
"It's no surprise. This is Galaxia's most powerful spell yet." Star Healer said.
"Nevertheless, we must save Sailor Moon." Star Fighter said.
"But Seiyu, our mission..." Star Healer said.
"Finding the princess and the star seeds can wait. We cannot succeed without the
services of Sailor Moon." Star Fighter said.
"As always, you're right. But how can we save her?" Star Maker asked. Star
Fighter just nodded.
"All we have to do is work together. Come on." Star Fighter said. She and the
other two Starlights hopped from building to building, heading for the angelic
giantess.
The other sailor scouts, after what seemed like they had been falling
forever, landed inside the soft, fleshy pink walls that made up the inside of
Serena's stomach. They looked around their sticky prison.
"Ugh... I think I'm gonna be sick." Raye said.
"Now I know how bread crumbs feel!" Mina said.
"Hey, look!" Lita said, pointing in the direction of the various people that
Serena had previously swallowed.
"These must be all the people Serena has swallowed since growing." Amy said.
"No, it can't be! Even the sailor scouts have been eaten!" one man said.
"Is there no hope for us all now!?" one woman shouted.
"Now calm down, everyone! I'm certain we will find a way out of this mess." Amy
said.
"Oh yeah? How are we going to do that, exactly?" Raye asked. Amy remained
speechless for a few seconds.
"I... I don't know. I have to think about that." Amy said.
"In other words, we better hope for a miracle." Lita said softly as she looked
up the long tunnel that everyone had dropped from.
Meanwhile, Serena just continued her mindless stroll through the city,
swallowing whoever it was that got in her way, claiming it was for their own
protection. She had grown to almost 400 feet tall now. Perhaps Galaxia's plan
would work after all, if Serena only grew much bigger. Standing in her way,
however, were the Starlights. After much hopping from building to building, they
stopped their running when they were just a few yards away from the giantess
herself. She certainly looked massive, especially since the building they were
standing on was more than half the height of Serena.
"This isn't going to be easy." Star Maker said.
"I wasn't asking for your opinion." Star Fighter said.
"I just hope we're doing the right thing. So how are we going to get her
attention?" Star Healer said.
"Like this. Star Serious Laser!" Star Fighter said as she shot energy beams at
one of Serena's legs. The other Starlights just watched. They trusted Star
Fighter in what she was doing. And sure enough, while Serena didn't wince in any
amount of pain, the beam was enough to get her attention as she looked straight
down at the building.
"Huh? You three look just like those other girls I swallowed? Are you related to
them?" Serena said.
"Serena, your mind has been poisoned by Galaxia. Allow us to heal you of your
injuries." Star Fighter said.
"Huh? Galaxia? What are you talking about? I'm an angel from the heavens!"
Serena shouted.
"If you truly wish to be a guardian angel to the people of this planet, you will
come with us." Star Fighter said.
"That's right! We can return you to your normal self!" Star Healer said.
"No! This is my normal self! I am happy like this! Perhaps you have been sent
from the underworld to defeat me!" Serena said.
"Okay, this isn't going over well." Star Maker said.
"My judgment is final. This is your fate." Serena said as she raised her bare
foot high into the air.
"Yaten! Taiki! Spread out!" Star Fighter shouted as the three Starlights jumped
off the building before they were stomped flat by Serena. All three landed
safely on the ground and looked a long way up at the mega-sized giantess.
"How dare you defy the heavens!? I'll see to it that you are crushed like
pancakes! Mmmm... pancakes." Serena said, briefly showing a bit of her old self.
"I'll lure her to the tallest tower in the city. I'll need to be there to
execute my plan. You two take the opposite sides." Star Fighter said.
"Gotcha, Seiya!" Star Healer said as the three took off running. Star Fighter
started running herself, and was glad to see Serena following her.
"Come back here you!" Serena said.
"Perfect..." Star Fighter said to herself.
Eventually, with Star Healer to the east and Star Maker to the west of the
Tokyo Tower, they both watched from atop their respective buildings as Star
Fighter kept on running down the roadway, with the giant Serena in close
proximity.
"Isn't it amazing that Seiya can outrun Serena as big as she is!?" Star Maker
shouted as she looked at Star Healer.
"Stay focused... the fact that Star Fighter hasn't told us of her plan makes me
a little nervous!" Star Healer said. Star Fighter eventually stopped her running
as close as she could to the tower itself, and she watched as Serena drew ever
closer.
"Well, looks like you've trapped yourself. You thought you could outsmart an
angel from the heavens?" Serena said.
"Sailor Moon, you will soon be free. I promise." Star Fighter said.
"Ha! Whoever Sailor Moon is, she cannot help you now. This is your fate!" Serena
said, once again raising a foot.
"Now, Starlights!!! Give it to her!!!" Star Fighter shouted as loud as she
could. Star Healer and Star Maker charged up their attacks upon receiving the
signal.
"Star Sensitive Inferno!!" Star Healer shouted.
"Star Gentle Uterus!!" Star Maker shouted. Various forms of energy blasted
Serena from both sides, causing her to stop her stomping motion and move her
hands to try and block the attacks.
"Huh? What!?" Serena said. And while Serena was distracted, Star Fighter was
quickly jumping up the Tokyo Tower, elevating herself with Serena's chest.
That's when, even while holding on tight to the structure, she charged up her
own attack, much longer than the other Starlights did.
"Star Serious Laser!!!" Star Fighter shouted, this time shooting a multitude of
energy beams. By the time the giant Serena saw them coming, she was hit dead
center.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!" Serena shouted in pain. She tried fighting them off, but was
eventually left motionless. Star Fighter just kept firing. And then... that's
when the Silver Crystal showed up. But the crystal was tainted with a dark black
aura as it slowly drew its way out of Serena's body.
"How... how can this be..." Serena said as she started to lose consciousness.
Finally, the mega giantess drifted backwards and landed on her back, severely
shaking up the city as she crashed down on the ground. The Silver Crystal slowly
drifted down until it too landed on the ground, between Serena's legs.
Sailor Star Fighter, along with Sailor Star Maker and Sailor Star Healer,
quickly jumped down from their positions. They all gathered in front of the
enlarged Silver Crystal, which clearly had the evil aura of Sailor Galaxia
glowing around it. Star Healer's first concern was Serena herself, who laid
unconscious on the ground.
"Is she..." Star Healer said.
"No, but there's not much time. Starlights, you must help me purge the evil from
this star seed!" Star Fighter said.
"Wait! Can't you feel the incredible power from this star seed!? This is the
thing we need to find our princess!" Star Maker said.
"And defeat Galaxia once and for all!" Star Healer said. But Star Fighter was
not about to sacrifice her dearest friend for their own personal gain. She
looked angrily over at Star Healer.
"Do as I say and save Sailor Moon!" Star Fighter said. And so all three
Starlights got to work, this time summoning their attacks in a calm sort of way.
They focused their energies on the Silver Crystal until all of the black aura
had disappeared. Then, the crystal started floating back towards Serena's chest.
The Starlights watched as the crystal re-entered her body.
"What's going to happen now? Did our magic work?" Star Healer said.
"For this planet's sake, I hope so." Star Fighter said. Then, Serena's stomach
area started to glow brightly. That's when several balls of light came flying
out. They landed all around Serena's body and each light, one by one, began to
reform as a person that Serena had swallowed earlier. That included, of course,
the other sailor scouts. They looked around wondering what just happened. The
Starlights, meanwhile, jumped up on top of a building as the roads began to get
a little crowded.
"Ugh... what happened? What was that intense light that just grabbed us?"
Lita said.
"I don't know. It's all a bit strange and mysterious, I must admit." Amy said.
"Look, Serena!" Mina shouted as she pointed at the giantess. The next thing that
happened was that she lost her wings, leaving her in the light blue dress. But
the most important thing... she was shrinking. The sailor scouts stayed close to
their friend as she dwindled in size, eventually returning to her normal height.
The girls had to jump into the crater left behind by Serena when she fell on the
road at over 400 feet tall.
"Serena! Serena! Please wake up!" Lita shouted.
"Come on, meatball head! You can't leave us now!" Raye said. And just like that,
Serena's eyes slowly opened up.
"Ummmm... what happened? Why is there this big hole in the road?" Serena asked.
"Oh, Serena!" Amy shouted as all the girls hugged Serena. The other people, who
were watching this whole thing play out, simply applauded. They were not just
glad that their lives were saved, but that Serena was alive and well.
"So what happened, and since when did I wear a beautiful blue dress like this?"
Serena asked.
"It's a long story, Serena. Trust me on that one!" Mina said.
"Wait! I remember now! Galaxia blasted me with some kind of spell! Where is
she!?" Serena shouted.
"Don't worry about her, Serena. I think she's retreated because another one of
her plans failed." Amy said.
"Y'know... I wonder who it was that helped save us all? It couldn't have been us
since we were stuck inside Serena!" Lita said.
"Wait, stuck inside me? Have you been daydreaming about Andrew again, Lita?"
Serena said.
"Ummmm..." Lita said.
"Like Mina said, Serena. It's a long story. We can tell you on the way home, if
you want." Amy said.
"Well, I guess I could find out what happened to me." Serena said.
"But Lita's right. I wonder who saved us... could it have been those Starlights
again?" Mina asked.
"I wish I knew, Mina. I wish I knew." Amy said.
From high above, the Starlights watched the whole thing play out. Star
Fighter smiled, knowing that Serena was okay. Star Maker and Star Healer still
feel a little disgusted, however, over the opportunity they just threw away.
"I hope you're happy, Seiya. That star seed may have been just what we needed."
Star Healer said.
"I have to agree. It could cost this entire galaxy dearly." Star Maker said.
Star Fighter kept her composure this time.
"If we made the wrong decision, we will deal with the consequences. We must
prepare, anyway. Galaxia still failed in her plan, and she will do whatever it
takes to rule this world." Star Fighter said. She then started jumping away,
with the other Starlights following close behind.
That night, Serena (in normal clothes finally) was walking along a bridge all
by her lonesome. She looked out at the damage in the city that she caused. Sure,
it was not her own doing as she was under a spell by Galaxia, but she still felt
bad over what had happened. It didn't matter how many times her friends
convinced her otherwise... she got an up close and personal sampling of what
Galaxia was capable of doing today.
"I didn't think there would be anyone here tonight." a voice said. Serena gasped
a little and looked to her right. That's where she saw Seiya, who she knew as
one of the members of Three Lights. Of course, her secret identity was that of
Sailor Star Fighter, the very one who led the Starlights to save her today.
"Oh... hi there. I... usually the bridge is quiet this time of day." Serena
said. After one more look at the night sky, she turned and looked over at Seiya.
"Listen, I'm sorry I didn't show up at the concert today." Serena said. Seiya
just nodded.
"There will be others. And besides... we had to cancel anyway. News of a giant
girl were all over the city today." Seiya said.
"Giant girl?" Serena said, gulping ever so slightly knowing that she was that
giant girl from earlier today.
"Yeah. Why, something happen?" Seiya asked.
"Oh, no... no. It's just... it was scary today." Serena said.
"I can't even imagine what was going through that girl's mind... seeing
everything so tiny compared to herself, including some of the city buildings."
Seiya said.
"I could." Serena said.
"Huh?" Seiya said.
"I mean... I've pictured myself like that in the past. I like to see myself as a
peaceful giantess. You know, someone who would walk very carefully, and help the
people no matter what crisis they faced." Serena said.
"Is that so?" Seiya said.
"Yes... because I love to help people. If I were big... I could help anyone I
wanted." Serena said. Seiya just smiled.
"That's very thoughtful. Perhaps one day that wish will come true." Seiya said.
"Yeah, right... I have more thoughtful wishes than that. Ones that are more
realistic." Serena said as she looked at the night sky again.
"I... I have a friend. A very close friend. He hasn't written or called me
since he left." Serena said.
"I see." Seiya said.
"Oh, I'm sorry. That was very rude of me." Serena said.
"No, no. The feeling is understandable. Listen, I should be going. The boys and
I need to practice for our next concert." Seiya said.
"Oh. Well, thank you. You've made me feel a little better." Serena said.
"I'm glad I did... I wouldn't want to see you hurt." Seiya said as he finally
walked away. Serena kept looking up at the night sky and sighed.
"If I could grow... then I could just walk to America. Then I could find you...
Darien. Please.... please come home." Serena said. Shedding tears as she
finished that thought, Serena did her best to wipe them off. She couldn't help
but crack a smile as she imagined herself in that light blue dress, 400 feet
tall and walking through American cities like Las Vegas or Dallas just to see
where Darien was exactly studying.
Serena shook her head. She couldn't let all these wild thoughts distract her. She had to be strong... Darien wouldn't have her any other way. After one final gaze at the bright stars, Serena turned away and walked home.
