Chibiusa (in her school uniform) slowly got up from Usagi's bed, only moments after having another daydream about being gigantic in the city.
"Hehe, being big is so fun... especially when you get to play with so many things there!" Chibiusa said. She walked all around Usagi's room, pretending there was an entire city at her feet rather than the usual carpet.
"Run away, little people! Here comes Chibizilla!" Chibiusa said. Luna, after a short yawn, simply watched Chibiusa walking around from Usagi's bed.
"I always thought Usagi had the biggest daydreams, but this beats all of them for sure." Luna said.
"Awwww, come on, Luna! You'd have a blast too if you were this big!" Chibiusa said.
"Well, maybe. I think I'll go downstairs and wait for Usagi to come back." Luna said. She jumped off the bed and left Chibiusa all by herself in Usagi's room.

After a few more minutes of imagining herself stomping on buildings left and right and picking up cars and trucks full of people, she could no longer resist the temptation.
"Alright, that's it! I don't care if Usagi or others yell at me later. I'm gonna be big again!" Chibiusa said. She walked towards the bed and picked up her Luna Ball. She started bouncing it up and down like she usually does.
"Kitty magic, I want my magic potion kit!" Chibiusa shouted. After throwing it up into the air, the ball quickly transformed into a little box, which Chibiusa caught and opened up to reveal several different-colored potions, almost forming a rainbow.
"Okay, here we go!" Chibiusa said as she very quickly got to work mixing the different potions together. She was going so fast, however, she wasn't watching what liquids she was picking up, and that was soon going to lead to disaster. By the time she finished making up the potions, she was looking at a green liquid in the bottle. Chibiusa stared at the bottle in front of her.
"Hmmm... I wonder if I should first go outside so I don't... nah, I want to see Usagi's reaction when I trash her room while growing!" Chibiusa said. Not wanting to wait any longer, not even wanting to test the potion on something else, Chibiusa tilted the bottle back and drank the entire liquid.
"Yuck! Next time, I think I'll make something that tastes like cherry, or something." Chibiusa said. She then walked over to Usagi's full body mirror, wanting to watch as her supposed growth spurt took place. She felt her stomach rumble, no doubt a reaction as the rest of her body took in the potion.
"Alright, look out everyone! The giant Chibiusa is coming to... huh?" Chibiusa said. But what she saw was not what she expected. She was instead getting smaller.

"What... no! I'm shrinking! Why am I shrinking!?" Chibiusa shouted as she watched herself get smaller and smaller in the mirror. Lost in Chibiusa's thought process was the fortunate news that her clothes were shrinking with her. But it didn't help when she looked down and saw the carpet coming up fast on her.
"Come on, stop! Stop please!!!" Chibiusa said as she continued to diminish in size. She was scared for a moment that she'd shrink out of existance almost! But luckily, she was far from that. When she got down to three inches tall, she felt the shrinking stop.
"Whew... thank goodness it stopped. But... no way." Chibiusa said. Just a few minutes ago, she imagined herself to be the biggest thing in all of Japan, but now, the only things she towered above at the moment were the strands of the carpet in Usagi's room.
"What happened? I'm sure I made the potion correctly..." Chibiusa said. Without having a clear mind, Chibiusa then started to simply walk around the room, seeing how much bigger everything looked. Chibiusa was quite captivated, she didn't even notice she was about to bump into one of Usagi's stuffed animals that was still on the floor.
"Ooof!" Chibiusa said as she bumped into the plushy toy. She looked up at it as it towered over her with ease.
"(sigh) This is no fun. I've got to find a way to get back to normal, but how?" Chibiusa said. Just then, Chibiusa heard a voice come from outside the room.
"Everyone, I'm home!" Usagi shouted. Chibiusa gasped.
"Oh no! Usagi! I can't let her see me like this!" Chibiusa said.

Downstairs, Usagi walked into her home and looked around. Wearing one of her summer outfits, a blue miniskirt with sleeveless pink shirt, the first thing she wondered was where everybody else went.
"Huh? Where is everyone?" Usagi said.
"They went shopping. They should be back soon. Chibiusa's upstairs though." Luna said.
"What!? Why didn't you warn me they were going shopping? There was this new dress I wanted to buy..." Usagi said.
"Well, SOMEONE had to check up on Minako because she's been sick the past couple of days. How is she, by the way?" Luna asked.
"Oh, she'll be fine, after a couple days of bedrest and loving care from Dr. Artemis!" Usagi said, winking to Luna.
"Dr. Artemis? I hope you were kidding about that." Luna said.
"Hey, maybe one day you'll have to care for me when I'm sick!" Usagi said as she went up the stairs to head for her room.
"(sigh) She sure can be carefree for someone who protects the entire world." Luna said before she dozed back into her catnap.

Chibiusa, meanwhile, was running around the room, trying to find a place to hide. But being only three inches tall, she couldn't cover much ground.
"Arrrgh! Stupid shrunken size! I can hardly move anywhere being this small!" Chibiusa said.
"Chibiusa, I'm back!" Usagi said, her voice sounding louder than ever. And that was because she was now in her room. Chibiusa gasped seeing how big her future mother looked... almost 100 feet tall she guessed.
"She's so huge..." Chibiusa said.
"Huh? Chibiusa? Where are you?" Usagi asked. As she took her first steps into her room, she of course had no idea she was about to step on Chibiusa herself.
"Yikes!!!" Chibiusa shouted as she ran to her right and was just able to get away from Usagi's huge bare foot. There was a soft boom as the carpet crushed underneath the weight of Usagi's foot. When the foot moved away, Chibiusa took the time to catch her breath.
"Geez, that was too close!" Chibiusa said. After finally finding cover with one of the table legs, she watched as Usagi walked around the room and eventually opened up her closets.
"Chibiusa, you're not playing hide and seek with me, are you?" Usagi said. When she didn't see Chibiusa there, she sighed, but didn't panic. She thought about where else she might possibly be.
"Maybe she's over at Darien's. She likes to be with him, as much as me almost. Or maybe she snuck out to go shopping with the others. Oh... that little brat if she did that!" Usagi said. She then sat down and picked up her nearby phone, dialing up Darien. But instead of a hello, Usagi heard Darien saying he couldn't come to the phone right now but to leave a message at the sound of the beep. Once she heard the beep, Usagi started talking.
"Hey, sweetie pie! This is your meatball head calling. I was wondering if Chibiusa was there with you, because she wasn't in my home. Call me back as soon as you can. Bye!" Usagi said before hanging up. She then laid down on her bed, with her feet still touching the floor.
"I'm sure Chibiusa's fine... *yawn* so sleepy..." Usagi said before she too dozed off.

Chibiusa watched as Usagi walked around and talked to herself. She was particurly insulted by the little brat comment Usagi had just made.
"Arrrrgh! If only I weren't shrunken, I'd show Usagi a thing or two!" Chibiusa said. She stared at the 'giantess' as she went down on her bed with her feet still on the ground.
"(sigh) No, I have to show myself to her. I can't get back to normal all by myself. I mean, someone has to make the antidote after all. I'll have to take my chances with Usagi." Chibiusa said to herself. Taking a deep breath and feeling her confidence in herself rising, Chibiusa walked out from underneath the table and slowly approached the gigantic Usagi. It took a couple minutes, but Chibiusa made it to Usagi's bare feet. She looked as Usagi would occasionally wiggle her toes around.
"Well, here goes nothing..." Chibiusa said as she jumped up on Usagi's foot. Then came the challenging part, and that was climbing Usagi's leg. Chibiusa grabbed as much skin as she could and slowly ascented towards the top. Just before she could reach Usagi's knee cap, Chibiusa could hear a slight moan out of her, and then she looked to see her other foot approaching her.
"Oh no!!" Chibiusa shouted, she was forced to let go out of fear of the giant foot coming, but she landed on the toes of this foot, and Chibiusa held on as the foot was scratching the other leg, the same one that Chibiusa was climbing on earlier.
"Whew... it's a good thing I bailed out of that climb. Whoa!" Chibiusa said. A sudden push upwards caused Chibiusa to lose her balance, but luckily, she was back on that leg. Watching as the other leg went back down to the floor, Chibiusa looked the other way and saw she no longer had to climb the rest of the way. She could walk towards Usagi's face now.
"Wow... I was pretty lucky there." Chibiusa said. She spent the next couple minutes traversing across the vast amount of land that was Usagi. She hopped on top of the miniskirt and crossed that, now walking across the pink shirt. It was a good thing for Chibiusa that Usagi's arms weren't blocking her path. When she was standing on Usagi's chest, she thought about trying to call for Usagi from there, but thought better of it.
"No, I have to go all the way if she wants to hear me." Chibiusa said to herself. That's when she ran a bit downhill towards Usagi's neck, eventually coming to stop there and now climbing up to her chin. Finally, Chibiusa made it to Usagi's nose, almost getting blown away as both her nostrils blew out a stream of warm air.
"Ick! Disgusting!" Chibiusa said. But she rounded around the nostrils and climbed to the top of the nose. And that's when she started to make her presence known.

"Usagi! Usagi!!" Chibiusa shouted. It seemed to have worked, as Usagi moaned a bit and opened her eyes.
"*yawn* Chibiusa, is that you? I'm glad you're back and..." Usagi then picked herself up, with Chibiusa holding on tight to her nose. Usagi noticed how Chibiusa was still clinging onto her nose, but not by much, and she knew from that point something was wrong.
"Chibiusa... what are you doing?" Usagi said.
"Usagi... help! I'm losing my grip... aaahhh!!" Chibiusa said before she finally slipped off Usagi's nose and started to fall down. Chibiusa tumbled down Usagi's shirt before landing down on her miniskirt. She looked up as Usagi was now looking down on her, getting her first look at the shrunken future daughter.
"Huh? What's this?" Usagi said.
"Usagi! Help me! I shrunk myself!" Chibiusa said.
"Shrunk? Are you sure I'm not dreaming?" Usagi asked.
"Well... let's see." Chibiusa said. She walked towards the skin of Usagi's left leg and tried to pinch it... but because of her size, she couldn't grab much of it.
"Darn! I'm so small I can't even pinch Usagi's leg!" Chibiusa shouted. Usagi couldn't help but giggle over what she was seeing.
"Hahaha!! I always knew you were a little brat, but this takes the cake!" Usagi said. Finally, she lifted Chibiusa up by her dress and held her to eye level. She watched as Chibiusa fought tooth and nail to free herself from Usagi's grip, but it was no use.
"Hey! Let me go! Don't hold me like that, meatball head!" Chibiusa said.
"Awww... and what are you going to do? Pinch me? Hahaha!!!" Usagi said. She felt so powerful holding the shrunken girl in her hand like she was, she couldn't help but laugh once more.

Soon though, her fun would totally be gone because Luna entered the room.
"Usagi, what's going on here?" Luna asked. Usagi gasped, and on instinct, closed her hand around Chibiusa to try and hide her.
"Luna! Don't sneak up on me like that!" Usagi said.
"What? It's never stopped me before. So what's going on? Is that something in your hand...?" Luna said. Usagi knew she couldn't hide anything important from Luna, and this was an important thing anyway. As much as Usagi would've liked to pick on an even smaller Chibiusa, she was gonna have to return to normal eventually. So Usagi got off the bed and got down on her knees on the carpet.
"Yeah... look at what happened to Chibiusa." Usagi said as she opened up her fist and revealed the shrunken Chibiusa.
"Owww.... that hurt being stuck in that fist!" Chibiusa said.
"Well sorrrrrrry, Chibiusa!" Usagi said, sticking her tongue down on her.
"Chibiusa? What happened here?" Luna asked.
"Well... I... well, you see... ummmm..." Chibiusa said. Usagi knew she was trying to cover up the real reason, but being so much bigger than Chibiusa right now, it was easy to boss her around.
"Come on, Chibiusa. Tell us the truth." Usagi said.
"Okay... I was trying to make a potion where I could grow bigger again. But I guess I went too fast and didn't use all the right ingredients." Chibiusa said. Usagi and Luna looked at each other, at first finding it hard to believe that Chibiusa would try to become giant-sized again.
"Well, you could've at least waited until I got home so I could grow too!" Usagi said.
"Usagi!!!" Luna shouted in anger.
"Joke, Luna! Just a joke!" Usagi said.
"Well, it doesn't matter how it happened. The important thing is trying to get you back to normal, Chibiusa." Luna said.
"The potion kit I made should still be on top of the dresser!" Chibiusa said. Usagi then tightened her grip on Chibiusa, much more carefully this time, and walked towards the dresser, where she saw the potion kit.

"Okay... so which potions do we use?" Usagi said.
"Um... for some reason, I can't remember!" Chibiusa said.
"What do you mean you can't remember? You used this kit to grow before!!" Usagi shouted.
"Ow... not so loud, Usagi!" Chibiusa said as she held both her ears.
"Okay, I'm sorry. Still, how could you forget what you used?" Usagi said.
"Maybe one of the potions I used in my haste to make the growth potion causes temporary amnesia. It seems to target certain memories in my head, I could never figure that one out." Chibiusa said.
"So how long does it last?" Luna asked.
"I don't know... maybe months!" Chibiusa said.
"Months!?" Usagi said, sounding shocked at that revelation.
"We don't have time... you are a sailor scout just like Usagi and the others! We need you to return to normal as soon as possible!" Luna said.
"Okay okay, I'm so sorry I tried to make a growth potion. I was just too excited, I wasn't paying attention!" Chibiusa said.
"Hey, that makes two of us. I've been guilty of being excited and, well... forgetting things too." Usagi said.
"Why, Usagi, how thoughtful of you to admit something like that." Luna said with a smile.
"Never mind. I think we better make the other sailor scouts aware of this... well, except for Minako. The last thing we want is for her to drag herself out of bed." Usagi said. As she carefully placed Chibiusa on the dresser next to the potion kit, she activated the watch-like communicator on her wrist. The first person she talked with was Ami.
"Ami, it's Usagi!" Usagi said.
"Oh, hello Usagi. What is it? Is there a problem?" Ami said.
"Well... yes. A rather small problem." Usagi said.
"Hey!" Chibiusa said, folding her arms in frustration.
"What was that?" Ami said.
"I'll explain everything soon. Can you, Rei, and Makoto meet up with me at my home?" Usagi said.
"Okay, we'll be right there!" Ami said.
"Thanks, Ami!" Usagi said.

A little later that day, Usagi heard the doorbell and left the little Chibiusa (with Luna watching her) behind in her room. Usagi came down the steps and opened the front door, greeting three of her best friends and fellow sailor scouts. Ami, who was wearing a light blue dress, was the brains of the group and definitely was qualified to think of a solution to Chibiusa's problem. Of course, there was also the hothead, Rei, who was wearing her gray school uniform. And there was the strong one, Makoto, who could probably lift a giant monster over her head if she were big enough! Despite it being the summertime, she was wearing long beige-colored pants and an orange sleeveless shirt.
"Oh, I'm glad you're all here!" Usagi said.
"Well, you did call for us, didn't you, meatball head?" Rei said.
"Now now, you two. Don't start now." Ami said.
"So, what's up? Ami told us you had a small problem?" Makoto said.
"Oh yeah, that's literally what's wrong. Come on, follow me." Usagi said. She allowed the three girls to enter her home, and then she closed the front door.

All four girls arrived in Usagi's room. Everyone except Usagi looked around, wondering what could possibly be wrong that caused Usagi (through the efforts of Ami) to call them together in this place.
"Okay... everything looks normal here." Makoto said.
"Nope, the problem is right here." Usagi said. That's when she walked towards her dresser and carefully picked up the shrunken Chibiusa. She held her in the palm of her right hand as she held it in front of the other three girls. Chibiusa, despite having to look up at some more giantesses, kept a positive attitude.
"Hello, everyone!" Chibiusa shouted, waving up at them.
"Chibiusa!? Is that really you?" Ami asked.
"Yep, it's me." Chibiusa said.
"Man, I never thought I'd see you shrink. Usually you're growing!" Makoto said.
"Hehe, I know." Chibiusa said.
"Usagi, did you have something to do with this!?" Rei shouted.
"What? No way! Go ahead and tell them, Chibiusa!" Usagi said.
"Yeah, it's all my fault. I was trying to recreate my growth potion, but I went so fast, I ended up making a shrinking potion instead." Chibiusa said.
"Well, that's no surprise! Usually I make a small goofup when I go too fast with my cooking." Makoto said.
"Chibiusa... that was very reckless of you. You should've exercised greater caution." Ami said.
"I know. I'm sorry!" Chibiusa said, lowering her head down.
"Well, can't you just make a growth potion to return to normal?" Rei asked.
"She would... but she thinks one of the potions she soooooo used in a hurry might have given her temporary amnesia. She can't remember how to make the potion, and she doesn't know when she'll remember!" Usagi said.

"Hmmm... that's strange. Usually you forget much more than just how to make a potion when you suffer from amnesia." Ami said.
"What do you mean, Ami?" Rei asked.
"Well, while it is true that temporary memory loss causes you to lose all the details on select things, it's very rare for just one thing like how to make one simple potion to be all that's forgotten." Ami said.
"And your point is?" Makoto asked.
"Chibiusa, I would like to study your potion kit, if you don't mind." Ami said.
"Well, okay, I guess." Chibiusa said.
"Wait a second... all that stuff is from the 30th century. How do you know you'll find info on something that far in the future?" Makoto asked.
"That may be true, but perhaps there are chemicals from this century that help make up the composition of these potions. Many of these chemicals..." Ami said, but was interrupted by Rei.
"Okay, you kinda lost me after chemicals from this century." Rei sayd.
"It's only a theory, I must admit. At the very least, I want to find out how we can cure this temporary amnesia spell that Chibiusa is under." Ami said.
"And where can you find that kind of info?" Usagi said.
"Well, on the internet, of course. I'm going down to Andrew's to do all this research. It's so great that he now has Wi-Fi..." Ami said.
"Hehe, that Andrew, he always has the coolest new things every day!" Usagi said.
"Usagi, can you please come with me and help me watch Chibiusa?" Ami asked.
"Huh? Why me?" Usagi said.
"Simple... because you're the one with the crazy ideas on how to play with a tiny Chibiusa." Makoto said with a smile on her face.
"Ooooooh... you three know me too well!" Usagi said, prompting a laugh from the other girls.
"Actually, why don't we all take turns at having Chibiusa? You know, to help pass the time until Ami finishes her research." Rei said.
"Yeah, I would love that!" Chibiusa said, jumping up and down on Usagi's hand.
"Well, alright. Not for too long, though. I say a maximum of one hour for each scout." Ami said.
"Fair enough. I gotta get home and change anyway." Rei said.
"And I need to get to work on my special chicken soup recipe for Minako." Makoto said.
"Right. Usagi, you hold onto Chibiusa. I'll take the potion kit." Ami said. While Makoto and Rei departed the room and Ami was gathering up her things, Usagi looked down at Chibiusa.
"Well, just you wait when it's my turn. It's gonna be a thrill." Usagi said with a smile.
"Gee, I can hardly wait..." Chibiusa said. Finally, she was slipped into one of Usagi's purses as she placed the strap on her shoulder.

Game Center & Fruits Parlor Crown

Usagi and Ami soon entered the combination arcade (where they were at now)/diner, and it wasn't too long when Andrew walked up to the two girls and greeted them.
"Hey, Usagi and Ami!" Andrew said.
"Hello, Andrew." Ami said.
"And how is our favorite arcade and diner operator today?" Usagi said with a big smile.
"Uh... just fine, Usagi. Really, everything's fine. Huh? What's with all that liquid, Usagi?" Andrew said.
"Um... well..." Usagi said.
"It's for a science project I'm working on. Don't worry, it's nothing dangerous." Ami said.
"Well, alright then, if you say it's nothing bad then I believe you." Andrew said.
"Well, we'll just be on our way upstairs. Thanks for the triple chocolate fudge shake!!" Usagi shouted as she and Ami started walking towards the stairs that would lead them to Fruits Parlor.
"Heh, that Usagi. No wonder Darien loves her so much..." Andrew said. He then went back to work watching over the arcade.

Upstairs, at Fruits Parlor, Usagi and Ami took their seats at an empty table. Usagi placed the potion kit on the table while Ami put her laptop there as well.
"Usagi, we should let Chibiusa out so she can get some air." Ami said.
"Yeah, you're right." Usagi said. She reached into her purse and pulled Chibiusa out, placing her on the table next to the laptop.
"Ugh, thank you for getting me out of there! You really need to clean up your purse, Usagi." Chibiusa said.
"What!? Come on, it wasn't that crowded in there! Why you..." Usagi shouted, and she started to lightly rub Chibiusa's hair with one of her fingers.
"Hey! Stop that!" Chibiusa shouted.
"Alright, you two, that's enough." Ami said. Chibiusa used her hands to straighten back up her hair.
"Like even..." Usagi said. Just then, Usagi and Ami had company at the table they were sitting at. It was a young lady with white slippers, a blue-and-white skirt, orange shirt, and orange pony-tailed hair with many bows on the clothing. She was Lizzie, Andrew's younger sister and one of the waitresses at Fruits Parlor. She was holding a notepad in her hands.
"Hi! Welcome to Fruits Parlor, can I take your order? Oh, hi Usagi!" Lizzie said. She had become familiar with Usagi after one day when Darien gave her a ride home.
"Lizzie! I haven't seen you in a while." Usagi said.
"Yeah, been kinda busy with school lately. So I guess you want the jumbo triple chocolate fudge shake, right?" Lizzie said.
"Wow... yeah. How did you figure that out?" Usagi asked.
"Come on, Andrew practically's figured out your eating habits by now!" Lizzie said.
"Well... I guess I do have that shake often..." Usagi said as she twiddled her fingers around. Chibiusa was giggling ever so slightly, but Usagi chose not to react this time.
"And how about you? Would you like anything?" Lizzie asked over to Ami.
"Oh, just some ice water, thank you." Ami said.
"Hey, can I have some water too? Can I, Ami? Huh?" Chibiusa asked. Unfortunately, she didn't take into account that Lizzie was standing right at the table (and therefore Chibiusa was maybe a yard or two away from Lizzie herself) and she heard that.
"Huh? What was that?" Lizzie said as she looked down at the tiny Chibiusa.
"Oh... um... please excuse my little doll here. She likes to repeat whatever I like to say." Ami said.
"Ah, okay. I thought for a moment that was an actual tiny girl in front of me. Maybe this summer heat is finally catching up with me." Lizzie said.
"Well, just do what I do and go to the beach sometime!" Usagi said.
"Yeah, good idea, Usagi! Well, I'll be back with your order!" Lizzie said as she walked away. Ami took a deep breath and finally looked down at Chibiusa with a somewhat stern look on her face.
"Chibiusa, please! We don't want to raise any suspicion!" Ami said.
"Yeah... I mean it's not everyday you see a three-inch-tall girl on a table." Usagi said.
"Gee, I'm sorry. I guess I forget this isn't normal." Chibiusa said.
"And neither is growing to the size of a city building." Usagi said.
"Oh, it's okay. Now then, Usagi, I'm gonna be scanning these potions now. Hold up the green one first." Ami said. At the same time, she pulled out a special pair of glasses that highly resembled her Mercury Visor.
"Well, whatever you say. Y'know, you look like you're from a sci-fi movie with that thing on." Usagi said.
"Thanks... I guess." Ami said.

Except for a quick break when Lizzie came back with the items the two girls ordered, Ami spent the next ten or so minutes scanning and then taking notes on each of the potions in Chibiusa's potion kit. The visor helped a little by identifying some of the known ingredients in each potion, but she still had a lot of researching to do. Thankfully, with the Wi-Fi inside the building, Ami was able to look up on all these items and a whole lot more. Chibiusa watched from the side as Ami rapidly hit several of the keys.
"Wow... I'm glad I'm not standing on those keys." Chibiusa said.
"I know, I once had a dream where myself and the other scouts were standing on those keys." Usagi said.
"Huh? Really?" Chibiusa asked.
"Yeah... this was after this one dream where Ami was really big." Usagi said.
"Oh, Usagi, please don't bring up that dream again... it's rather embarrassing." Ami said with a blush on her face.
"Haha! You're just saying that because you don't like growing as much as the rest of us." Usagi said.
"Well, maybe, but even so, I have always found that keyboard dream the most fascinating of the two." Ami said. As she continued typing away for the next couple of minutes, with Chibiusa switching between watching Ami do her research and Usagi gulping down her triple chocolate fudge shake (and being completely glad she wasn't a part of that shake), nobody seemed to notice Haruka and Michiru approaching their table.
"Doing a science project, Ami?" Haruka said. Ami was shocked by the sudden appearance; by instinct, she closed up her laptop and looked up at the two young ladies.
"Oh... Haruka! Michiru!" Ami said.
"So what's with the rainbow selection of drinks?" Michiru asked.
"Ummmm..." Ami said. She was trying to think of a cover-up story for what she was really doing, but Haruka was always a step ahead. She looked down and pointed at the shrunken Chibiusa.
"I take it she has something to do with it." Haruka said.
"Yes, she does." Ami said. Michiru kneeled down and held her face (and placed a hand) just above the table as she looked down at Chibiusa.
"Hey there, Chibiusa. So what's your story?" Michiru asked.
"She was trying to make herself gigantic again with this batch of potions." Usagi said.
"Oh I remember that." Haruka said.
"Yeah, you caused quite the ruckus that time." Michiru said.
"Hehe, thanks! I knew that would happen! You have pretty nails, by the way." Chibiusa said, noting the emerald-colored nail polish that she was wearing.
"Oh, thanks!" Michiru said.
"Anyway, she went so fast trying to make the potion, she ended up making a shrinking one instead." Ami said.
"Hmmm... tough break there." Haruka said.
"Yes, and I've been trying to come up with the antidote ever since. Usagi's helping me out and keeping Chibiusa safe." Ami said.
"Well, if anyone can protect Chibiusa AND find a cure for her condition, it's you two." Michiru said.
"Thanks... that's very encouraging." Usagi said softly.

"Come on, Michiru, we better get going for your violin practice." Haruka said.
"Oh, right. Well, we'll see you two around." Michiru said. She got up and followed Haruka downstairs.
"Bye!" Usagi, Ami, and Chibiusa all shouted.
"They seem so nice, don't they?" Usagi said.
"Yeah, I guess..." Ami said. Just then, both the watches on Usagi and Ami's wrists started beeping.
"I got it." Ami said as she pressed the button to answer. On the tiny video screen was Rei.
"Rei, hello!" Ami said.
"Hey, Ami. Listen, I don't want to sound like I'm rushing, but when can I expect to have Chibiusa?" Rei asked.
"Rei, get real! You should be patient... Ami's still doing her testing, and whatever." Usagi said.
"Actually, I think this is going to take a little while. We should begin the rotation of having our other friends hold onto Chibiusa." Ami said.
"Awwww... do we have to? I want to play with Chibiusa some more!" Usagi said.
"Don't worry, Usagi, you'll get your chance. She'll be right over, Rei." Ami said.
"Okay, thanks! Signing out." Rei said as her picture went out on Ami's watch.
"Yeah, you'll get your chance." Chibiusa said, before sticking her tongue out at Usagi. Usagi, frustrated with Chibiusa's reaction, quickly got up and looked right down on Chibiusa.
"Arrrrgh! Why you ungrateful little squirt!" Usagi said.
"Hey now! You gotta be nice to me... I'm still tiny, after all!" Chibiusa said.
"(sigh) Even when you're so tiny, you're still an annoying little pest..." Usagi said.
"Wait... who's going to deliver Chibiusa to the Hikawa Shrine?" Ami said. Usagi at first didn't say anything.
"Hey! I got an idea! Wait here!" Usagi said as she went downstairs to the arcade area, leaving Chibiusa with Ami for the time being.

Usagi made it downstairs, where she just caught Haruka and Michiru about to head outside. Naturally with the noise of the arcade games around her, Usagi had to really shout to get their attention.
"HARUKA! MICHIRU!!!" Usagi shouted. Luckily for her, it worked, and the two girls turned to look at Usagi as she was walking towards them.
"Whew... I'm glad I caught you two." Usagi said.
"What is it, Usagi?" Michiru asked.
"Hey, um... could you two do me a favor? Chibiusa has to be delivered to the Hikawa Shrine. Our friend, Rei, wants to look after Chibiusa for a little while." Usagi said.
"No problem. I can deliver her." Haruka said.
"Oh thank you! Thank you! Wait here... I'll get her." Usagi said.
After making it back upstairs, Usagi very gently grabbed Chibiusa.
"Okay, little squirt, you're going for a ride!" Usagi said.
"Usagi... make sure they are very, very careful with Chibiusa." Ami said.
"I know, I know." Usagi said before walking back downstairs, covering Chibiusa so that nobody else could see her.

Outside the building, Usagi watched as Haruka got into the driver's seat of her red convertible with Michiru still standing on the sidewalk near the car. She approached Michiru and showed the tiny Chibiusa in front of her.
"Well, here she is. Pleeeeeease promise me you'll be careful with her!" Usagi said. Michiru held her hands out and allowed Chibiusa to jump onboard.
"Well, I hope you'll forgive me for the pun, but she is in good hands." Michiru said.
"Yeah... okay then." Usagi said. She took a couple last looks at Chibiusa before walking back inside. The way she softly spoke those last words, Michiru felt she was deeply concerned for Chibiusa's well being. Knowing that, Michiru smiled as she looked down on Chibiusa.
"So, ready to go for a ride to the temple?" Michiru said.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Chibiusa said, keeping up her high spirits.
"Okay then." Michiru said. She opened the other door of Haruka's car and jumped into the passenger's seat. She placed Chibiusa on her lap as she buckled up.
"Hold on tight." Michiru said. Chibiusa nodded, and then Michiru nodded to Haruka, and she started the car up and drove off.

At least a few minutes later after driving through the city, Haruka and Michiru arrived at the base of the Hikawa Shrine.
"Wheeee! That was pretty fun." Chibiusa said. Haruka smiled down on Chibiusa.
"Any ride with me is pretty fun." Haruka said.
"Oh, Haruka. Anyway, let's go." Michiru said.
"I'll just wait here for you." Haruka said.
"Alright then, fine by me." Michiru said as undid her seatbelt and then opened the door. Gently grabbing Chibiusa with both her hands, Michiru stepped out, closed the door behind her, and walked up the steps to the shrine.
Once she reached the top, there was nobody around the outside of the shrine, so Michiru immediately assumed that everyone, or at the very least Rei herself, was inside. Michiru went up the steps at the shrine and knocked on the door. A few seconds later, Rei (now in her shrine outfit) opened the door and saw Michiru standing there.
"Oh, Michiru. What brings you here?" Rei asked.
"Well, let's just say I'm bringing you a close friend." Michiru said as she opened her hands and revealed the shrunken Chibiusa.
"Hi, Rei! I'm really, really glad to be with you." Chibiusa said.
"Oh, hi, Chibiusa..." Rei said.
"Usagi and Ami told me everything." Michiru said.
"Oh, okay. I'm just curious, don't you think it's strange to see Chibiusa like this?" Rei said. Michiru just shook her head.
"After seeing that little girl over a hundred feet tall not too long ago, on top of the monsters I see running around, I'm convinced that nothing is abnormal in the world anymore." Michiru said. Just then, both girls could hear a couple honks of the horn.
"I gotta go. Violin practice and Haruka's driving." Michiru said.
"Oh, of course. Thank you, Michiru." Rei said. Michiru bowed her head and then walked away from the shrine. Rei finally focused her attention on the tiny Chibiusa that was now sitting in her hands.
"So I guess you'll be doing some incantations today?" Chibiusa asked.
"No, I had something else in mind, especially with Chad and Grandpa away today." Rei said as she went back into her shrine and closed the doors behind her.

Rei walked into another room and kneeled down on the floor, placing Chibiusa down there as well. Chibiusa looked all the way up at the giantess that she was standing not too far from.
"So what are we going to do?" Chibiusa asked.
"Well, I've run low on my charms, both the good luck ones as well as the ones that ward off evil spirits. So I've been designing new ones." Rei said.
"Oh! Can I help? Can I pretty please help?" Chibiusa asked.
"Well... sure! I'll show you how to do it, after I get the supplies of course." Rei said. Standing back on her feet, with Chibiusa coming very close to Rei's sandals, Rei went to the nearby storage compartments and gathered the paper and ink needed to create her evil-spirit-defeating charms, known officially as ofuda. Once she had the many slips of paper and the bottle of ink, she placed both items on the floor, next to Chibiusa, before getting back on her knees. She then pulled a brush out that she had kept hidden in her outfit.
"Alright, just watch as I create one myself." Rei said.
"Okay!" Chibiusa said. She watched as Rei dipped the brush into the bottle of ink, which Chibiusa was very slightly taller than. Rei wrote the kanji on the paper with near-perfect precision, and at a very fast pace too. Chibiusa was quite impressed.
"Wow... you're so fast, Rei!" Chibiusa said.
"Well, I have been doing it for many years. It's natural for me." Rei said.
"I see." Chibiusa said, before she went back to watching Rei put the finishing touches on her first charm.
"And there you go. That's how it is drawn. Now you try." Rei said, placing a blank slate of paper below the charm that she had finished.
"Great, but how do I paint like this?" Chibiusa asked.
"Oh... right, I forgot. You're too small to hold a brush. Hmmmm..." Rei said. While she was trying to think of how the three-inch-tall Chibiusa could get in on the act, Chibiusa suddenly got an idea when she looked over at the bottle of ink.
"Oh, I got it!" Chibiusa said. Being just a little bit taller than the bottle, Chibiusa did something that would surprise Rei at first. She actually dipped her hands into the bottle.
"Huh? Chibiusa!" Rei shouted as she watched Chibiusa smother her arms (and part of her clothing) with ink. Chibiusa then ran over to the paper and tried her best to trace out the same pattern of kanji that Rei had made earlier. Of course, with ink trickling down her arms, it was more of a mess than ofuda.

Finally, Chibiusa finished placing the ink from her arms and clothes on the paper, resembling the original design as much as she could.
"So, what do you think?" Chibiusa asked with a smile. Chibiusa's design wasn't too close to the way Rei painted it, but Rei wasn't about to crush the shrunken Chibiusa's feelings.
"You did alright. I think you did alright." Rei said.
"Hehe, thank you, Rei!" Chibiusa said.
"Yeah, but never mind that. We better get you cleaned up before the ink dries up." Rei said. After pulling both the sleeves on her outfit back, she held a hand out and allowed Chibiusa to climb on. Once Chibiusa was in the palm of Rei's hand, the priestess quickly got up and walked into the kitchen and towards the sink. After placing Chibiusa down on the counter, Rei went into the nearby cabinets (using her clean hand) and pulled out a stopper to close up the hole in the sink where the water would always run down.
"There we go. You'll be safe now in the sink." Rei said. She turned on the water and carefully picked up Chibiusa with her dirty hand.
"Now hold still, Chibiusa." Rei said as she caught a little water with her other hand and then allowed it to drip all over Chibiusa, drenching her from head to toe.
"Hey! That water's cold!" Chibiusa shouted.
"Whoops, sorry. But you'll be fine." Rei said as she gently rubbed off the ink that was falling off Chibiusa's skin and clothing, just as she anticipated.
"Ah, wonderful. The ink was still at its highest wet point, so it's able to rub off easily." Rei said, noticing the ink on her own hands fall off as well.

Finally, a few minutes later after some more soft rubbing with Rei's gentle touch, Chibiusa was nice and clean again. She reached up with her free hand and shut off the water.
"There we go, nice and clean now." Rei said. She walked back into the room where she and Chibiusa had been working on the charms, and Rei placed Chibiusa down on the floor after she got back down on her knees.
"Feel fine, Chibiusa?" Rei asked.
"Yeah... I'm just wet, that's all!" Chibiusa said as she was patting her hair down.
"Here, maybe this will help." Rei said. She pulled out a piece of tissue paper that she also kept handy inside her outfit. She placed it down by Chibiusa's side, and the shrunken girl grabbed as much of the paper as she could, wiping herself of the water.
"Thank you, Rei! You're very handy!" Chibiusa said.
"Well, a priestess always has to be ready for anything." Rei said with a smile.

Shortly thereafter, Rei heard the door knocking once again. She looked over at the front door wondering who it could be.
"Hmmm? I wonder who that is." Rei said. Chibiusa wondered too, even as she continued to dry off with the tissue paper.
"Maybe it's Makoto, I'm guessing she's next." Chibiusa said.
"No, it's too soon for that. Wait here." Rei said as she stood back to full height and walked towards the door. She opened the doors and was a bit surprised to see who it was.
"Koan!" Rei shouted.
"Hey hey! How's my number one customer?" Koan said. The former villainess stood outside the Hikawa Shrine, holding a bright yellow shopping bag with the simple text, 'Ayakashi Beauty.' This was the business that she and her other three sisters were running ever since the defeat of the Dark Moon.
"So, is it that time already for more makeup and other things?" Rei said.
"Of course! Every two weeks on the dot... I always keep my promises to my favorite customers." Koan said.
"Alright. Wait here, I'll go get the yen." Rei said. As she stepped away and walked into another room of the temple, Koan was looking around and admiring what she could of the shrine. But it's when she looked down where she stopped moving her face because something caught her sharp eyesight. There was the tiny Chibiusa, who sat still even as Koan was looking straight at her, but eventually Chibiusa waved up at her. Finally, Rei came back, holding about 1200 yen in her hand.
"Well, here you go." Rei said.
"Oh, thanks!" Koan said. She took the yen from Rei's hand and then unloaded each of the makeup supplies, with Rei taking each and every one in her hand, leaving some other items inside the bag (as well as some of Koan's personal items). Koan's curiousity over the shrunken Chibiusa finally caused her to comment about it to Rei.

"Hey, Rei. Do you think I'm working too hard?" Koan asked.
"Huh? Why do you ask?" Rei asked.
"Well, I'm starting to see things all of a sudden. Like, I could've sworn I saw a very small Chibiusa inside that room behind you." Koan said. Rei at first was speechless, and that caused Koan to want to seek her answers even further. Being a former child of the Dark Moon, she definitely wasn't oblivious to the paranormal.
"Wait... that IS a shrunken Chibiusa in there, isn't it?" Koan said.
"Yes. Yes it is." Rei said.
"Well, I'll be. That's quite a surprise even for me!" Koan said. Slipping herself out of her red glass slippers, Koan entered the temple and slowly approached the tiny Chibiusa, getting down on her knees about a couple yards away from her.
"Hey there, Chibiusa." Koan said.
"Hi, Koan!" Chibiusa said. Koan slowly waved back at her, but looked at the little Chibiusa as if she were seeing things.
"Man, what happened here? I know I used to call you a little runt, but this is literally taking the cake!" Koan said.
"She was trying to make a growth potion, but in her haste to make one, ended up making a shrinking potion instead." Rei said.
"Really? It's only been a few weeks since I saw you towering alongside the Tokyo Tower! I guess you couldn't wait, huh?" Koan said.
"Yeah. I mean, being big is so much fun, right?" Chibiusa said. Once she heard that, Koan had a brief flashback to the time when she and the other sisters grew insanely big to try and both rule the city and defeat the sailor scouts using the now gone Expandium crystals.
"Yeah, I guess. She's not stuck like this, is she?" Koan said, looking back at Rei.
"Well, Usagi and Ami are trying to find a cure as we speak. Until then, we're just taking turns holding onto Chibiusa. I should be getting her to Makoto by now, in fact." Rei said.
"Wait! Rei... can I... can I hold onto Chibiusa for a little bit?" Koan said.
"Huh?" Rei asked.
"Well, we haven't spoken in so long, I feel like catching up on old times with her... and I'm sure the other sisters would feel the same way. I'll take her personally to Makoto when I'm done, I promise!" Koan said.
"Okay, Koan. You can have some time with Chibiusa." Rei said with a smile.
"Oh, thank you, Rei. You're such a good friend!" Koan said, standing up and giving Rei a hug.
"Yes, I'm sure I am!" Rei said. After the hugging was over, Rei reached down and grabbed Chibiusa, showing her to Koan, who quickly came up with a place to keep the shrunken girl.
"Just put her in my bag. She'll be safe there." Koan said. Rei did just that and placed Chibiusa inside.
"Bye, Rei!" Chibiusa shouted as she was put inside Koan's bag.
"Well, I've gotta get back. Got a lot more makeup to sell to the world!" Koan said.
"Good luck!" Rei said. Koan nodded her head and then turned around to leave the temple, carefully holding onto her bag with Chibiusa inside.

"I can't wait to see the other sisters again." Chibiusa said.
"Oh, I'm sure they'll be thrilled to see you again." Koan said.

After a few minutes worth of walking away from the temple and through the city, Koan approached the building that she and her other sisters were working out of. As she looked through the really large glass window that showed the inside of the story, Koan had a bad feeling over what she was seeing.
"Oh no... not again." Koan said.
"What is it, Koan?" Chibiusa asked from inside Koan's bag.
"Looks like Calaveras is at it again." Koan said. She watched as Calaveras was flirting very much with a male customer, trying to seduce him in any way possible, including by putting a hand on his shoulder. Berthier was standing to the side (near the entrance of the store), squirming uncomfortably as she watched Calaveras do her thing with the customer.
Calaveras finally entered and joined up with Berthier.
"Berthier, I'm back from delivery!" Koan said.
"Koan! Oh, thank goodness you're here... Calaveras is in her seduction phase again. It's quite painful to watch." Berthier said. Koan watched as Calaveras was now stretching her nearly-revealing dress at the customer, nearly revealing some sensitive material to the man.
"Just leave everything to me." Koan said as she began sneaking up behind the customer.

The man started to sweat as Calaveras had quite the devilish smile on her face as she flirted with her own clothing.
"Uh... really, I'm still not sure. I'm trying to save the money for my wife and..." the man said.
"Oh, if you want your wife to love you even more, you'll definitely want this lipstick. It's real sexy too, just like me." Calaveras said.
"*AHEM*" Koan cleared her throat as loudly as she possibly could. At the same time, she ripped the tube of lipstick right out of Calaveras's hand.
"Sir, please accept this free sample of our lipstick. Our risk-free guarantee will make sure your wife doesn't stay angry with you!" Koan said.
"Ah, thank you, miss! I really appreciate that! Though... she'll still brain me if I don't get home soon!" the man said before walking out of the shop.
"Have a nice day!" Koan said. The three girls walked back to the sales counter at the back of the shop.
"Geez, Koan! I was doing just fine until you showed up!" Calaveras said.
"Oh sure... you were practically about to striptease in front of that guy." Berthier said, folding her arms.
"Oh, pipe down! Who asked for your opinion anyway? And another thing... how are we supposed to stay in business if we keep giving away free samples!?" Calaveras said.
"Well, you know what they say, better to pay nothing at all than an extravagant price for something they hate." Koan said.
"That DOES make sense, you know." Berthier said.
"Pffft... whatever. You know I'm not into the numbers." Calaveras said.
"Anyway, girls. I brought home something special. I picked up this person during my deliveries." Koan said.
"Wait, person? Where is he? I bet he's real cute!" Berthier said.
"But he's probably looking forward to spending time with a grown-up, like me." Calaveras said.
"Ugh... not that joke again! It's getting kinda old, you know." Berthier said.
"Calm down, you prima donnas! It's actually a she... and she's right in this bag." Koan said as she showed off the bag and then placed it on the floor.
"In that bag? Maybe you've been working too hard, Koan." Calaveras said.
"Oh really? Just look..." Koan said. She then put a hand inside, and as soon as she felt the tiny Chibiusa step onto her hand, Koan gently lifted her out of the bag. Chibiusa sat tight in the palm of Koan's hand as she was being lifted upward. She also looked around and got her first look at Berthier and Calaveras, who were both quite surprised at what they were seeing.

"Berthier! Calaveras! Hi!" Chibiusa said with a smile.
"Oh my gosh... is that you, Chibiusa?" Berthier said, bending down and getting a closer look at the shrunken girl.
"Well, who else do you know that has pink hair like me?" Chibiusa asked.
"Oh!!! You look so adorable!" Berthier said as she plucked Chibiusa from Koan with both her hands and hugged her against her face.
"Hey, don't hug so hard!" Chibiusa shouted.
"And naturally, the shortest one of all of us finds the tiny Chibiusa very fascinating. I bet you wish your next boyfriend was like that." Calaveras said.
"Calaveras!" Koan said, bumping Calaveras in the shoulder.
"But seriously, what the hell is this all about?" Calaveras asked.
"I found her at the Hikawa Shrine with Rei. Rei says Chibiusa was, earlier today anyway, trying to make another growth potion." Koan said.
"Oh, I still remember the gigantic you from a couple weeks ago. You really did a number on the city!" Berthier said.
"Hehe... thanks!" Chibiusa said.
"Hah! That was nothing compared to the time we used those crystals to grow really big." Calaveras said.
"AVERY!" Berthier and Koan both shouted.
"Hehe... Calaveras's still big-headed isn't she?" Chibiusa said.
"Yes she is, Chibiusa. Between that and seeing you so big that time, it makes me glad I'm not a part of the Dark Moon anymore." Berthier said, now petting Chibiusa slightly on the forehead.
"Anyway... Chibiusa was going so fast, she mixed up some of the ingredients and ended up making a shrinking potion. So now she's stuck like that until Ami can make an antidote." Koan said.
"Awww, you poor thing." Berthier said. She finally decided to put Chibiusa down on the counter that the three sisters were standing behind.
"Now, girls, we can't keep her for long. I promised Rei I would deliver Chibiusa to Makoto in about a half hour." Koan said.

"That's too bad. I was hoping we'd all get to play around with her." Calaveras said.
"Well, sorry about that, Calaveras! Say... where is Petz?" Chibiusa asked, after she looked around and noticed Petz wasn't around. Suddenly, the smiles went away on all three girls.
"She's probably in the back room again." Berthier said.
"Yeah, like she usually is around this time, sulking over Sapphire's death." Calaveras said.
"Calaveras, come on now!" Koan said.
"What!? It's the truth, you know. We've been trying to shake her out of it, but she's been like this for weeks now." Calaveras said.
"Oh..." Chibiusa said, feeling down about the whole thing too.
"I mean, she does eventually come out and help us out, but she doesn't seem into it, really. Calaveras is right... I think Sapphire's death is still taking its toll on her." Koan said.
"Well... can I still see her? Maybe I can cheer her up... or something like that." Chibiusa said.
"Not a good idea. Everything we've tried to cheer her up only makes it worse." Calaveras said.
"But she hasn't seen Chibiusa in a while. I mean, not face-to-face. She virtually didn't react to the news on the day you were big." Berthier said.
"Yeah, Berthier is right. Maybe Chibiusa's presence will cheer up Petz at least a little bit." Koan said.
"Come here, kiddo. I'll take you to her!" Berthier said, holding both her bare hands (with glittering blue nail polish) out.
"Thanks, Berthier!" Chibiusa said as she hopped onboard. Berthier then opened up the back door behind the girls, leaving Koan and Calaveras to care for the store for the time being.

In this back room, Petz sat quietly on one of the couches, her right arm resting on the nearby armrest. It looked like she was staring into space, especially when she didn't hear the door open and didn't see Berthier walking inside.
"Petz?" Berthier said, but there was no response.
"Petz!!" Berthier shouted. This time, Petz heard, and her head snapped in the direction of her younger sister.
"Huh? What? Oh, it's just you, Berthier." Petz said.
"Well, who else would come back here, right?" Berthier said with a smile. Petz, however, was not smiling, still keeping that gloomy look on her face.
"What do you want, Berthier?" Petz asked.
"Well, there's someone here to see you." Berthier said.
"Who the hell would want to see me?" Petz asked.
"Oh, I think you'll agree this is a special guest. Allow me." Berthier said. She walked towards the couch that Petz was sitting on and opened up her hands over the armrest, allowing Chibiusa to walk out.
"Hello, Petz!" Chibiusa said. Petz then had a confused look on her face.
"Huh?" Petz said.
"Long story short, she accidentally shrunk herself while trying to make herself bigger. She's waiting on her friends to make a cure." Berthier said.
"Oh, well, that would explain a lot." Petz said. There were a few awkward seconds of silence before Berthier finally broke it.
"Well, I'll be out on the floor. I hope you'll come out soon!" Berthier said as she walked towards the door and exited the room, leaving Petz and the shrunken Chibiusa all to herself.

Again, more seconds of silence, and Petz tried her best to make a conversation with the tiny girl.
"Soooo... how have you been?" Petz said. Chibiusa felt heartbroken inside seeing the sad look on Petz's face, so she decided to get straight to the point.
"Petz, I know about... I know about Sapphire." Chibiusa said. Petz let out a deep sigh as she looked down on Chibiusa.
"I guess my idiotic sisters told you. They shouldn't have." Petz said.
"Petz, I want to help you in any way I can. Please, can you talk about this to me?" Chibiusa said.
"You are much too young, Chibiusa. You couldn't possibly understand what I'm going through." Petz said.
"Sure I do! I may look young but I'm really a lot older than you think!" Chibiusa said.
"That's not what I meant. You haven't been in love like I have." Petz said.
"But..." Chibiusa said.
"Chibiusa... I loved Sapphire with all my heart. He was everything to me. Had it not been for Wiseman, we would've lived a peaceful life." Petz said.
"Petz...?" Chibiusa said. She could see the tears coming out of Petz's eyes even as she tried hard to wipe them away.
"Sapphire was my true love... and he was taken from me by the blasted Dark Moon. I know Sailor Moon was able to defeat them... but... *sniff* it just pains me there's nothing I can do to bring Sapphire back... *sniff*" Petz said as the tears began to flow. Chibiusa almost wanted to cry with her, but she was determined to cheer her up.
"But you're still here, Petz." Chibiusa said.
"What?" Petz said.
"Wiseman... I may have been Wicked Lady during that time, but I saw it with my own eyes as Wiseman killed everyone. Diamond, Emerald, and Sapphire... I saw him kill everyone because he was ambitious of his own goal. But he didn't get you!" Chibiusa said.
"No, but..." Petz said, but this time it was Chibiusa who jumped in to interrupt.
"You still have your sisters, Petz! You've been given a new chance in life! Sapphire would be proud of you..." Chibiusa said. Petz's tears faded out as she heard that.
"Do you really mean that?" Petz said. Chibiusa nodded.
"He... he would be happy for you. You're living the good life that he would've wanted you to live. I'm sorry if I'm making this harder for you..." Chibiusa said.
"You know what, Chibiusa? You're right." Petz said. Suddenly, she gently picked up the shrunken girl and held her in her hand.

"I'm starting to feel like I've been selfish again. I've only been thinking of myself, my own life, just as I did with the Dark Moon. It's something I regretted then, and for me to start up that old habit again would be just painful." Petz said.
"Are you sure?" Chibiusa asked. Petz nodded, and in fact, cracked a smile for the first time.
"I cannot bring Sapphire back, no matter how much I wish to the galaxies. I can only move on from there, especially since as you said, I still have myself and my sisters." Petz said.
"Oh, Petz..." Chibiusa said.
"Chibiusa... thank you." Petz said, lightly patting her on her forehead.
"Well, no problem, I guess." Chibiusa said. She was then picked up by Petz, who placed her on her shoulder.
"Come on, I better whip those lazy sisters of mine into shape." Petz said.
"There you go!" Chibiusa shouted with a smile.

Soon, Petz opened the door and joined up with her other sisters. They were somewhat surprised to see her walking out confidently and with a smile on her face.
"Oh, Petz!" Koan said.
"That's quicker than you're usually back there for." Calaveras said.
"My sisters. I feel much better now. From this day forward, I will only think of the future and not dwell on the past, something I think we all need to do. Let us all work together to make our business a successful one!" Petz said.
"Yay, Petz!" Berthier said as she hugged her fellow sister. Calaveras and Koan both hugged as well. Chibiusa had to hold onto Petz's green clothing to keep from falling off the giantess.
"Welcome back, Petz." Koan said.
"Yeah... I missed having my closest sister to pick on." Calaveras said.
"So does this mean you'll finally stop calling me a shorty?" Berthier asked. The other girls just laughed, but soon stopped when they heard the front door open.
"Okay, girls! A customer! Look lively now." Petz said, taking Chibiusa back in her hands to cover her up temporarily.

But as it turns out, the customer was Makoto. Wearing the same clothes as before but this time holding onto something that looked wrapped up, Makoto approached the desk where the four sisters were standing.
"Hey there, ladies. What's up?" Makoto asked.
"Oh, hi, Makoto! Can we interest you in some mint-flavored lipstick? It'd be perfect for you!" Calaveras said.
"There you go again, always trying to sell whatever's in your hand." Koan said.
"Seriously, what can we do for you?" Petz asked.
"Well, I'm actually here to pick up little Chibiusa. Rei told me she would be here with you." Makoto said.
"Yeah, she's here. Right, Petz?" Koan said.
"Indeed she is." Petz said. She opened up her hands and placed Chibiusa on the counter.
"Hello, Makoto!" Chibiusa said.
"Hey. The sisters were nice to you weren't they?" Makoto asked.
"Yep! I even cheered up Petz." Chibiusa said.
"It's kind of a long story." Petz said.
"Awww... do you really have to go, Chibiusa? It'd be nice if you could help us out here!" Berthier said.
"Yeah, but what's she going to do? Carry lipstick? That's all she can do at that size!" Calaveras said.
"Hey, Makoto, what's that you have in your hand?" Koan said noting the wrapped up bowl that was in Makoto's right hand.
"Oh, it's my homemade and reheat-able chicken soup. I'm delivering it to Minako, who's fighting a rather nasty cold." Makoto said.
"Damn! Tell her to get well soon. Maybe I can whip her into shape, even!" Calaveras said.
"AVERY!" the other three girls shouted. Makoto just laughed.
"Well, I better get going. See ya'll later. Maybe I will buy that mint-flavored lipstick next time." Makoto said. Taking the little Chibiusa in her other hand, Makoto walked out of the Ayakashi Beauty shop.

Once outside the shop, Makoto moved Chibiusa close to one of the pockets on her pants.
"Alright, you better jump in and hold on tight, Chibiusa. It's gonna be a fast trip to Minako's place." Makoto said.
"Well, okay then!" Chibiusa said, jumping inside the pocket. Once she was in and secured, Makoto used her free hand to reach down to the shoes she was wearing. Suddenly, after pressing a button on each shoe, a set of wheels retracted from the bottom of both shoes.
"Huh!? I didn't know you had roller skates!" Chibiusa shouted.
"That's because I haven't shown them to you before." Makoto said.
"But do you know how to skate?" Chibiusa asked.
"Hey, I am an expert at ice skating." Makoto said and just smiled.
"Oh, I get it now!" Chibiusa said.
"Hold on!" Makoto said as she skated away.

As Makoto had warned Chibiusa earlier, she was flying down the streets at a pretty good rate of speed. She was swinging her arms and legs in every which way she could to avoid hitting people, bikes, and other objects with herself or, more importantly, her chicken soup. She was tempted to grind on some of the rails that she encountered along the way, but thought better of it, wanting to save the extreme moves for another day.

After at least a few minutes of rolling through the city, Makoto came to a screeching halt in front of Minako's house. With the soup fully intact and still quite warm, Makoto checked on Chibiusa who was still nestled inside one of her pockets.
"You okay, Chibiusa?" Makoto asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. That was a wild ride!" Chibiusa said.
"Well, the important thing is that you aren't hurt." Makoto said. She then, with her free hand, rang the doorbell to Minako's house. A few seconds later, the door opened up with Minako's mother greeting Makoto.
"Oh, Makoto! Welcome back!" the mother said.
"Thank you, Mrs. Aino. I'm here to hopefully help Minako." Makoto said.
"Well, I'm sure you are. If anyone can do it, it's you. Please come in." Mrs. Aino said. After giving the soup to Mrs. Aino, Makoto took off her shoes and then entered the house in her bare feet. She then took back the soup and proceeded to walk up the steps to Minako's room.
"If you need anything, please let me know!" Mrs. Aino shouted.
"Of course." Makoto said.

Meanwhile, inside Minako's room, the teenage girl was laying in her bed with her head sticking out of the covers. She had an icepack on her head, which was being straightened out by Artemis, Minako's white cat.
"Ugh... my nose is stuffing up again. *cough cough*" Minako said.
"Save your strength, Minako. That fever is really doing a number on you." Artemis said.
"Oh, Arte... you sound like a knight in shining armor to me right now." Minako said.
"Really? Luna seems to think otherwise." Artemis said.
"Oh, she's playing with you. You know that, right? *sniff*" Minako said. Just then, both she and Artemis heard a knocking sound coming from the door. Both looked to see Makoto standing right there.
"Room service!" Makoto said jokingly.
"Ah, good. Makoto's here." Artemis said.
"Makoto? Oh, Makoto..." Minako said.
"That's my name, alright." Makoto said.
"Oh, Makoto... you're like an angel coming from the heavens to guide me." Minako said.
"Huh?" Makoto said.
"Makoto... I may not be able to make it much longer. Please... please hear my dying wishes." Minako said. Makoto simply picked up a soft pillow that was by Minako's feet and threw it at her, striking the girl in the head.
"Hey!" Minako shouted.
"Okay, Prima Donna. That's enough of that." Makoto said with a smile.
"I gotta hand it to you, Makoto. You can cut right through that kind of stuff in a heartbeat." Artemis said.
"Well, that's what happens when you're childhood friends." Makoto said, prompting a laugh from both her and Minako.
"Okay, okay. *cough* *sniff* So what did you bring for me?" Minako asked.
"My special homemade chicken soup. Guaranteed to cure any cold in minutes." Makoto said with a smile. She gently unwrapped the wrap around the bowl that was keeping the soup warm all this time, and she finally placed it on Minako's lap after she sat up (showing part of the light blue pajamas she was wearing in the process). Makoto also pulled a spoon out from her other pocket, putting it inside the soup.
"Mmmm... I can smell it already." Minako said.
"That's because it's opening up your nostrils." Makoto said.

Makoto watched with delight as Minako was eating the soup. It was no surprise, nobody could resist Makoto's cooking almost all the time. Chibiusa, still sticking her head and arms out of one of Makoto's pockets, couldn't resist staring at the soup.
"That looks so good. I wish I could have some too!" Chibiusa said. Makoto looked down at the shrunken girl.
"Oh, Chibiusa. I almost forgot about you." Makoto said.
"Huh, Chibiusa? She's here too? Where is she?" Minako said.
"Don't you remember? I called you to tell you what happened to her." Makoto said. She then pulled out the shrunken girl and showed her to Minako, eventually placing her next to the bowl of chicken soup.
"Oh yeah... sorry, you know what being sick does to my thinking." Minako said.
"Unfortunately, I do." Makoto said.
"Even then, I didn't think it would be true... for Chibiusa to shrink like that." Minako said.
"Well, it's true!" Chibiusa shouted. Minako was the next person to pat little Chibiusa on the head.
"Hey, careful not to spread your germs to Chibiusa..." Artemis said.
"Her germs are probably too big for Chibiusa right now. I wouldn't sweat it." Makoto said with a smile.
"You want some of this soup, Chibiusa?" Minako asked.
"Sure!" Chibiusa said.
"Well, just a drop of broth. It's way too hot for her to be swimming in that stuff." Makoto said.
"But imagine that, right?" Minako said. She dipped one of her fingernails (luckily she didn't have makeup on today because of the illness) into the broth part of the soup. Then she hovered that finger next to Chibiusa, who proceeded to lick the tasty broth off. Chibiusa licked her lips as she tasted the broth.
"Mmmm... that tastes pretty good." Chibiusa said.
"Hey, I can make you a batch of your own once you're back to full size." Makoto said.
"I would love that!" Chibiusa said.

"Hey, how about we check your temperature again, Minako?" Artemis said.
"Well, alright then." Minako said.
"Oh, can I help? Can I!?" Chibiusa said.
"How?" Makoto asked.
"Well, I can hold the thermometer, or at least put it into Minako's mouth." Chibiusa said.
"That's a good idea! *cough cough*" Minako said.
"Alright then. Where is the thermometer?" Makoto asked.
"Right here." Artemis said, pointing to it on a nearby table with one of his paws. Makoto grabbed it and placed it next to Chibiusa. Despite the temperature-checking object being twice the size of Chibiusa herself, its light weight allowed her to pick it up and carry it towards Minako.
"Okay, say ahhhhh!" Chibiusa shouted.
"Ahhhhh!" Minako said after a brief giggle. She opened up her mouth and Chibiusa walked towards it, placing the thermometer under Minako's tongue as instructed by Makoto. Once Minako closed her mouth, Chibiusa backed away towards the bowl of chicken soup.
"Very good, Chibiusa." Makoto said.
"Yeah, I'm just glad I didn't have to go inside. That would've been scary." Chibiusa said.
"And quite dangerous on top of that." Artemis said.

Just then, the beeping sound of the sailor scouts wrist communicators could be heard in the room. Minako's was resting on a nearby table, but Makoto was able to hear hers as well. Minako started to move, but Makoto stopped her.
"Wait, I got this." Makoto said. She then pressed a button and saw Ami's face on the screen.
"This is Makoto, go ahead." Makoto said.
"Oh, hi, Makoto! I guess you're holding onto Chibiusa now?" Ami asked.
"Yeah. Actually, we're both at Minako's place checking up on her." Makoto said.
"Oh? How is Minako doing?" Ami said.
"She'll live. Guaranteed." Makoto said, winking at Minako who just rolled her eyes." Makoto said.
"Well, anyway, I think I've made the growth potion for Chibiusa! Can you meet the rest of us at Usagi's place?" Ami said.
"We'll be right there. Signing out." Makoto said.
"Huh? Ami figured out how to make the growing potion? That's strange, I thought I was the only one who knew how to make it." Chibiusa asked.
"We can ask her when we see her. Let's go." Makoto said, picking up the shrunken girl.
"Wait! What about Minako's temperature?" Artemis said.
"Okay then..." Makoto said. She gently pulled the thermometer out of Minako's mouth.
"Looks like 102 degrees." Makoto said.
"Oh good, it's going down. She was 104 when Minako's mother checked this morning." Artemis said.
"See, you're not dying." Makoto said with a smile.
"Heh... I clearly still have some work to do in convincing you!" Minako said.
"Just rest easy for the day, and finish up your soup. I'll see you later." Makoto said as she exited Minako's room with the little Chibiusa.

Inside Usagi's room, Usagi was sitting on her bed talking random things with Ami and Rei. But there was someone else in the room as well. Sailor Pluto just stood around, holding onto her time staff, while the other girls chatted it up. But the talking stopped when Makoto entered the room, holding onto the shrunken Chibiusa.
"Sorry I'm late. There was a pretty big traffic jam in one part of the city that I had to skate around." Makoto said.
"Hey, at least I'm not the only one that's late!" Usagi said.
"Oh pipe down, meatball head." Rei said. Sailor Pluto walked towards Makoto and immediately looked down on the shrunken Chibiusa
"Hello, Small Lady." Pluto said.
"Puu? What are you doing here?" Chibiusa asked, calling Sailor Pluto by her favorite nickname.
"Aiding our friends in returning you to normal size, now that I feel your journey is over." Pluto said.
"Wait, my journey? Are you telling me...?" Chibiusa said.
"Yes, Small Lady. I am responsible for the situation you are under right now." Pluto said.
"Um..." Chibiusa said.
"She told us everything, so we know, Chibiusa." Ami said.
"Wait... what about me? I'm just finding out for the first time too." Makoto said.
"This was a test for Small Lady. I purposefully changed the ingredients of each potion in her kit after the day she used it to grow." Pluto said.
"But how did you do that!?" Chibiusa asked.
"That does not matter now. I wanted for Small Lady to realize that size wasn't the only thing she needed to think about. I wanted her to experience the other side. The side she saw after growing the last time." Pluto said.
"So that she could know what it felt like for all those innocent people." Rei said.
"And to make sure she wouldn't abandon this test so easily, that's when I added in the agent to cause temporary memory loss." Pluto said.
"After she told us this, Sailor Pluto showed me exactly what I needed to mix to make the growing potion. Here it is right here. She said it would also cure the amnesia she's suffering from right now." Ami said, holding up a dropper with the blue-colored potion.

"So... you did this... just so I could get a feel for the other side?" Chibiusa asked. Sailor Pluto nodded.
"I did not want to punish you for your acts of not too long ago, nor discourage you from doing it again. I merely wanted to make sure you understood what the people of the city were going through." Pluto said. Chibiusa looked at the sincerity of Sailor Pluto's eyes, and then she looked at the other scouts as well.
"Okay, I think I understand." Chibiusa said.
"She'll understand as time goes on. You may administer the potion, Ami." Pluto said.
"Well, okay then. Makoto, could you place Chibiusa on the floor?" Ami said.
"Yep, sure." Makoto said as she did just that. Ami walked towards the tiny Chibiusa, being careful not to step on her, of course. Then she squeezed the dropper, allowing one drop of the potion to splash all over Chibiusa.
"Ack! I'm all wet now!" Chibiusa said. The other girls just laughed a bit.
"Hey, just pretend you're at the swimming pool like I do!" Usagi said.
"Look! I think it's working." Rei said, pointing down at Chibiusa. She was right, as Chibiusa clearly was growing again.

After about a minute or two, Chibiusa was back to her original height of 3 and a half feet tall.
"Wow... I feel so big all of a sudden." Chibiusa said, acknowledging how long she was shrunken. Usagi then hopped off her bed and got down on her knees, hugging her future daughter.
"Oh, Chibiusa... I'm so glad you're back to normal. Now I can pick on you again without being afraid of crushing you!" Usagi said.
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Chibiusa said, again prompting a laugh from the girls.
"I hope you have learned an important lesson from this, Small Lady." Pluto said.
"Yeah, I have. I gotta think of the normal-sized people while I'm gigantic." Chibiusa said.
"I'm not sure that's what she meant, Chibiusa." Rei said.
"Actually, Sailor Mars, it is. But anyway, I'll be taking the Luna Ball, and therefore also her potion kit, for the rest of the day." Pluto said.
"Awww.... Puu!" Chibiusa said.
"You still have to be punished for using this potion kit irresponsibly." Pluto said.
"Okay, okay. I understand." Chibiusa said. Sailor Pluto smiled and then looked at the other scouts in the room.
"Goodbye, sailor scouts. Perhaps I will see you again in the future." Sailor Pluto said before she and the potion kit, eventually transforming back into the Luna Ball, faded out of sight.

Once Sailor Pluto was gone, Usagi ended her hugging and looked at the other sailor scouts.
"So... now that everything's back to normal? How about we go for some ice cream!?" Usagi said.
"Wait! I want to taste Makoto's homemade chicken soup from this normal size! She promised me!" Chibiusa said.
"And I'm more than happy to fulfill that promise." Makoto said.
"In that case, we'll come along too. I was planning on going to check up on Minako anyway." Rei said.
"Same for me." Ami said.
"Alright, then! Let's go everyone!" Chibiusa said.
"Hey, since when did you become the boss of us?" Usagi said. Eventually, all the girls left the room, putting behind the big adventures that little Chibiusa had to go through, just to perhaps better realize what all those innocent people felt like when she was walking around the city.

But would she keep that lesson to heart? We'll never know... not until she decides to grow into a city-terrorizing giantess once again. And knowing young Chibiusa, that was almost a guarantee for the future.
