Rini Meets Sailor Giga Starburst

Serena once again slumped her way out of the classroom, staring point blank at the red F at the top of the paper.
"(sigh) Another miserable failure... I wonder what excuse I haven't used yet in front of Mother." Serena said, finally taking her eyes off the paper so she could see where she was walking. At the same time, someone was sneaking up behind Serena. This person finally grabbed both of Serena's shoulders.
"Hi, Serena!" the young lady shouted.
"Ack! Oh... hi, Hailey." Serena said as she quickly turned around and saw it was one of her good and most recent friends, Hailey Martin. It's been a few weeks since Hailey transferred to Juuban Middle, and while she won't say where she used to live, her energetic and friendly personality made her an easy favorite to Serena.
"So how was class for you?" Hailey said.
"Well, the same as usual." Serena said.
"Gosh, that's too bad. You know, you can always ask me for help if you want." Hailey said.
"Sure! Maybe you could help me with these math problems I've been having?" Serena said. Hailey showed a sweatdrop in response.
"Er... well, maybe not in math!" Hailey said. Math and physics were not her best subjects, just so you know. But she has proven proficient in PE, History, and Writing... she was especially good in physical education, being very athletic for a 16-year-old. Of course, there was a reason to that for unknown reasons to everyone but herself. With the power of a special brooch, similar to Sailor Moon's, she transforms into Sailor Giga Starburst.
"It was worth a try." Serena said.
"Yeah. Listen, can I walk home with you? I would like to visit with Rini again." Hailey said.
"Huh? Again with Rini?" Serena said.
"You don't mind, do you?" Hailey asked with a friendly smile.
"No, of course not. I know you two are pretty close friends." Serena said. As Serena said, Hailey and Rini were very good friends as well. Hailey didn't know what it was, but there was something about Rini that struck a high note with her. Was it her personality? Some of her shared interests? She had no clue.

Eventually, after the two young ladies left the school and walked the long distance back through the city (talking about different things along the way, including how cool the sailor scouts were and how they wished they knew their real identities), Serena and Hailey were at Serena's home.
"Well, here we are. Brace yourself in case my Mom flips out over my grades." Serena said.
"But maybe she won't notice. I mean, she was very busy with house cleaning last time I visited." Hailey said.
"I was lucky, I must admit there." Serena said. She then pulled out her spare key and used it to open the front door. The two girls entered the house, where they saw Serena's mother, true to Hailey's word, cleaning the dishes.
"Oh, welcome home, Serena! I see Hailey is with you as well." Ikuko said.
"Yep, she sure is! Come on, Hailey, let's head up to my room." Serena said. She started up the steps to her room when Ikuko made a last moment call to her daughter.
"Serena, wait!" she said. Serena gulped, thinking she was going to be asking about her grades. Hailey took a couple steps back in preparation for a temper tantrum.
"Yes, Mother?" Serena asked.
"Your father and I are going out to dinner tonight. You don't mind staying behind and watching over Rini and Luna, do you?" Ikuko said. Serena's eyes lit up... there was that lucky break that she had just been thinking about.
"Um... sure! No problem!" Serena said.
"Great, thanks! You're the best daughter I can ever have." Ikuko said.
"Yep... I... I couldn't agree more. Come on, Hailey!" Serena said. She went up the steps, as did Hailey. Along the way, Hailey smiled and lightly tapped Serena on the shoulder.
"What did I tell you? Maybe she would be too preoccupied!" Hailey said.
"Hailey, you're a living four-leaf clover, you know that?" Serena said, flashing a smile back at her friend.

The two then entered Serena's room, where they saw Rini looking at herself in the mirror. She was wearing her usual schoolgirl outfit.
"Rini, your friend is here!" Serena said. Rini turned around and saw Hailey.
"Hailey!" Rini shouted as she ran towards her. Hailey welcomed the young girl into her arms.
"Oh, Rini! It's so good to see you again!" Hailey said.
"I'm really looking forward to walking together in the park." Rini said.
"Wait? You're going in the park again? Why don't you two ever tell me this stuff!?" Serena said.
"Hehe... it's our little secret!" Rini said.
"Surely you don't mind, right Serena?" Hailey said.
"No. It's okay. You two have fun as you always do." Serena said.
"Thanks, Serena! Ready to go, Rini?" Hailey said.
"Yep! Let's go!" Rini said as the two ran downstairs and eventually out of the house. Serena just sighed.
"(sigh) Hailey is so young at heart. But oh well..." Serena said as she walked into her room to carry out the rest of her day.

Later, much like with Serena, Hailey was making conversation with Rini.
"So, what have you been up to lately?" Hailey asked.
"Well, not much. I did have this wonderful dream last night." Rini said.
"Oh, tell me about it!" Hailey said.
"Well, I was in this dense forest... and all of a sudden, I find this weird house. It was made of gingerbread even." Rini said.
"A gingerbread house?" Hailey said.
"Yeah. There was this nice old lady inside too. She said I could eat whatever I wanted... even the walls! And the weird part? Those walls tasted a lot like cotton candy." Rini said.
"Hmmm... I see. Quite interesting too!" Hailey said. But just then, jumping out from one of the bushes was a monster. It caught both Hailey and Rini by surprise; they gasped as they watched the monster suddenly appear.
"Hahaha! I got you two now!" Kigurumiko shouted.
"Eeek! A monster!" Rini said.
"Rini, let's run!" Hailey shouted. Both girls did just that, turning the opposite way and trying to get away from the monster. Kigurumiko played it out for a bit by running after the girls, but soon used its speed abilities to catch up with them, jumping in front of them and cutting them off at the path. Both girls stopped running when they faced the monster once more.

"Yes, your Dream Mirrors are now mine!" Kigurumiko said. Hailey looked back at Rini and was determined to protect her no matter what, even if it meant doing what she was about to do.
"You've made a terrible mistake trying to confront us." Hailey said.
"Huh? Hailey? What are you doing?" Rini asked. Hailey pulled out a brooch, very similar to the one Serena uses to transform to Sailor Moon, and held it high in the air.
"Giga Star Power, Make-Up!" Hailey shouted. Her schoolgirl uniform faded out, and her body glowed in a variety of colors, as her senshi outfit slowly formed piece by piece. About 30 seconds later, Hailey Martin was now Sailor Giga Starburst.
"Ah, so you're one of the fabled sailor scouts! The Dead Moon Circus told me about the lot of you..." Kigurumiko said.
"For you to terrorize the mind of a young girl, threatening to steal the very dreams that she hopes will one day become reality, I cannot forgive you. In the name of the stars that form our galaxy, I am Sailor Giga Starburst, and you will be punished!" Sailor Giga Starburst said. Rini was still incredibly shocked over what she just saw.
"No way... Hailey's a sailor scout?" Rini said.
"Bah, talk is cheap! I'll get you for this!" Kigurumiko said. But as the monster was charging towards Sailor Giga Starburst, she summoned up one of her attacks.
"Rainbow Supernova! Strike!" Giga Starburst said. She held two hands against her chest and then thrust them forward, and coming out of her hands was a combination of fire mixed with pure energy. The attack struck Kigurumiko and knocked it back a few yards.
"Arrrgh... good trick, but not good enough!" Kigurumiko said.
"I know, but you haven't seen anything yet. Rini, you better step back." Giga Starburst said as she looked back at Rini.
"Okay!" Rini said as she ran several yards away from the battle scene, watching it from afar now. Once Hailey thought Rini was well out of range, she began to conjure up her signature attack.
"Giga Starburst! Size change!" Giga Starburst said. She closed her eyes and concentrated, with her brooch as well as the jewel encrusted on her forehead glowing a bright green color. After a few seconds, she thrust her hands up in the air again and kept them there. Kigurumiko wondered what the heck she was doing.
"Parlor trick! I'll put a swift end to you and... w-w-what!?" Kigurumiko said, but it had to stop talking (and walking towards the girl) when it saw the seemingly impossible. Sailor Giga Starburst was getting bigger.

After a little while, and thankfully with her fuku and white shoes growing with her, Sailor Giga Starburst was standing at an even 150 feet tall. She opened her eyes and looked way down at Kigurumiko, who at first was staring point blank at the giantess's ankles before looking up at the towering heroine.
"You were saying, little monster?" Giga Starburst said.
"Ahem... uh, I was saying... I'll go find someone else's Dream Mirror? Let's stay in touch, okay?" Kigurumiko said before it started running away. The gigantic Sailor Giga Starburst watched the monster running for its life.
"As I said, you must be punished for your evil deeds." Giga Starburst said. She took a couple steps, with her left foot coming straight down on the monster.
"*gulp* Nooooo! Stage ou..." Kigurumiko said, before it was impaled by the giantess's white heeled shoe. While its body didn't break apart at first, eventually it faded into a black mesh, similar to what happens when Sailor Moon finishes off a monster. Sailor Giga Starburst breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well, that was easy, like always." Giga Starburst said. She then turned around and looked down at an even more shocked Rini. She approached the tiny girl and got down on her knees in front of her.
"Are you okay, Rini?" Giga Starburst said.
"Um... well... uh..." Rini said.
"Yes, I'm sure you are quite surprised over what you just saw." Giga Starburst said. She gently placed one of her gloved hands down on the ground, allowing Rini to climb onboard. Rini sat in the middle of Hailey's right hand as she stood back up to her full height.
"So you're a sailor scout?" Rini asked.
"Yes. I am Sailor Giga Starburst. I come from the farthest reaches of the galaxy to try and stop the Dead Moon Circus." Giga Starburst said.
"The Dead Moon Circus?" Rini said. Giga Starburst simply nodded.
"It's a really long story, and I cannot share all the details, I am afraid. Doing so would put you in grave danger." Giga Starburst said. Rini started to say how she didn't fear the Dead Moon Circus, particularly because they've already been striking many times against herself and the other sailor scouts, but that would mean giving up her own secret identity as Sailor Chibi-Moon, so she held face.
"It's okay. I understand." Rini said.
"I'm so glad to hear that." Giga Starburst said.
"So do you have any other powers, especially aside from this growing thing?" Rini asked.
"Nope, that and the Rainbow Supernova." Giga Starburst said.
"Can you grow any bigger?" Rini asked.
"This is the biggest I am allowed to grow to. I can change my size anywhere from my original height to 150 feet tall." Giga Starburst said.
"That must be one very cool power to have! Hey, I wonder, could you make other things grow?" Rini asked. Giga Starburst suddenly smiled when she heard Rini ask that question.

"Why don't I show you personally?" Giga Starburst said. She placed Rini down on the ground, next to her white high heels.
"Giga Starburst! Size change!" Giga Starburst said. Once again, she concentrated by closing her eyes and allowing some of the jewelry on her outfit to glow. This time, as she held her hands up, it glowed a red color, and Sailor Giga Starburst was now shrinking. She was back to her normal size, but right away she looked at Rini.
"Okay, Rini. Please stand close to me." Giga Starburst said.
"Okay..." Rini said.
"Now hold on tight and close your eyes." Giga Starburst said. Rini did just that, hugging Hailey as if she were a mother to her, and then closing her eyes.
"Giga Starburst! Size change!" Giga Starburst said. Yet again, Hailey concentrated and allowed the energy needed for growing to build inside her. She held her hands up, and the energy soon circulated around not just Sailor Giga Starburst, but also Rini. As a result, both girls began to grow. Sailor Giga Starburst was soon back to her maximum height of 150 feet tall, and Rini was bigger as well, but she had grown in proportion with Giga Starburst. That means she was still shorter than Giga Starburst, but Rini was still a bit over 100 feet tall.
"Okay, Rini. Take a look." Giga Starburst said. Rini opened her eyes and loosened her grip on Sailor Giga Starburst. She gasped over how much smaller the park looked.
"Oh my gosh... I'm so big!" Rini said.
"Yes, it is an overwhelming feeling at first." Giga Starburst said.
"Oh, thank you, Hailey! I mean... Sailor Giga Starburst!" Rini said as she hugged her friend once more.
"You're welcome, Rini." Giga Starburst said.
"Hey, maybe we should go into the city and see how much smaller that is too!" Rini said.
"Well, okay, but you must promise me something, Rini." Giga Starburst said.
"I know, I have to keep your identity a secret, right?" Rini said.
"Well, part of it. I must ask that you please be careful while we were in the city. I could never forgive myself if we killed someone, accidentally or not." Giga Starburst said. It took Rini a few seconds to realize how serious Hailey was in this request.
"Okay. I understand." Rini said.
"Very good. Oh, before we go into the city, how about we surprise Serena?" Giga Starburst said.
"Huh? Why?" Rini said.
"Well... I kinda always like to see someone's initial reaction when they see not just one, but two, big and beautiful girls like us." Giga Starburst said with a smile.
"Hehe... that's a great idea! Just follow me... it shouldn't take long to get to Serena's home." Rini said. The two giantesses then made their way out of the park, and towards the neighborhood that she and Serena normally stayed in...

Back at Serena's home, Serena was all by herself now, with her parents having gone out to dinner as promised, and Sammy and Luna out and about. She was relaxing on her bed, daydreaming about being with Darien, eating a large chocolate fudge cake, among other things.
"(sigh) Such a quiet day today, Darien. You can have the last piece of cake if you'd like." Serena said. Just then, she started to hear a loud series of rumble sounds that got louder and louder with each passing second.
"Huh? What is that racket?" Serena asked. Right then and there, she watched the roof of her entire home (not just her room) come right out. Pieces of it fell into the house as it tilted up and at an angle.
"What the...!?" Serena shouted as she covered her head with her arms, hoping she wouldn't be struck with the falling debris. Eventually, she heard the rumbling fade out, and she finally looked up to see the gigantic bodies of Rini and Sailor Giga Starburst, with the latter holding up the roof of her house.
"Teeheehee... hello, little Serena!" Rini said.
"Eeeeek!" Serena shouted out of surprise. She tried to run out of the room, but wasn't quick enough to escape Rini's gigantic hand as it wrapped around her body and lifted her out of the house.

Rini gently picked up the tiny Serena out of her home, and once she did that, Sailor Giga Starburst very slowly lowered the roof back onto Serena's home, precisely on target too.
"Wow, that was impressive, Sailor Giga Starburst!" Rini said.
"Thanks, Rini!" Giga Starburst said with a smile.
"Let me go! Please let me go!" Serena said.
"Stop squirming, Serena. You don't want me to drop you, right?" Rini said.
"Rini, what the heck's going on here!?" Serena said.
"Serena, we promise not to hurt you, don't worry." Giga Starburst said.
"Huh? Wait, I remember you... you're Sailor Giga Starburst!" Serena said.
"Yes, I am." Giga Starburst said with a smile.
"Yeah, but... you're so big! How did you grow so huge?" Serena asked.
"It's one of her powers! I saw it with my own eyes. She crushed this one monster flat!" Rini said.
"Okay then..." Serena said, obviously still confused over what she was seeing.
"Anyway, we shouldn't stay here, Rini. We better get to the city pronto!" Giga Starburst said.
"Right! Serena, you get to come along for the ride!" Rini said.
"What!? You can't go into the city. You'll scare everyone!" Serena said.
"Sure I can. I'm bigger than you now. I don't have to take orders from you!" Rini said, sticking her tongue out at the girl in her hand.
"Oh... you!" Serena said.
"Well, in you go!" Rini said. As luck would have it, the dress she was wearing today happened to have pockets, so she easily stuffed Serena inside one of them.
"Okay, let's go to the city!" Rini said. Giga Starburst nodded and the two were on their way.

After a few minutes of walking through small neighborhoods, the two giantesses were finally in the city. And unsurprisingly, everyone was in a panic trying to get away from them. Some took a while to run because of the confusion of seeing a gigantic sailor scout, but eventually they got the hint. Everyone was running despite Giga Starburst's best assurances that there wouldn't be any problems.
"Please, nobody panic. We promise not to hurt any of you." Giga Starburst said in her best calming voice. Not very many heeded the message however.
"It doesn't look like they're getting the message." Rini said.
"I don't blame them. I would run too if I saw someone this huge." Giga Starburst said.
"Really?" Rini said.
"Well, just look at how small they are. They must feel so helpless compared to us. This is why I try to limit the times I grow to when I absolutely have to, like fighting giant monsters." Giga Starburst said.
"Oh, I see. Well, I still think it's fun being this big. I mean... watch this!" Rini said. She stopped her walk and stood on the tips of her toes, reaching up to the top of a building and just able to get her hands to the roof. She grabbed a flagpole, ripping it off the building.
"I'm able to reach up and grab things I couldn't reach before." Rini said.
"Yep, that's one advantage for sure." Giga Starburst said with a smile. But that smile was quickly wiped when suddenly a spout of water shot up into the air. It was only about 30 feet, but Giga Starburst quickly realized where it came from.
"Whoops... sorry!" Rini said as she looked down at the fire hydrant she kicked out of its spot.
"Rini, you must be careful! That could've been someone or something important." Giga Starburst said.
"I'm sorry, Sailor Giga Starburst. I'll be more careful." Rini said.
"Oh, I know you will." Giga Starburst said. Then, she heard her stomach growling. It was somewhat loud to the city as big as she was.
"Ooops, I guess you haven't eaten anything lately!" Rini said.
"Yeah, but neither have you, I would imagine." Giga Starburst said.
"Come on, I know a good treat we can have!" Rini said. She then walked down one of the streets after turning the corner.
"Hey, wait for me!" Giga Starburst said.

After walking past a couple city blocks, being careful not to crush anything along the way (although the streets were almost empty thanks to the panic attack from earlier), Rini finally stopped when she stood in front of an ice cream shop.
"Tada! My favorite ice cream place. They have so many good flavors!" Rini said.
"So I see." Giga Starburst said.
"Would you like some?" Rini asked.
"Well, no thanks. I'm trying to watch my weight." Giga Starburst said. Rini then started to peel off the roof of this building, but Giga Starburst quickly stopped her.
"Wait! Let me do it. I'm more careful with this kind of thing." Giga Starburst said.
"Okay then." Rini said. Sailor Giga Starburst lightly chipped away at the top of the building using her gloved hands. Eventually, she was able to safely remove the top off.
"Hmmm... there's nobody in here. Everyone must have evacuated." Giga Starburst said.
"Well, that just means more ice cream for me!" Rini said. Getting down on her knees, she did her best to scoop up the ice cream with her huge hands. Eventually she just ripped the entire tables off and dumped every flavor possible of ice cream into her mouth. Once she felt the last drop of ice cream go down, Rini placed the table back down inside the shop, and licked her lips of the excess ice cream.
"Mmmm... nice and cold! I can even feel the ice cream in my tummy." Rini said. Sailor Giga Starburst placed both her hands against Rini's stomach.
"Yes, me too!" Giga Starburst said.
"What do you like to eat anyway?" Rini said.
"I like strawberries. In fact, the best ones are at this market not too far from here." Giga Starburst said.
"Really? Can you show me?" Rini asked.
"Of course! Just follow me." Giga Starburst said.

After more passing through city blocks, the two giantesses were now towering over the aforementioned fruit stand. Much like at the ice cream place, there was nobody standing under the canopy that protected the stand, and Sailor Giga Starburst noticed this as she got down on her knees. Still, she couldn't resist helping herself to the crate full of strawberries.
"There we go!" Giga Starburst said, using her fingers to pick up a few strawberries. She stood back up and looked at these strawberries in the palm of her hand. Rini noted how small they were.
"But those strawberries are so small. Are you sure that will be enough?" Rini asked.
"Not after I've given them a little Giga Starburst magic." Giga Starburst said. She closed her hand carefully around the strawberries for a few seconds and then opened it back up. Then, all of a sudden, the strawberries began to grow!
"Huh? What the!?" Rini said, watching as the strawberries kept on growing. They stopped growing once reaching a size where they looked normal-sized when compared to the giantesses.
"This way I don't cause a nationwide food shortage." Giga Starburst said.
"No kidding. You are amazing, Sailor Giga Starburst." Rini said.
"Why thank you, Rini." Giga Starburst said. She then popped a couple of the strawberries into her mouth, smiling as the juices gushed around her mouth with each bite.
"I guess I'll have one too." Rini said, taking the last strawberry in Giga Starburst's hand and throwing it into her own mouth. Rini seemed to enjoy it as she chewed on the strawberry and gulped it down. Both girls were smiling from having those strawberries.
"Ah, that was good." Giga Starburst said.
"Yeah, I agree. But what are we going to do now?" Rini said. Just then, Sailor Giga Starburst could pick up the sound of sirens that were getting increasingly loud in volume.
"Uh oh, I knew this would eventually happen." Giga Starburst said.
"What is it?" Rini said.
"Do you hear, Rini? The police are coming to try and stop us." Giga Starburst said. And with that said, a group of police cars stopped by the feet of both giantesses. Out of one of the cars came two policewomen. That's right, women. Two recognizable women in Tokyo, in fact.

Natsumi Tsujimoto and Miyuki Kobayakawa both came out of their vehicle, with Natsumi holding onto a megaphone.
"Alright, ladies!!! Surrender now or we will be forced to shoot you like the Jack and the Beanstalk wannabes you are!" Natsumi shouted.
"Natsumi! Don't you think that's a bit harsh... I mean, one of them looks cute and the other looks like a sailor scout to me." Miyuki said.
"Come on now, Miyuki. You're never gonna catch criminals with that kind of attitude! These two are a menace to society!" Natsumi shouted at her partner. Miyuki just sighed.
"Well, if you insist." Miyuki said.
"Ladies, we mean you no harm. We will leave this area immediately if you wish for us to do that." Giga Starburst said.
"Awww... can't we stay and play with them, Sailor Giga Starburst? They look like little dolls from up here." Rini said.
"They are still innocent people, Rini." Giga Starburst said.
"Oh, right. Right. Sorry, I got carried away there." Rini said.
"Come on, Rini. Let's go. We promise not to bother you or your city anymore." Giga Starburst said. As the two giantesses walked away, Natsumi and Miyuki both had confused looks on their face, but Natsumi was back to her celebratory (if you want to call it that) mood.
"Ha! Boy, I'm good! Take that, you gigantic ladies! Score another one for us!" Natsumi shouted.
"Natsumi... we better make sure they keep their word. Nakajima, help the city officials with the evacuation. We'll follow those two ladies." Miyuki said, looking back on one of her partners at the station.
"Right away!" Nakajima said as he left and took a squadron of police cars with him. Miyuki then went back to watching the giantesses walking down the street and then turning a corner.
"They certainly look harmless to me..." Miyuki said to herself.

After turning a corner and walking to another city block, one that had a jumbo-sized television for the whole city to see what was going on (and right now it had helicopter shots of the two giantesses), Rini and Sailor Giga Starburst paused to wonder what was next.
"Gee... what do we do now, Sailor Giga Starburst?" Rini asked.
"Well, first off, I hope this has been a fun experience for you." Giga Starburst said.
"You bet! I wish I could be gigantic all the time!" Rini said.
"Well, me too. But we both have our normal lives to live, and I think it's time we got back to them." Giga Starburst said.
"Huh? You mean it's over?" Rini said.
"Rini... those two young ladies were right. We are already putting this city at great risk just by being this big. I want to put everyone's mind back at ease and not let them feel they are in danger." Giga Starburst said.
"Awww... I was really enjoying being this big! Can't we be huge for just a little longer?" Rini said. She was shifting her left foot back and forth on the ground, something she'll sometimes do when begging for something out of someone older than her. She didn't realize she was about to step on a lone red car trying to get away, and Giga Starburst tried to warn her.
"Rini, watch out!!!" Giga Starburst shouted. But it was too late as Rini stepped on the very front of the vehicle, crushing it flat. But fortunately for Sailor Giga Starburst, the driver was unharmed. Dazed from what he just saw out of his front windshield, but not hurt. Sailor Giga Starburst helped the driver out by ripping the side doors off, and that's when he suddenly ran off.
"Whew... that was too close." Giga Starburst said.
"I'm sorry, Sailor Giga Starburst. I didn't realize that little car was there... I'm really sorry." Rini said, holding her head down and shedding a light tear or two. She was thinking she would be scolded by the other giantess, but Sailor Giga Starburst merely rested a hand on the child's shoulder.
"It's okay, Rini. As long as the man survived, I'm not worried about the car. But hopefully now you see why we need to return to normal size." Giga Starburst said.
"Yeah, you're right. We should calm everyone down." Rini said.
"Okay, fair enough. Huh?" Giga Starburst said. She was getting ready to cast the spell that would shrink both her and Rini back to a normal size, but Sailor Giga Starburst happened to glance at the jumbo television, and curiously enough, it was not talking about the gigantic versions of herself and Rini.

"Hold on, I've just been handed a breaking news bulletin! It appears there is another giant being in another part of the city! This giant monster is attacking four of the sailor scouts, the protectors of our city! Witnesses report the scouts were fighting this monster, and then it suddenly grew to a massive size! Yes... we have video of the battle scene now! Oh my goodness, it looks like the monster is getting the better hand over the scouts, and you can see why! Wow, look how big that monster girl is! Is there any hope for the city now!?" the newscaster said. During his talk, video shifted of this female monster just standing still while the other four sailor scouts (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus) fired all their attacks up at this giantess.
"A giant monster? It's been a while since I fought the last one..." Giga Starburst said.
"Huh? I recognize that one! I thought the sailor scouts destroyed that one..." Rini said, remembering the monster to be one of the Droids, Avogadora.
"Probably a reincarnation from some other evil being. I have to stop it and save the other sailor scouts!" Giga Starburst said.
"Let me come with you, Sailor Giga Starburst!" Rini said.
"No! I want you to stay here. I don't want you getting hurt, Rini. Just wait here until I return." Giga Starburst said. And with that said, the giant sailor scout ran off after realizing where exactly in the city the footage was being broadcast from to try and help the other scouts.

Shortly after she was out of sight, Rini looked down and saw Serena sticking her head out of one of her dress pockets.
"*huff puff* Y'know, Rini, you can let me out anytime to catch some air!" Serena said.
"Sorry, Serena. I guess I forgot about you... as small and insignificant as you are!" Rini said.
"Huh? Where is Sailor Giga Starburst?" Serena asked.
"She ran off to fight against a giant monster. Look on the TV!" Rini said. After Serena checked out the same footage that Rini and Giga Starburst had seen earlier.
"Oh my gosh! We have to help them immediately!" Serena said.
"Yes, but how?" Rini said.
"You're a sailor scout, remember? As big as you are, maybe you can help Sailor Giga Starburst!" Serena said.
"Huh? Really?" Rini said. Indeed, in all her excitement of being gigantic, she had forgotten she had the ability to transform into Sailor Chibi-Moon. She looked down at the brooch on her chest to remind herself of that.
"That's right. I'm a sailor scout too. I don't have to hide from anything. I'll protect my friends just like Sailor Giga Starburst is doing." Rini said. Keeping one hand on her brooch, Rini ran off in the same direction as Sailor Giga Starburst. Because of the speed Rini was running at, Serena lost her grip and fell back inside the pocket.
"Hey, not so fast!" Serena shouted.

It all happened so fast for the other sailor scouts. First, they were surrounding Avogadora and hitting her with whatever attacks she wasn't able to deflect. But now, the female monster stood 150 feet tall, smiling devilishly as she looked down at her attackers. Their attacks were now having no effect whatsoever, either just bouncing off the newly created giantess or getting swatted away.
"Hahahaha! Avogadora feel no pain from puny attacks!" Avogadora said.
"Man, what I would give for a giant vegetable killer right about now!" Sailor Jupiter shouted.
"We can't give up! There must be a way to defeat this monster!" Sailor Mercury said.
"Avogadora now squash puny scouts!" Avogadora said.
"Hey, watch out!" Sailor Mars shouted. All four scouts dove in different directions to dodge Avogadora's huge bare foot.
"Scouts dodge well, but Avogadora see you don't dodge this!" Avogadora shouted. She magically summoned a couple of rotten egg bombs, throwing them down on the girls. Again, they dodged the attacks, but the explosions knocked them off their feet, and debris was flying everywhere (striking buildings and nearby vehicles).
"Hmm hmm... sailor scouts not so super from up here." Avogadora said.
"Okay, this isn't good." Sailor Jupiter said.
"What do we do now? And where is Sailor Moon when we need her?" Sailor Venus said. The giant female monster approached the downed scouts once more. This time, she pulled out her banana sword.
"Say bye bye, puny scouts!" Avogadora said. She raised her sword into the air to strike the girls, but soon a loud voice interrupted her.
"Hey, fruit basket! How about picking on someone your own size?" the voice said.
"What!?" Avogadora shouted. She turned around and looked to see Sailor Giga Starburst standing about a dozen yards away. Of course, she was just as tall as the monster.

The other sailor scouts were obviously stunned to see what was behind Avogadora.
"Oh my... that's Sailor Giga Starburst!" Amy shouted.
"Yeah, but how did she get so huge?" Mina said.
"Well, that's one other form of help we could use..." Lita said.
"You have caused great panic throughout this entire city by growing to this height, and you have gained an unfair advantage on my fellow friends in combat. For both of these crimes, I can never forgive you. In the name of the stars that form our galaxy, I am Sailor Giga Starburst, and you will be punished!" Giga Starburst shouted. Despite the speech by the gigantic sailor scout, Avogadora soon made another smile on her face.
"Hahaha... it not matter that you as big as me. Avogadora still destroy you!" Avogadora said. This time, she pulled one of her earrings off and threw it towards Sailor Giga Starburst. The sailor scout made a backflip away from the explosion, and luckily didn't crush anything important upon landing.
"Rainbow Supernova! Strike!" Giga Starburst said. She held two hands against her chest and then thrust them forward, and coming out of her hands was a combination of fire mixed with pure energy. But unlike the last monster she faced, Avogadora was ready for the attack and slashed the beam into two with her banana sword. The energy waves eventually faded out.
"Huh? That can't be!" Giga Starburst said, obviously shocked that her attack had no effect on Avogadora. The monster once again taunted the sailor scout with its laughter.
"Avogadora now show you my special attack! Rotten egg bomb!" Avogadora shouted. She twirled around and sent a flurry of bombs towards the other giantess. This time, Sailor Giga Starburst wasn't fast enough to dodge these bombs, and she ended up losing her footing and crashing against a building, bringing it down with her.
"Ack!" Giga Starburst shouted as she fell down to the ground. Once she hit the ground and sat back up, she knew right away she had taken a building with her, and her immediate concern was for anyone that might've been inside.
"Oh no!" Giga Starburst said as she dug through the rubble with her gloved hands. Luckily for her, she couldn't see any blood amongst the mess, though she was a bit dusty and had some scrapes here and there. But that wasn't the least of her troubles. She was now staring right at the pointy end of Avogadora's banana sword.

"Hahaha! Will weak and pathetic sailor scout surrender to Avogadora?" Avogadora said.
"Never, monster! Ha!" Sailor Giga Starburst said. With great speed, the sailor scout slapped away the banana sword with her hands and then gave a quick kick to Avogadora's stomach, knocking her back several steps before she fell on her behind. In fact, the other sailor scouts had to get out of the way to keep from getting crushed.
"Hey, Sailor Giga Starburst, maybe you should watch where you're kicking those giant monsters!" Raye shouted.
"Oops... sorry, Sailor Mars." Giga Starburst said, rubbing the back of her head. Avogadora quickly got back on her feet.
"Avogadora get serious now!" Avogadora said. She summoned her banana sword again, and sliced a nearby building diagonally with an almost clean cut. Sailor Giga Starburst obviously cringed, hoping there weren't any people inside that particular structure.
"Your fight is with me! Leave the innocent people of this city out of this!" Giga Starburst shouted.
"Hmmm... Avogadora make little bug juice out of you and little friends!" Avogadora said. She raised her banana sword into the air, like she was going to charge it up with power, but she wouldn't get a chance, and she didn't even see the next attack coming.

"Pink Sugar Heart Attack!" a familiar voice said. A wave of pink hearts flew right by Sailor Giga Starburst and struck Avogadora from top to bottom. The hearts knocked the monster back and eventually caused her to fall onto a row of smaller buildings. Sailor Giga Starburst quickly turned around, and her eyes lit up.
"Huh? What?" Giga Starburst asked. There was a giant-sized Sailor Chibi-Moon, still holding her Pink Moon Stick in the air. Naturally, the other sailor scouts were shocked as well.
"Sailor Chibi-Moon!?" Raye shouted.
"But that's impossible!" Amy said.
"Hey, everyone!" Serena, transformed as Sailor Moon, shouted.
"Look, there's Sailor Moon!" Lita said.
"Well, it's about time!" Mina said. Serena finally stopped her running in front of the other girls.
"Alright, Serena! Where the heck have you been and what is Rini doing giant-sized!?" Raye said.
"Um... what order do you want those questions in?" Serena said.
"I don't care, just give us answers, please!!!" Raye shouted.
"Alright, alright. Geez, Raye, you're so mean sometimes." Serena said.
"Serena, why couldn't you answer your communicator?" Amy asked, adding another question.
"I didn't have it with me! I was relaxing in my home, when all of a sudden, a giant Rini and the giant-sized Sailor Giga Starburst tore the roof off my home and just grabbed me. So I've been stuck with Rini until we saw the report of the giant monster here." Serena said.
"But that still doesn't explain how Rini and, for that matter, the new sailor scout got so big." Lita said.
"Oh, Sailor Giga Starburst told me, growing in size is one of her powers. And she can make other people around her big as well... and I'm guessing that's what happened to Rini." Serena said.
"Well, either way, that monster is outnumbered now." Mina said.
"But is she outmatched? Giga Starburst alone couldn't stop that monster..." Amy said as the five sailor scouts watched the gigantic battle continue to play out.

Rini, as Sailor Chibi-Moon, finally lowered her weapon and approached her fellow giant sailor scout. Of course, Rini was still shorter than Sailor Giga Starburst.
"Rini... is that you?" Giga Starburst said. Rini was a bit surprised that Hailey was able to figure out her secret identity so quickly, but she was thinking more about the giantess monster.
"Listen, Sailor Giga Starburst, I think we're going to have to combine our powers to defeat that monster." Rini said.
"Are you sure? Rini, I don't want anything to happen to you..." Giga Starburst said.
"I'll be fine... please, we have to work together!" Rini said.
"Okay, I understand now." Giga Starburst said. The two watched as Avogadora slowly climbed back to its feet.
"Heh heh heh... Avogadora beat four sailor scouts at regular height, two more at big size be no problem for Avogadora!" Avogadora said.
"That's right, fill your head with empty confidence, because you only grew to gain the upper hand. You cannot grow anymore and you have finally met your match! I am Sailor Chibi-Moon, and in the name of the future Moon, I will punish you!" Rini said.
"Individually, at this size, we may be powerful, but together, we cannot be beaten. I am Sailor Giga Starburst, and I will make certain the galaxies do not forgive you!" Giga Starburst said.
"Kaleidomoon Scope! Now!" Rini shouted. She held a hand in the air and allowed another one of her weapons to form. Once it fell into her hand, Sailor Giga Starburst began her attack phase.
"Rainbow Supernova..." Giga Starburst said. Instead of firing the energy almost immediately, she let it rest in her hands, waiting for Rini to summon her attack.
"Moon Gorgeous Meditation!" Rini shouted. Soon, hundreds of energy shards went flying towards Avogadora.
"Strike!" Giga Starburst said, firing off her own bits of energy. The rainbow color of her energy soon merged with the energy shards to create one attack.
"But Avogadora be made into avocado splash!" Avogadora shouted, just before she got hit with the combined energy and screamed out in pain. After a few seconds of that, Avogadora collapsed down on her knees, breathing heavily as she held her chest. Rini was surprised to see Avogadora still in one piece, however.
"What!? She didn't disintegrate?" Rini said. But while she looked shocked, Giga Starburst still had her game face on.
"But she's been weakened significantly. Shrink ball, go!" Giga Starburst said, forming a glowing red ball of light in her hand and then throwing it at Avogadora. It hit the monster and then vanished immediately.
"Now, monster, return to your original size!" Giga Starburst said. Right on cue, Avogadora started shrinking, and she noticed it quite clearly.
"Noooo! Avogadora shrinking! Avogadora shrinking!!" Avogadora shouted.

Eventually, the monster was back to its normal size, looking way up at the two giant sailor scouts as well as the normal-sized sailor scouts behind her.
"Alright! That's your cue, Sailor Moon!" Amy said.
"Just leave it to me, everyone!" Serena said.
"It's okay, Sailor Moon. Allow me." Giga Starburst said. The giantess walked towards Avogadora, who was trying to get away, but couldn't find the energy in her to do so.
"And now you must be punished for your evil deeds." Giga Starburst said. She took a couple steps, with her left foot coming straight down on the monster.
"Avogador...!!!" Avogadora said before it was crushed flat into a pile black mesh under Giga Starburst's white shoe, like the last monster she faced earlier in the day. The normal-sized sailor scouts were quite impressed with what they just saw.
"Man, I don't think I ever want to tick her off." Lita said.
"Because she really puts her foot down!" Mina said. The other scouts just groaned over the bad pun. Sailor Giga Starburst finally looked down at the other sailor scouts, but kept standing at her full height.
"So, I get to help you all a second time. It's once again been quite an honor." Giga Starburst said with a smile.
"Um... Sailor Giga Starburst? How is it that you can grow so big?" Serena asked.
"Those answers will come another time. My secrets must be kept exactly that while the Dead Moon Circus continues to threaten the Earth." Giga Starburst said.
"I see... well, thanks for helping again! Especially at that size!" Serena said. Sailor Giga Starburst nodded.
"I have the feeling we will meet again." Giga Starburst said. She then turned around, and remembered about the giant-sized Sailor Chibi-Moon.
"Um, Sailor Chibi-Moon? Can we take a little walk through the city?" Giga Starburst said.
"Well, sure!" Rini said as the two giantesses walked away. The other scouts watched as they walked off.
"Ugh... I hope Rini shrinks back to normal soon." Serena said.
"Oh, I'm sure she and Sailor Giga Starburst will." Amy said.
"It makes me wonder, though, who Sailor Giga Starburst really is." Raye said.
"I'm sure one day we'll know." Lita said.

A couple minutes later after walking through the city that was now getting drenched in sunlight thanks to the setting sun, Sailor Chibi-Moon and Sailor Giga Starburst stopped their walk when they felt they were far enough.
"Wow! That was so much fun, fighting giant monsters on almost even size! It's like all those movies and TV shows!" Rini said. Hailey smiled, but then looked at Rini in her eyes.
"I always knew there was something special about you, Rini." Giga Starburst said.
"So, how did you know I am Sailor Chibi-Moon?" Rini asked. Because there was nobody in this particular city block thanks to the evacuations, Hailey felt it was safe to answer her question.
"That pink hair is unmistakable. I can't think of anyone else in the world who would have that." Giga Starburst said.
"Yeah, I guess it is that special." Rini said.
"And Serena... she is Sailor Moon, isn't she?" Giga Starburst said.
"Yes... she is." Rini sa.d
"I thought so. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Giga Starburst said.
"And the same for your identity, Hailey. Because we're very best friends, aren't we?" Rini said.
"Well, it's time." Giga Starburst said.
"Okay, okay. You're right." Rini said. She stood next to Sailor Giga Starburst while she conjured up her magic once more.
"Giga Starburst! Size change!" Giga Starburst said. Once again, she concentrated by closing her eyes and allowing some of the jewelry on her outfit to glow. This time, as she held her hands up, it glowed a red color, and Sailor Giga Starburst and Sailor Chibi-Moon both shrunk back to their normal size.

"Awww... I feel so small all of a sudden!" Rini said.
"Don't worry, you'll get adjusted back to normalcy in time. I know I do. Now come on, we better get you home." Sailor Giga Starburst said. At this point, Hailey decided there was no point in remaining as Sailor Giga Starburst, and she reformed back to her civilian form.
"Hey, you think the city will ever be bustling with activity again?" Rini said as she transformed back to her normal self.
"Well, there are no more giantesses for the time being. I would hope everyone comes back!" Hailey said.
"Yeah, me too!" Rini said with a smile. The two girls then began the long walk back for Serena's home (but luckily they were able to make it before nightfall).
